Quality Inn Near Joint Base Andrews-Washington Area

Checked in after 12:15AM was given a smoking room and the FD staff started arguing that it is a NON-SMOKING room and THEY are supposed to take the SMOKING sign out of the door of that room. So we got moved to room 151. The FD agent said that she will bring the keys waited for sometime but there were no signs of her so we went downstairs to get the key. Now in RM151, at 12:30AM we are struggling to open the door as the installation of the door lock was done so poorly. In the shower the shower-head will have limited water because the water will constantly run in the tub and you get free hip-hop music as the shower makes so much noise, told the FD but they speak very little English so was no help. We go to B-Fast and wanted some hard boiled eggs and while picking up found a hair as the eggs were not wrapped and anyone can touch it as there were no tongs. Told the staff and they brought the hard boiled eggs out, upon taking only one bite we threw up because the eggs were rotten, smelly. Didn't said anything and left and shortened our stay to 2 nights but never went to bfast. Now we were heading out and wanted to iron clothes turn the iron ON and did a test and saw huge black residue in one of the pillow cover, went to Front Desk and asked for another iron which he didn't have after 10 minutes a HK comes to the room and handed me another gross iron to which I said I will not use it and need a one which does't have the burnt residue, thank god she gave me one. Saw the GM's name outside but never saw him once seems like he doesn't care. Overall, this is not a very clean hotel, the staff doesn't speak English, rotten breakfast and broken shower with free hip-hop music. I wonder how this hotel is keeping the brand name as the place looks shabby and the run down.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites College Park-University Area

This hotel, although, conveniently located, is on a very, very, very busy street. Very close to the University, and a lot of fun places to eat and hang out, but it comes at the cost of being in an ever so slightly “shady” area. Once inside the hotel, you forget about all of it, and the staff do an excellent job of making you feel welcome and this older property. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that it is conveniently located to the green line, but we were unprepared for all of the fees associated with parking and riding in to DC. We wish we would have reserved parking lot in town and just driven.
Rodeway Inn Joint Base Andrews Area

I stayed here several times when it was still part of the Quality Inn and one time when it was a Roadway. That time there was some suspect behavior with **********s so I left. I made the mistake of booking here because of a last minute family emergency but even for that I’d NEVER stay here. Once we finally got into room 108 there were burns EVERYWHERE. The blanket, sheets, wall paper, door, carpet, table, even the TOILET SEAT had burns in it. I don’t even know how you burn a toilet seat?! But it smelled of smoke even though it was listed as smoke free, had a hole in the wall, a large piece of furniture was missing (chair or couch) the bed had a big dip in it, stains everywhere, door lock was broken as If someone tried to kick the door in, heater was broken, and it was just an overall disaster. I literally checked in and checked right out within 15 minutes. I absolutely wouldn’t stay here. We think the room was used for drugs with the small little burns everywhere. Just horrible.
Best Western Plus College Park Hotel

This was a comfortable clean place to stay and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. This offset some of the downsides, particularly parking issues. The lot was full our first night, but an upper lot belonging to the University is ok to park in on weekends, as staff confirmed. The lot had plenty of spaces the next night. Our last night (upper lot NOT ok) there were 2 spaces but in such a tight spot we couldn't maneuver our long van into them next to other long vans with a retaining wall close by. Staff allowed us to park in a handicap parking spot since nothing else was available to fit. Good walkable location to many restaurants and some of the University. We were worried it might be too loud (room facing main road) but with the AC fan running on low it was fine. Please fix the pancake maker!
Comfort Inn Conference Center

Really disappointed with my stay here. I booked 2 rooms and was traveling for a funeral. With that being said it would have been nice to experience some form of hospitality. Check-In - Fast efficient, confirmed my room type. I requested a rollaway and was not told about the price per day at no point. I noticed it on the bill upon check out. Breakfast- Basic options, the staff seemed more interested in speaking with each other vs bussing the tables and making sure guest had clean tables to sit at. The waffle station was a nice touch. They need to replenish more often specially during peak times. Upon check out I went to the front desk to request a late check out. I was told by “Brenda” they had 186 check outs and only 4 housekeepers working. Not sure why I needed to know this but it was told to me on a very rude and condescending way that was totally rude and uncalled for. I requested that my keys be updated as they stopped working. Upon arriving to my room with my new keys they did not work. I went back to the desk and spoke with “Rachel”. I explained to her the new keys did not work so she came up to the room to check. She confirmed they were not working so we proceeded to walk back to the desk as she had no phone on her (working without resources to readily help a guest, red flag). The engineer arrived and he was very helpful, sadly the door still would not open resulting in him taking more time and eventually having to break the room door open. After this entire ordeal I lost a lot of time so I called the desk again to advise them that the delay in getting back into my room really set me back. I again asked for a late check out and “Rachel” proceeded to say “no, no, exactly what the lady told you we can’t do a late check out we have 4 housekeepers” I then asked her what ways could she support in making sure I did not miss my transportation, as I did not expect for engineering to have to break my door open. The response was her hanging up on me and then not picking up the phone when I called back 2 times. I went to the desk personally to get her name is felt this was a very negative interaction and wanted to write a review. As someone that travels often I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would never come back…. the hospitality was a major miss. Simple free opportunities to engage with a guest and provide a memorable experience were missed. Traveling for a funeral is stressful enough, having the staff treat you poorly was not apart of my plans. Spend the extra few bucks and stay somewhere else. This property is a total miss.

I been going to this hotel for 2 yrs every month for a staycation to get away. This one time hotel guests arguing in hallway disturbing guests cops called. Cops came bck 2nd night banging on guest door wellness check. I stayed 2 nights no rest, noise & scared 1st night for my safety because of arguing in hallway. It's so ghetto there now! I'm told by Mgr or night supervisor I can get refund at checkout or at least half but Mgr Pricilla Harris refused she offered me points but no money back or free night. I always stayed on 2nd floor only once 1st floor. I would have stayed 1 night on 1st floor near entrance ONLY. I believe I'm owed all or half refund for 1 night my rest was disturb I was terrified entire night. It's straight Ghetto now. They lost a loyal customer because I'll never go to that location again at Hampton Park Blvd in Capital Heights MD
