No words.... Has been a trip INSIDE a subway construction area .... And I am not kidding unfortunately. I have reserved a single room kind bed. At beginning the reception assigned me one room at 4th floor exactly in front of jackhammer operators, which made the same noises as in war scenario with 2 beds. Then after my immediate big complain reception have assigned me another room, #209. Different scenario : that was in front of a concrete grinding crane arrives from 8pm in the morning until 10pm in the evening. at 7am the noises of the vehicles began with the relative movement alarm and in the evening after 10pm the workers who hammer gradually finished at 1am in the night. all i have timed videos to prove my experience. I asked several times to assign me a room ON OTHER SIDE (that are outside the ”war operation area”) but answer was always _ ”SORRY SIR, THE ROOM ON BACKSIDE ARE FULL AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE” . Today at check out I have asked a discount, as feedback the receptionist charged me 20EUR more for 2 peer juices I have got from minibar...... I do not know how to describe this experience, I have been many times in Intercontinental and I have been always satisfied.... BESIDE THIS LAST TRIP THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO FORGET Travellers' take extreme care going there !! At least until the subway works under room balcony are finished !!! Can not upload pictures the website tell me ”unable to lad” but I can sent ll of them separately

This is not a safe place! Especially if you are a solo traveler. If anything bad happens to you, this hostel would not help you, nor take any responsibility and actually would not care at all. That was exactly what happened to me when staying with them. I booked a mixed room for 5 nights. One night, in the middle of my stay, a sexual harrasment happened in my room conducted by one of the man staying in the same room. He got very drunk. In the middle of the night he started to shout, laugh and finally....masturbated (in a shared room). I was scared to death, my bed was just in front of his, I was sacred he would rape me or hurt me in another way. Suddenly, he went close to the window, and I could hear he was urinating on the floor, on my shoes.. I used the moment that he was across the room to get up and ran out as fast as I could to inform the reception about the incident. I spent the rest of the night in the reception area, was too frightened to go back to the room, I begged them to find something else for me, saying that after all of this, I would not go back to the room. I was asked to pack my belongings as they would check with a manager what they could do for me. On the next day I got the message saying that this man had checked out, and I was offered to stay in the exact same room, in the same bed...or I could leave if I didn't like the idea of staying there... I booked a room in a different place, as I felt disgusted with their behavior. The hostel failed to refund me ANY money for my unused bookings and my destroyed shoes. What was even worse, they never said or charged anything to this man. Nobody called the police. The man ate breakfast and was permitted to check out as if nothing happened. After few days of back and forth with the hostel, they offered that I could cancel the reservation overall to claim a refund - meaning I would not be able to give a review of the place... I refused and decided to give an honest review that this is NOT a safe place to stay, especially for women who travel solo.

DO NOT GET ROOMS 51, 41, 31, 21 (next to elevator) otherwise worth a stay. This is a good hotel. However having been here twice, some notes for fellow travelers. - If you are light sleeper like me, DO NOT get any rooms 51 and so on next to the elevators. WOW it is not stop intermittent mechanical noise night and day. - Try and get a top floor room with a terrace. The other rooms are not bad, yet they have the wood flooring that looks cool and works fine, yet when house keeping starts their clean ups, they slide the beds over the wood which makes for more noise if you are trying to sleep in late. - Bed is comfortable, bathroom is sizable, but not too large. - Hotel is very new-school contemporary. - Breakfast is good. Coffee machine is the usual auto job, whatever… - House keeping could be bit more detail focused. There was a smashed bug on the wall near the bed. No big deal, yet a simple wipe with a sponge would have covered that.

Very satisfied! ! ! Will come to live in the future~ The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes walk to the river, 5 minutes to the supermarket! The sister at the front desk looks good, breaking the perception of the Portuguese. The room is too big, clean and hygienic, it's almost like home. I can't wait to stay for a month~ Although it is an apartment, it is safe,

We stay two nights . €90 per night in the only room available. It is in the Allied Avenue just ahead of the metro entrance and it is the cheapest hotel nearby. The macdonalds make the best kebab I eat. And near the Vaccum we eat the best French girl of my life. Not even canelas's close. We paid EUR 50 two people, but it was worth it. We bought the hydrant on the Skin Of Angels.19.90 website. The hotel was very good and we were walking on the river and the metro in the palm tree.
Porto Royal Bridges Hotel

I had a very pleasant stay in Porto Royal Bridges Hotel. The hotel is very close to Sao Bento train station, which is the city's centre, you can easily walk to any attractions from there. My hotel room was very new and clean, so 5/5 cleanliness score. The service was good. Although I accidentally booked a twin room, they helped me to convert my room into a double room when I requested it. Also, they provided room service very quickly. There was a coffee machine in my room, which was very great. Also, they provided us with 1L of free water every day. They provide a wide range of amenities, so you should be able to find anything you can expect from a hotel.

We stayed here for five nights over New Year 2023. First and foremost, the location is excellent, close to most of the main sights and convenient both for the train station and metro giving convenient access to the airport. We stayed in a comfortable one bed studio with kitchenette and adjoining lounge area, the one featured on the website which is representative of the actual room. The studio also backs onto the rear garden so it was very quiet even though it was the New Year holiday. Kitchenette was very well equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, oven, two ring hob and plenty of utensils. TV had Netflix/Prime. Very comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water and plenty of space to make our stay a good one. We opted for the daily continental breakfast which is delivered to your door daily and is quite substantial with fruit, yoghurt, croissants, bread coffee or tea and juice. Very friendly staff made this an excellent stay.

We were in porto supposedly for two nights, staying in this central hotel. Rooms are clean, receptionists nice and speaking several languages. We had a night emergency with our baby and they called a transport for us, sending us to the proper hospital and asking us how things were going the day after. We had to add a night in Porto and they were super efficient. It may not have all the modern comforts, but if we're staying in Porto again, we'll definitely book a room there. Thank you for everything :)
