clean but old fashioned rooms, there was 1 outlet to plug things in a room for 3. breakfast is ok and staff is helpful, roof garden has nice view but restaurant looked narrow and too many tables to eat in a pleasant settings - plenty other options nearby thanks to its great location.

Excellent hotel located in a strategic position at the beginning of the seafront and close to the city center and the Museum (where you can see the famous Riace Bronzes). Breakfast absolutely needs to be improved in terms of the quality and quantity of products as well as the very tight opening hours (until 9.30 from Monday to Saturday and until 10 on Sunday).
Arsenio at the Reception was an excellent suggestion for things to do in the city and the surrounding area.

Very convenient location for the center of Reggio Calabria, especially for the archaeological museum and the seafront. Perfect parking in front of the entrance, very fast check-in / out procedures, well-kept and furnished common areas. Generous sized room with a nice closet and a spacious well stocked bathroom. I did not take advantage of breakfast and meals. The only drawback is the lack of electrical sockets near the bed.

Stayed at E Hotel for two nights and would NEVER stay again or recommend to anyone. Dirty rooms with paint pealing off the walls, filthy towels, smallest breakfast in the whole of Italy and service at this hotel is absolutely disgraceful especially from the manager Luppino himself. At the end of the stay we raised our concerns with Luppino and he turned around to his staff and said he should have come later so he didn’t have to deal with it. Definitely not 4 stars and would not even rate it a 1. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Situated in a nice area close to the sea. Our room was luxurious with a tiny balcony, but the view wasn't so great. Breakfast was excellent and very tasty. The staff was very kind and helpful and I thank them for their help. Dinner on the roof terrace was very tasty. The terrace was nice and had a scenic view

We had a good time. Excellent convenient location on the seafront and in the centre, friendly and helpful staff, good service, comfortable room although unfortunately the carpet is still present. Dinner was good, but breakfast was even better. From the fifth floor you can enjoy a splendid view of the sea and nearby Sicily

We spent the Easter weekend 2024 here. Hotel in an excellent position at the beginning of the seafront in Reggio Calabria, spacious, comfortable rooms, complete with everything (the only flaw is the unsuitable hairdryer, the model is the one found in public swimming pools, unfortunately the mine wasn't even working), very clean, very comfortable bed with new and nice firm mattress. Complete Sky TV. My room had a panoramic terrace from which you could admire nearby Sicily and the beach below with a splendid sea. Excellent breakfast with home-made desserts and a corner of savory dishes. We had dinner in the La Nave restaurant, very beautiful, panoramic, excellent dinner, in line with the prices. You absolutely cannot miss a walk on the Roof Garden on the fifth floor, a terrace that looks like a pier in the center of the sea with a breathtaking view. I can't imagine in the summer how wonderful it is to be able to spend the evening up there, between a cocktail and a coffee. The hotel staff is very kind, always available to satisfy every request. The internal parking is priceless. If we were to return to Reggio Calabria we will definitely stay at the E' Hotel!!!! Highly recommended

I didn't like this hotel and I don't understand how it has 4 stars. The structure is neglected and the cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired. My room had: dusty carpeting, a small TV, the lack of a plug above the bedside tables, a municipal swimming pool hairdryer in the bathroom. My window overlooked an abandoned building (to see the sea I had to leave the hotel and go up the seafront) and the spring quilt without a duvet cover is unhygienic for me. Among other things, in the middle of winter we needed a duvet (I had to take another blanket from the wardrobe because I was cold, but that too was a spring quilt without a duvet cover...): I suffered from the cold in the middle of the night. And finally breakfast: served on the ground floor in a room facing the car park and with all products packaged/thawed and/or not at all inviting (at least they could serve it on the floor where the restaurant is). The only positive things: the parking, the fact that the hotel is located at the beginning of the seafront, the freshly prepared hot drinks for breakfast and the kindness of the staff.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Archaeological Museum. From the roof terrace you have a beautiful view of the Strait of Messina and Mount Etna. There is an attractive restaurant on the top floor. On the other hand, the rooms are on the small side and their furnishings are a bit dated.

Seaside hotel overlooking the strait with breathtaking views. Very nice rooms with a very comfortable bed. Welcoming and professional staff. The dinner was impeccable, based on excellent quality fish. Highly recommended

Hotel booked by the company: upon arrival, after having photocopied the documents and drawn up an invoice, the receptionist asks for advance payment to access the room. He explains: "It's our company policy, there are people who leave without paying." I pay with a company card. Assigned 216 where I find dusty carpet with an irritating odor, rusty shower base, ruined bedspread and more. I ask for a room change (my wife has a dust allergy, looking for a pharmacy at that time for an antihistamine would be difficult) I am told that the hotel is fully booked, the only availability is the suite which costs double the price of the 216 and you therefore have to pay the difference. I retrieve my trolley from my room to leave and ask for the money back: denied. The receptionist says that they are orders given by Arsenio Luppin or, the director he speaks to on the phone. I protest for not having used a paid service and, arrogantly, he writes me his personal details and those of the director on a piece of paper for any grievances. I inform him that the legal office will activate the recovery procedure. I'm going out when Va peraria says to me: Wait a minute, a room has become available. But how?, a little while ago it was fully booked and then a room materializes...Do you want to lead me by the nose? Reaction: I send Go to hell, leaving the hotel and the money too. In the car I contact the company representative who, mortified at having sent me to the “E' Hotel”, advises: "Eat something (at 9.00 pm the restaurant of the E' Hotel - fully booked and with four stars - was already closed.. .) and return to the E' Hotel to sleep these few hours. Also to avoid losing the money already paid". We return to the hotel, accommodation in 201 which was miraculously freed: it costs the same as 216, it is worse but without carpet. The photos speak for themselves: dirt under the bed, broken air conditioning grill, ruined tub and non-functioning hydromassage, curtain off the rails and broken, peeling and dirty walls, only one alternative pillow compared to the two in the double room, absence of mattress cover (I don't require the topper like Bruno Barbieri but the sheet in direct contact with a stained mattress is unacceptable) and much more. I point out the shortcomings to the receptionist and night porter in order to avoid damages being attributed and charged, documenting what is stated here without fear of contradiction. I ask for an alarm clock (impossible to charge my cell phone near the bed) at 8.00 to go to breakfast by 9.30 (not even at Pensione Mariuccia with such rigid hours): I find poor service and quality, in line with the structure, christened with 4 stars. At 10 I go to hand over the magnetic card (not working: after vain attempts to open and waiting 10 minutes in front of the door, it had been replaced with a key) to leave the hotel permanently but the reception is deserted. At the bar there is an employee in uniform, I give her the key back and say hello

The location of the hotel is exceptional as is the dinner service on the terrace on the 5th floor. Dishes rich in Calabrian flavors accompanied with local wines to make you fall in love with Calabria. 3 nights and 3 dinners with abundant breakfasts for all tastes. Impeccable cleanliness and room service. To be recommended. The writer is the group leader, a licensed tour guide and does so on behalf of the group.
