Stayed here for one night recently while in town for a marching band competition. The location is very convenient for getting to The Dome at America's Center and very convenient to get back on the expressway to head back to Illinois so the location is a plus. There is nothing particularly ”bad” about the hotel but it just is in need of updating. The rooms are very dated from the carpet to the doors to the furniture. The popcorn ceilings are the biggest indicator that things have not been updated in a long time. Beds are old and noisy. Hilton would be wise to start doing a hard goods refurbishment in each room and bring in fresh carpet, paint, furniture, and countertops. Having said that, the on-site parking was inexpensive and convenient and the breakfast area in the lower level of the hotel was the largest seating area I've seen at a Hilton property so that was nice. Update the rooms and this Hampton could be quite a gem.
Whether you are a family visiting the St. Louis area for a vacation, or a corporate guest in town for business, choose the Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis/Forest Park. Situated just west of the downtown area, this charming extended-stay hotel is located on I-40, less than five minutes from Busch Stadium and Forest Park. Enjoy easy access to many major St. Louis attractions including the Fox Theatre, Missouri Botanical Gardens and City Museum. Soulard Mardi Gras, St. Patricks Day Parade and the St. Louis International Film Festival are just a few of the wonderful annual events which keep travelers returning to the area, time and again.
Make yourself at home in a modern studio suite, complete with complimentary WiFi, an LCD TV, a sleeper sofa, and a well-lit work desk with ergonomic chair. Prepare and store food purchased from our convenient hotel suite shop in the kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Upgrades are available should you require extra space, and additional seating and bedding options.
Our outdoor dining area is a fantastic space in which the whole family can sit out and enjoy delicious grilled meals. Exercise in the fitness center – complete with two treadmills, one cross trainer, and a stationary bicycle – and take a dip in the inviting indoor pool. Groups in St. Louis for a wedding or special event can take advantage of our tremendous hotel room block options.

Super clean and friendly hotel especially if Dori is working. I use this hotel when I take my daughter to doctor appointments and have always been treated great. Dori goes above and beyond to help me out accommodating our needs for my special needs daughter. Without her here I wouldn't think so highly of the place. Great work Dori!!!

Location was great, room was surprisingly smaller than expected after staying at other Le Meridien locations around the world, but still comfortable.
Service was wonderful. Food and beverage specifically were great throughout the morning and night.

My wife and I traveled to St Louis for a weekend trip. The Rennaissance was one of the lower priced options, but the hotel was amazing. Just off the interstate, making it easy to get to anywhere that you want to go. The room was very nice, clean, and in great shape. The breakfast buffet was simple, but the food was great! All-in-all, we will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip!

Excellent
RReedPAn absolutely great location that is right across the street from the new St. Louis city soccer stadium, it's two blocks walking distance from the city market Union station area. It's easily accessible just off of I64.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fairly well stocked. And the one downside would be the in room refrigerator. It was very tiny and had no freezer section, which depending on the visitor they may or may not need. I am coming from far enough away and with children that I needed to refreeze freezer packs for snacks.
The breakfast each morning was okay. It was scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with cheese plus sausage. One morning it was a choice of turkey, sausage patties or pork sausage patties, while the next day was a choice of pork sausage links or chicken sausage links. Links. Plus they had the standard bread, English muffin, bagels, muffin, fruit. The downside would be the lack of waffle maker. I don't know why that makes a difference, because I don't really eat waffles. But my kid loves waffles and loves to make them. And instead of having a waffle maker, they had a hot plate filled with pre-made bagged frozen waffles that they had preheated for everybody. Oh yeah in my pics you'll see a pic of my kid's milk. IT wasn't expired, but the ad on it was and it gave me quite a scare when I saw it.
And depending on plans, and what I need to be close to, if need be I will definitely stay here again with my family. The area was safe, clean, and I forgot the funniest part... Directly across the street from the FBI. LOL 😂🚓🚔
GGuest UserHotel is in Cardinal nation and right across a small street from the stadium. The hotel was clean and inviting. Room was spacious, comfy beds and clean. Bathroom was nice. No pool but exercise room faces the stadium. We didn't eat breakfast there as the prices were really high.
We had a large group of folks from out of town to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. We heard zero complaints from any of the guests! We reserved the Studio Commons and it was lovely! So much space and perfect for getting hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding. There was a great view of downtown from the huge window. There is a full kitchen and we fried up some bacon for our bloody marys. We ordered room service both mornings which included a huge pot of hot coffee an extra large jug of Tropicana orange juice with bagels, toast, and mini muffins. They also sent our own bowl of fresh fruit. Coming and going was easy with valet service. The Upbar had a club vibe for after the wedding. The courtyard gardens are beautiful and relaxing for more personal visits with friends and family. We worked with Robyn for all of our arrangements and she was awesome and very accommodating! We will definitely utilize the element in the future for our of town guests.
Stayed 1nt in a queen room #1001 on 10th floor with a coffee maker, individual controlled air con & also a ceiling fan in Aug & was very cool to sleep. Bathroom had a shower/tub combo with sliding doors. On the same floor is a pool table room & a reading room with tons of books, recliners, a piano & sheet music! On the 8th floor with the ice machine, snack vending machine & drink vending machine, there is also a microwave! The rooms don’t have one but you can go here to heat up your leftovers👍 Free shuttle to/from cardinals game; first departure 1 hr before game. Parking garage is $18 & is in & out. Bring ticket in for reception to validate. & it is Almost attached…just across a one way tiny street from the back entrance..didn’t see an elevator so park on 2nd level if possible(1st floor for “members”) We walked to & from cardinals game & it was quick, easy & safe. We would stay here again if the price was still much better than the other hotels in the area. Also: they have a water bottle refilling station in the lobby (sort of hidden across from check in by the coat check room)
LLori KayMy trip was OK until I got ready to check out. My vehicle has been sitting in front of the hotel lobby in everybody’s way for six hours. I left my keys with the valet service to go park my vehicle. No one knew where my car keys were at my vehicle had been moved over to the side. The staff was just avoiding me in the situation saying they would call me back and then they wouldn’t. It was time to check out I didn’t want to have to pay for another night I was supposed to be at work I missed work. Finally the front desk called me they had found my keys they did not tell me where. They took the parking charge off of my bill and that was it. I really thought they should wave they charge for my entire stay I missed a days work almost lost my job and went through countless hours of stress because that’s the only set of keys I had. I’m not so sure someone didn’t take my jeep somewhere all night and bring it back early in the morning. I don’t see how I could’ve sat in that spot all night long in everyone’s way without someone getting a hold of me. There is a half a tank a gas gone and I’m not sure about the mileage. I think I deserve a refund for my stay personally
GGuest UserMy boyfriend and I had the opportunity to stay at The Last Hotel at the last minute for a concert in town this weekend. From the check-in to the valet parking option to our deluxe king room on the 9th floor, our overall experience at this hotel has been truly above and beyond. Our room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully designed and very clean. The beds and linens are of top notch quality and no expense has been spared in ensuring the comfort of the guest. Furthermore the hotel staff were all very friendly, professional, and accommodating if we had any questions or needed help with anything. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The final selling point of this hotel is that there is a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely sunny 71° afternoon up on this private rooftop area that is only open to hotel guests. If you are truly on the fence about staying here or the splurge, I cannot recommend this place enough. It will not disappoint! We plan to make this our designated hotel for all future stays. Thank you at The Last Hotel!
GGuest UserLocation was good 20 mins from downtown St. Louis. The lobby is pretty and was very clean. The pool is nice but I would stay away from the hot tub as it seemed to have a layer of dead skin floating at the top of it. The room itself is really nice and very clean it is a great stay for family or a solo get away the rooms look exactly like they do in the photos.
GGuest UserExcept for the location, which is a bit biased, everything is good, breakfast is rich, there is a free shuttle bus within three kilometers, the room is comfortable, the kitchen is complete, and the use is convenient, all in all very satisfactory.
GGuest UserTwo of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.
