Another lovely stay at Mansion House. After years of trying to find good accommodation in Scarborough, we're so glad that we found this charming place a few years ago. This was our 4th stay and it goes from strength to strength. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the linens and soft furnishings are top notch and the atmosphere is comfy. The ownership obviously takes great pride in their business and it shows. We have stayed at many other places in Scarborough including The Crown Hotel which is consistently named the top hotel in town but believe us, THE MANSION HOUSE IS THE BEST ACCOMMODATION IN SCARBOROUGH.

We had to travel to the UK from france for a funeral, the hotel we had stayed at before was closed but they recommended Mansion House WOW!!!! from the minute we arrived until we left we felt as if we had walked into a top London hotel….we we’re warmly greeted by the owner who helped us with our luggage and settled us into our room which was lovely and warm and comfortable…. after a comfortable nights sleep we went down for breakfastWow again so much selection and the cooked breakfast was absolutely amazing…they had kindly arranged for our bedroom to be cleaned etc while we had breakfast so that we had time to get changed to attend the funeral so very thoughtful. I made the chef laugh on the second morning by saying sorry chef it’s 11 out of 10 for breakfast again. We had 3 nights there and everything was spotlessly clean we just couldn’t find fault with anything….sadly we now have no family in Scarborough to visit but we will most certainly recommend Mansion House to our friends and family…..If we do ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay there again….thank you Jonathan, Helen,Mark and Sylvia plus the cleaner of our room and the breakfast staff for a truly wonderful stay at a sad time for us. Lovely Visit
Me, My wife and 4month old stayed for a couple of nights.
Very friendly and helpful welcome. Everything as you'd expect from the room and the baby cot was all setup for us.
Breakfast was amazing and would love to highlight the young lady who served us both mornings - brilliant service.
overall just a great visit and would stay again!

Very happy visitors
The Mansion House exceeds expectations. We were a family of 5 in one room and bathroom but the space was great. Staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was top notch, loads of variety. Lounge was really lovely and spacious, especially as we were all in one room.
