Hotels Near Thairai Tailor in Phuket

I was sceptical about this hotel in the 1st place. But after made a booking for one night just to know which area in patong. I would say its quite good. The area itself quite big with ample parking. Basic hotel with pool and gym. Location near to mall in patong. Just a few walk u can find restaurant and pharmacy. Staff accommodate and polite. Clean. The only things im not happy for 3000bhat deposit is too high for this type of hotel. As I'm not cash person. I do pay everything cashless. When we ask for card to pay depo ( staff said hassle to refund etc) I do travel few hotel in Thailand. This is the highest deposit. As I'm already paid the room.

This place turned out to be a complete disaster. By no means an apartment hotel. Just an apartment complex with absolutely no in-house ameneties with two *****s sitting at reception to handover the keys to you and don't even bother to escort you to the room at the time of check-in. These *****s don't even know how to talk to guests in a polite way. Even my illiterate housemaid behaves in a much nicer way. No glass partition between the restaurant kitchen and seating - making the entire ground floor smelly with seafood frying. Strictly no for pure Indian vegetarians who are not used to such smell, otherwise go to the restaurant be ready to puke. Our son almost did and ran out of the building. In a small, so-called 1 bedroom apartment, they have tried to fit too many things. The fact is - everything is good for nothing. The wooden partition between bed and living makes both spaces too small and claustrophobic. Sofa is at 5 feet viewing distance from the 40 inch TV, better you bang your head on the TV instead. Microwave is placed at a height of 6 feet - use chair to climb and see the status of your dish. A small balcony is good for nothing - and housekeeping never cleans it, which makes it full of dirt. No in-room phone, no on-demand housekeeping, no room service. So be ready to make frequent trips to the ground floor reception and nearby 7-Eleven and Family Mart for small small things. No tea/coffee/sugar pouches in the kitchen, bare minimum utensils, hot plate based old style cooktop doesn't give any temperature control. Toaster and tea kettle provided, but neither enough plug points nor enough space on cooking platform to out these. Didn't even provide utensil cleaning liquid and scrubber. No hand towels provided in the bathroom. No hooks to hang clothes. I was pleasantly surprised to see beach towels in the bathroom. My question is - if you are charging like any other 3-star hotel in the area, and can't even take care of such basic things, why are you calling yourself a ”hotel” and charging like a 3-star hotel. Only milky white bedsheets and strong Air-conditioners don't make you a good place to stay. Services, amenities and behaviour do, all of which badly lack in your ”hotel”.

The rooms are small, cleaning is practically not available. During the week, the floors have not been washed. The bathroom was full of sand. The hoods in the shower are not present. The door in the bathroom is broken, it was necessary not to close it at all 🙈 On the balcony at all did not come. The dryer is not available. Toilet paper was not put. The pool is closed at 9, and even just sitting next to it after 9 is not possible. Very noisy. Not much that the stadium and club under the window, and the crowds of neighbors hear all night. Single slippers have not put. The dish washed. In general, from cleaning one visibility. Parking is not available. Everything stands in front of the entrance and under the open sky. Breakfast is scarce, close to 10 no longer add anything. Near bed there are no bulbs. The light switch is between the pillows. At night, the head was constantly lighted and woke up. The hotel was not very much liked at all.

If you return to sleep to the room after 3 am, this is a very good hotel. But nearby there is a bar where someone yells into the microphone with all their might at 2 a.m and sings karaoke. Sounds from Bangla isn't that loud. Pity, I can't add the video of it. But the pool is nice and room is big enough and comfortable

Хороший отель, близкое расположение к пляжу, ночному рынку и знаменитой улице Бангла Роуд, рядом много обменников, если пройтись можно всегда найти выгодный курс. Так же рядом супермаркеты и обычные лавки с фруктами. Залог можно оставить, как в местной валюте, так и в долларах, евро и рублях (5000 руб.) Персонал на ресепшне не очень общительный, по-русски не говорит, только на английском. Брали номер + завтрак, завтраки однотипные день от дня, но всегда есть яичница и фрукты, за что большой плюс. Есть приятный бассейн, если в самую жару не хочется идти на пляж. Номер на попался простенький, но уютный. Фен, чайник, сейф есть. Уборка была каждый день, с мытьём полов. Только один раз нам не поставили воду. В целом все ок.

If you're only staying in Phuket a couple of days, this hotel is satisfactory. It's quite close to the beach and shopping if you need to buy anything. There are two important things to note: 1) There is a 1,000 Baht deposit you have to pay upon check in. You get the deposit back when you check out. 2) The address/name on the site does not take you to the hotel. The hotel is the ICheck Inn Chill Patong and the address is 18 / 1Rat-u-thit ,200 pee road, kathu, Phuket, 83150, Thailand.

Love the location. For Muslim travellers, Patong Bay is the best location for you. Just 5 minutes walk to Masjid. Easy to find halal food. You can find one just across the road. Easy to get tuk tuk. Can walk to Patong Beach, but you can also get tuktuk and pay around 200-300 baht per trip. The hotel facilities is very basic, a good place to rest and sleep. The swimming pool is small but clean. The breakfast is very basic as well, but mix with non-halal items. But for me coffee, toast, fruits and cereal is good enough. If you want roti canai and teh tarik, you can find it across the road. Recommended for Muslim travellers.

Pros: Good value for money, staff were great, rooftop pool was awesome, spacious rooms with everything you need, dog friendly. Cons: bit far away from beaches and some attractions but close to Phuket old town.

Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast had a variety, i enjoyed very much. Location is great, next to local market, walkable distance to airport bus terminal and city. Thank you very much.

Stayed for 8 nights in this hotel with my wife. Excellent hotel overall. Very clean indeed, staff very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They open doors for you as you enter reception, take you bags to your room, help sort car / moped hire etc, The room was very clean and well appointed. Bath and beach towels are provided and they change these as frequently a you need. They also provide all the usual essentials including shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, bottled water every day. Kettle, hob, large sink and basic utensils, glasses, cups etc were all provided. Also an iron and ironing board as well as a clothes drying stand. The big kitchen sink is easily bug enough to do clothes washing in. Room service was excellent each day. Balcony size on normal rooms was slightly small, especially as was shared with two large air conditioning units (all balconies appear the same) so this made the balcony cramped, noisy and hot when air conditioning was on. Breakfast was provided in the adjoining restaurant. This was excellent offering fresh hot and cold food, eggs made to your liking (fried, scrambled, omelettes, etc), bacon, sausages, fruit, bread, croissants, etc etc. Seemed to have everything included plentiful supply of juices, coffee, tea, etc. Most things self-service but the staff were on hand to help and to clear used dished. The location of the hotel means it is a 15 minute to the beach and 15 minutes to the main restaurant area known as Boat Avenue. Fortunately the hotel runs a shuttle bus service twice an hour to both locations and back until 9.10pm. Would be nice if slightly later coming back from Boat Avenue, but taxis and tuk-tuks were on hand although these aren't the cheapest. The main local beach is Bang Tao beach. This is lovely. Very clean (as everywhere seems to be here), soft white sand, gentle shelving into the water with no stones or rocks. Shame about sea lice the bite / sting in the water but they are everywhere in this part of the world depending on time of year and they are a very minor irritation. Also good availability of sun-beds as well as beverages from the beach shacks. Lots of fresh water showers and there is parking next to the beach as well as toilets. Boat Avenue has plenty of nice restaurants - see my other reviews if you want to see where we went and what we thoughts. Lots to choose from. Most restaurants seem to slow down food service after 9.30pm and this is not a clubby resort. Was just right for us though as there were plenty of bars and some with live music (check out The Mexican bar and restaurant). Wine is not cheap here and starts around £30 a bottle - although some could be found around £25. We stuck to beer with dinner. There is also a handy large supermarket selling everything you could need and is right by taxi station and open until 10pm. Final top tip about this area is to visit on a Friday night if you can as the street market is great with street food and live music. Easy to hire cars and
