Fengxian Development Zone
🇨🇳I planned to spend two days in Fengxian during the National Day holiday. I searched online and found that this Mulianzhuang Hotel was very close to Shanghai Fish, so I booked two nights. The check-in experience was very good, so I came to comment on it🤝🤝 🌿We arrived near noon, and at first I was worried that I couldn’t check in early. Unexpectedly, the front desk directly upgraded us to a parent-child suite, 70 square meters with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies, absolutely a surprise🎉The first thing you see when you enter the door is a children's bathroom, a mini version of the basin toilet and shower room, so cute, super suitable for kindergarten kids👦🏻👧🏻, my family has elementary school students, so I think it’s a little small 💕The hotel staff are very warm and hospitable, especially the two ladies at the front desk, Xiao Li and Xiao Yu. Seeing that I have two children, they gave me ice cream and National Day keychains. They treated me well😂The breakfast is quite popular, but there are all kinds of Chinese and Western food, fruit cakes, etc. There is also a coffee bar inside the lobby. There are discounts for guests staying in the hotel. I ordered two cups and they tasted good. ✅The last two photos are the guide map of Shanghai Fish. Friends who go there can get a copy in the hotel lobby. Although the route can be found on the mobile phone map, I think this map is more intuitive. Before departure, the children took the map and gestured which park to go to today and where to go tomorrow. The feeling of going out immediately came😋🥳

Hongqiao District
I booked a short stay to check it out as an option for a longer future stay. Stayed in a 1 bedroom Deluxe unit. Service - only problem was check-in : I arrived late, ~10pm, and there was no-one at the desk. No use calling, because the phone at the empty desk rang. After 20+ minutes, I found a paper and key card with my name. Just as I grabbed that, someone arrived. Location: fine if coming by taxi, especially convenient for Hongqiao. Not too bad from Line 2 Metro - can walk if no luggage, or short taxi. Plenty of coffee shops nearby, small restaurants too I guess (didn't try). Not sure if there is a supermarket in walking distance, didn't ask. Unit; very clean & spacious. The kitchen is only moderately equipped. Wifi fast & reliable. Good setup for working in the unit. Early morning noise on the construction (west?) Side of the building. Overall - pretty good option for an extended stay, would do myself if coming back.
