Hotel the Castle 2

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location is excellent, close to the places of interest, I encountered several issues that made the stay less comfortable than expected. First, the bathrobes were dusty and had hair from previous guests, which was unpleasant. The towels also didn’t feel fresh, with visible stains that gave the impression they hadn’t been properly washed. Second, evenings and nights were very noisy due to the bars downstairs hosting parties. The hotel does provide ear plugs, though they don't fully solve the problem. If you’re a light sleeper, this can be a serious drawback as the noise carries well into the night. On the positive side, the hotel offers on-the-house coffee, soft drinks, and snacks, which are a nice touch. Overall, the location and refreshments are definite highlights, but the cleanliness and noise issues require serious improvement before I could recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

The location wasn’t bad. It was close by a bunch of eateries and if you wanted to go out on the town, it’s a good spot. It is also not far from KSPO Dome which is the main reason I booked the room. Unfortunately, those are the only positives. The room I was given looked nothing like the images on the site. The place was dusty, which triggered my allergies. The towels and robes did not seem clean, I was so skeptical about whether I should use them. There was no turn down service, which was disappointing because every hotel room I’ve been in so far has had that. I would leave my room to go out for the day and come back with a fresh set of towels, a freshly made bed and replenished amenities. This place didn’t do that. And the only amenities was a tiny bar of soap. There wasn’t even a kettle in the room to boil water for the tea they left. The place just seemed more like a dingy motel than a hotel. I didn’t feel comfortable staying in that place at all. The staff were sweet, they smiled and greeted me. But honestly speaking, I wouldn’t stay there again.
