The hotel allowed me an early check-in.
After checking in, I used club tee time.
It was just a simple tea time.
I used the fitness center after tea time, but the center wasn't that big.
But it was good for exercising.
Happy hour didn't have a huge variety of food.
Each food was very delicious
It was really nice to drink unlimited alcohol while looking at the amazing view of the Han River.
The next morning, I ate at The Buffet and there were many different types of food.
When I asked the staff if I could sit by the window, they said it was full.
I was told that I couldn't sit down.
After a while, when I got a window seat, the staff said
I was really grateful that they remembered and changed me to a window seat right away.
So much so that I feel like this is really 5-star service.
The staff service was excellent
I want to use it often in the future

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. š» Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

Location is good, near to metro. Room and bed is very comfortable. Cleanliness is great.
However, some front desk staff are friendly some arenāt. One male staff who wearing spectacles (who can speaks mandarin) isnāt helpful at all. I had a hard time conversing with him in English. He spoke very little English and we were speaking on different wave length throughout the whole conversation. When I thought of switching languages and ask if he could speaks mandarin, he said no. Half and hour later, I saw him speaking mandarin to a Chinese guest fluently. What a joke?!
For luggages, only before check in they will keep for you. After check out, you need to look for lockers and pay for storage.

The hotel is just opened which make all the furnitures are all brand new. The concept is similar like japanese hotel which all basic necessities are well taken care. No need to worried about food as there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, 24 hours mart n also groceries stores nearby.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel PJ Myeongdong. The location is perfect for those who prefer to explore Seoul by feet or by using subway.
The staff was friendly and always helped with any issues we had.
The room was spacious and with the balcony, that was a huge plus for us personally. All the necessary things were there: slippers, teabags and drip coffee, hairdryer and etc.
Overall, we give it 10 out of 10 :)

My 80 year old father and I had a good stay at the Fairfield Marriott on our last night in Seoul. Check in was easy, the elevators are high tech detecting your room floor when you hold the key to the hub, but the rooms are small. There's a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but the bathroom is at the front of the room to include the door for entry. Essentially if you're on the toilet and your family/friend has left the room, you'd have to yell out to keep them from entering while on the throne. Not a big deal for overnight but for a longer stay that might be problematic. Also, said door is not quiet, so getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom requires you to make noise to slide the door closed. The room was otherwise nice. The bed was firm, the shower was good and had wash clothes. There's two hooks for hanging towels after you've used them which I think is golden. The breakfast buffet is just okay. There are plenty of food restaurants across the street from the hotel. We also had a Thai massage in that area. Oh, the slippers are really cheap, as seen in a pic... Lol.

In the middle of Hongdaeās nightlife, you are close to the action. Can be a bit loud on weekends, and I recommend getting rooms further from the bathroom to sleep in peace. Very close to a lot of cool vintage shops, small restaurants, bars and awesome cafĆ©s. Staff was nice and spoke English!

Overall it was a decent stay at the GM JS boutique especially for the price. Service and amenities were standard - staff were polite & hotel room had the basic amenities you needā¦thereās extra charge of 1000 KRW if you use the toiletries though, ie shampoo, toothbrush, etcā¦
One thing we noticed when we entered though was the smoke smell, perhaps it had something to do with ventilation or pipes.. it was gone the day after. It was also quite dusty so our all allergies were definitely triggered for the first few daysā¦ it would be great if the room could be cleaner as well, there were some blotches on the wall/cabinet.
In terms of location, itās near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bus & subway station, which was good. If youāre planning on going around tourist areas, ie Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam, area, the location is quite far though. When we tried to take taxis back to our accommodation, some refused as they say they donāt plan to go that farā¦
Size of the room was quite good, spacious enough for 2 people and open up your luggage. Thereās a study table with chair and a small coffee table with chair. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious with a smart toilet (seat is also heated) & bidet.
Would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly one & good for the price!

The environment of the hotel is probably good, and the environment of the hotel rooms is good. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and sometimes a little water flows out during the shower. The room space is large, and it is no problem to open a 75L. There are 2 sofa chairs to sit on. The hotel is surrounded by more tree space.
It's just that Guangming is relatively remote, and can be reached by KTX, airport bus, and subway. The pace of life throughout the day is slow, and it feels a bit like retirement life. If you are tired of playing in Seoul, you can experience retirement life in Li Guangming.
Please be careful when taking the Line 1 subway, as the subway schedules vary. Not all subway trains arrive at Guangming Station.
The surrounding stores close around 2130, so only convenience stores are open at night. There is a large department store nearby, Lotte Mall, which you can visit. Please pay attention to the store's business hours.

We loved our stay at the Urban-Est Hotel. Heading to the Waterbomb Festival for the weekend, the hotelās convenient location, just 20 minutes away by taxi, was perfect for our plans. The surrounding area was nicer than we expected, with plenty of cool restaurants and little shops to explore. The 7-11 on the main floor connected to the hotel was an added convenience. The lobby was very nice, and everything was exceptionally clean and spacious, even the hallways.
We stayed in a family suite, which was immaculate and well-appointed. The shower was spacious and luxurious, and the toilet had a bidet, adding to the comfort. While I prefer a softer bed and found the bed a bit firm, it didnāt detract much from our overall experience. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would book the Urban-Est Hotel again.

GGrace KuangylHotel is located near anguk station. Just a little 5mins walk from the hotel. very near insadong and many food places.
Below the main hotel there are some retail shops and restaurant & GS25(but it seems like the GS25 there is automated cashier or something because you cant jus go in as you wish). But there is another nearby GS25 jus a few abt 2 mins walk down on the way to subway.
Did not take the airport bus because I was rushing for time. Although the Hotel told me that it will be a 5mins walk, but I personally would not recommend if you have big large suitcases because you got to pass through humans as that area is pretty busy in the day. But it is still convenient if you want to take and a much cheaper option. (i would recommend if you take airport bus if you arrive late night)
Hotel room is big and clean & there is mountian view too! Never expect it from a city hotel. I requested for a high floor and was glad they accede to my request. However, I think i requested for a standing shower room too last minute, thus, they still assign me a bathtub room. But thats ok, I just make do with it. Basic amenities all provided (except disposable ones due to korea's law)
They are quite strict with check in time, but I manage to store my luggage at their lockers and did a wash up before heading out for lunch. So if you arrive early, do prepare some small travel cleanser or a fresh clothes in your bagpack so that you wont have to dig your luggage.
overall, im quite happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

GGuest UserThe location of the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel is great, 3 mins away from the subway and right at the spot of Myeongdong night market. The flagship Olive Young is almost like next door. The room is not spacious but efficient. I would definitely come back if visit Seoul.

First, it was disappointed to find out the shower gel dispenser is broken by ourselves when I was naked standing in the shower room. I would assume the staff should know the condition of the room. I wish the front desk informed me when I checked in and ask if I could accept it or not since I pay no less than others.
Second, the refrigerator has the smallest capacity Iāve ever seen.
Pros:
Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 luggage. Staff are nice. They smile and greet. Location is incredible, super convenient! Kinda quiet in a noisy neighborhood. The subway station is right under the building. Itās easy to reach to most of attractions and can go through to the airport without any transfer.
Money exchanging machine is available in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise thereās not much to do in this whole area as itās very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They donāt provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didnāt get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ābig-countryā tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You wonāt be believed this you canāt even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think itās really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, itās totally not worth it and we canāt avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crewsā attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. GGuest UserWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.

SSharnieItās smaller than I had imagined, husband couldnāt lift his arms properly in the tight shower booth. Fire alarm went off at 3am and the hotel worker looked busy checking for a fire himself. After alarm kept blaring for 20 mins my husband decided to call emergency, firefighters arrived within a few mins. Turned out to be a false alarm but it couldāve been over a lot quicker if the hotel worker called emergency first.

GGuest UserA very simple 3 star hotel very close to Seoul Station which is its main advantage.
Very small room gives you some Japanese vibes. That's also supported by the toilet. There was some USB socket broken, though it didn't deliver any problem.
If you're an individual that needs a one night stay in Seoul - the Manu Hotel is quite a good choice. Plenty of the shops and cafes in vicinity. Close to Namdaemun Market and the street. The Seoulista restaraunt or bar (I'd better call it a bar) - is ok for late dinner if you don't want to look for anything else.
Some reviewers wrote about homeless people on the way from Seoul station (right in front actually) to the hotel. Though I didn't find the ācleanā pass to the walkway (from the station) and had to encounter them, I don't see any problem - there's a police station right there. Had a small problem finding a way on top of the walkway as the lift is a bit hidden (but you have to be complete ***** not finding it).

Line card has no expiry date and you can use it for buses, subways , convenience shops.
There are restaurants nearby but we didnāt try any on this trip.
Note:
Most ( may be all?) Korea hotels donāt provide disposable toothbrushes for free anymore( government policy I read some where )

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as itās so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
