We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right around the corner from Nanjing Road and the central shopping area where you can walk down and hit the Bund or Wai Tan. I got upgraded to a suite, and it was lovely, very clean with a very comfortable bed. I used the gym as well, which is very important for me, they have a fantastic gym, with lots of space and new facilities! It is a well-run, very comfortable hotel, worth the stay.

Nice hotel with great service especially for foreigners that don’t speak Mandarin. High class. Heard the adjacent restaurant is great. Huge luxurious bathroom. Not the most modern decor but very nice. Only surprise was for a higher end place I couldn’t find any coffee or tea cups.

When I checked in, Starry was very kind. I asked for a late checkout and she gave it to me free of charge. I was also upgraded room free of charge which was very nice. I wasn’t overly sure on the amenities the hotel had (pool etc). The room was very clean with a lovely large bed. Good wifi, big TV, water in room, optional mini bar. I ordered some room service for lunch and it was very nice and came within a good time. All staff were very kind. I had a takeout delivered to the hotel and someone (I didn’t get her name) was very kind and helped me on her own phone to lick it up as I didn’t know how to do it. Would definitely stay again!

The metro was very very close walking (i guess less than 5 minutes walking). the staff was very friendly with me. They helped a lot because in this hotel the staff can speak english very good. The hostel exceeded my expectations. Could not relate to the bad reviews about permanent residents dirtying up the place. I didn't encounter any of them. But I did stay in winter, so maybe there were less people. The common area is huge and comfortable. There's a water dispenser in the common area, and also a large collection of beer and drinks. The room can be a little small, but it's sufficient. I've stayed in worse places. The locations is also perfect. Just a stone's throw away from Nanjing Road, and 5 min walk from People's Square station. I see no reason why I would not stay here again.

Just downstairs from Shanghai No. 1 Food Company, it’s the best choice for foodies. The location is good, with convenient transportation from north to south. The room was clean, the service was good, and all the requirements were met. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and the service staff will greet you when you meet in the corridor. Small but complete. Shanghainese are smart and sophisticated. The girls and boys at the front desk are very nice and very enthusiastic.

Great location, just out of People's square exit 9. The service and cleanliness is average. One thing we don't like is that there is no ramp for your heavy luggage at the hotel entrance. You need to lift up the luggage and walk on multiple steps before reaching the entrance.

Is another kind standard of China style hotel. What you needed from 5 stars Hotel in room all have, same same but different. Sharing elevator entrance in business building make the hotel look messy and cheap. Although price is slightly cheaper but not much compare to the hotel nearby. Room are noisy that you can hear sound from corridor or neighbours, when step in I saw a hearplugs on the table, then I understand why they put that there. I will not stay this hotel, if I back to shanghai again. Toilet never clean well left over stuffs, body foam never top up empty.

The location is perfect. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just downstairs. You can see two pieces of the three-piece set while sitting by the window. It only takes about twenty minutes to walk to the Bund with the kids. The breakfast buffet is very rich, the staff are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. The room was very spacious and I didn't hear any noise after staying there for three days.

The hotel is conveniently located and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are friendly, nice and helpful. Just 2 things that caused certain inconveniences. 1. The staff took away the bath mat and forgot to replace a new one. 2. The door could not be closed tightly in the shower room and water did leak out of the door. Overall stay is satisfactory and I will stay again.

The staff are really polite and helpful.The environment is peace and you can get a beautiful view of Suzhou river from the apartment . The location is in centre of city .The bund is just 1.7 km from here and nanjing Road is 900 m from here .I highly recommend to stay in this apartment if any one visiting Shanghai .The room is hygienic and clean .all basic facilities are available in the room . The price of room is cheaper as compared to hotel rooms which are very small in size . I would stay in this place again if I visit Shanghai again in future .😊
