Overall a great experience. My boyfriend and I went here as our first time flying out of the country. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Out of the entire resort we only came across one staff member who wasn’t the best. We would recommend this resort to anyone! The staff here is always happy and having a good time with the guests. The only negative is that the buffet food isn’t my absolute favorite but I am a picky eater and still found things to eat. Another negative is the guests who come to Punta Cana are mostly from Europe so there is a lot of smoking but that will happen at any resort, and the resort is not adults only although the only time children were noticeable to us were at the main pool. If you stay in the swim up bar pool or on the beach children aren’t that noticeable. The night time entertainment is geared towards children earlier on (before 8:30 i’d say) and then after that it becomes more dancing and singing for the adults. The resort was very clean and easy to navigate between the map you’re given upon check in and their app. Through the RIU app we were able to request more towels, room service, sheets changed, etc, all while at the pool or beach. At this resort you get a little bit of everything! I would compare this resort to a cruise on land. It’s very big with lots to do and see and you won’t regret staying here.

All I can say is AMAZING. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. The staff is so friendly. We stayed on the club side. Our butler was Ramiro. He is truly AWESOME. We were all blown away by his attention to what ever we needed. I can’t think him enough for making our stay a memorable one. The food was great. They have several restaurants to choose from. Breakfast is served every morning at a couple of them. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this property or the staff. Book this property for whatever celebration or solo trip you have coming up. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED

Cap Cana
What an incredible trip!! We are still dreaming about our vacation to Eden Roc Cap Cana. This place is the full package--amazing beach, pool, service, and restaurants. We have a 2y and 5y old and they were SO amazingly kind to them. Special shout out to Sara and Braulio, our personal concierge. We were able to text them via ”whats app” for anything we needed, such as things for the room, dining reservations, and spa appointments. We stayed in an ocean front one bedroom suite--they had a wonderful crib for my son and my daughter slept on a very comfortable pullout. The room was set up with a kids tent and toys, bathrobes and slippers, hats and sunglasses--they were jumping in excitement! Our suite was on the first floor so our large patio was just steps from the beach--just amazing. Everyday during naps and after the kids' bedtime, we were able to enjoy the beach and views and cocktails. The villas up the hill seem great too especially for bigger families, but with a toddler we LOVED having everything at our fingertips. Another shoutout to Gustavo and Wilson who took care of us daily on the beach, bringing us lunch and drinks. Everything was timely and delicious. We had even had multiple dinners right on our patio from the Beach Club--easy and simple for our crew. The food and drinks were surprisingly good--and we are picking New Yorkers! : ) We also absolutely loved the breakfast--buffet and menu options included in the room rate. Clara brought out a baby placemat and utensils each day without us ever asking. Just wow! Thank you to the entire team at Eden Roc Cap Cana. We are so excited to return!

This was an excellent stay. It’s not near the downtown area nor walkable outside resort. You’ll need transportation to leave the resort. We were a couple and it was very nice even though it wasn’t adults only. There was alot of live entertainment at night to keep you busy. We didn’t need to leave the resort and was just fine walking to the beach and going to the pool area. The food was just great. I ate a lot but it seemed more healthy than food in US. I loved the assor**ent of fruits and vegetables. We did a spa trea**ent as well. The entertainment was well planned and set up so that there is something different every night. I have no complaints. Next time we come we’ll try an adults only resort.
Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites

First the good news: The resort is beautiful. The landscape is nice and the beach area is beautiful as well. The buffet (both at Iberostar Selection and Coral Level are good). The a la carte restaurants are nice and a level up from the buffet. Everyone working at the resort is trying to keep customers happy (thanks Yolanda for making the restaurants reservations ahead of time). The evening programs were nice. Second the not so good news: Problems with the room. After upgrading our room to the ocean from presidential suite and waiting an hour to be ready not everything worked as expected. The TV in the living room was not working and it took a couple of phone calls and a day to have it fixed. The jacuzzi which was advertised as part of the room did not work either and it took two days to have it fixed. The A/C in the bedroom could not get to a cool level during the entire stay. And finally one night the electricity went out at midnight and didn’t come back until the next morning (intermittently). No explanation or apologies from the hotel was ever provided). So plan your expectations accordingly.

The hotel has a car at counter 35 at the airport exit, but there is a fee of 40 dollars for a family. Check out to the airport, there is also a car to send, but also pay 40 dollars per family. The wait time was very long when checking in. The waiters seemed to be very busy and very inefficient. The room sanitation is so-so, and the towels and bedding feel very old and not clean and white. But it feels very good after moving in. The hotel is very large and it takes two days to familiarize yourself with the environment. All-inclusive food and drink, including drinks, there are many restaurants with different dishes, very rich, and rich in seafood. There are also many small living rooms that provide food and drink during non-dinner times. In short, you can find food at any time. The beach and sea water are very beautiful. There are different large-scale show performances every night, which is surprising because I did not see the introduction of the show when I booked the room. All inclusive of eating, drinking and having fun at the hotel, a great experience. The test for the new coronavirus is provided free of charge the day before departure, and the result is obtained on the day of departure. You need to present the test result when you check in.
