CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserThis time, we stayed at a guesthouse for our Disney trip, and they even provided a dedicated shuttle service to Disney. All we had to do was tell the front desk staff our departure time when checking in, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The room itself was very well-designed, with a clever wardrobe and thoughtful touches like hanging rods – little surprises everywhere! The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. Overall, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserHad a wonderful stay for 9 nights. The hotel is more like a homestay. The room was spacious, clean, cozy and incredibly modern. I was impressed by the AI tool and smart toilet. We enjoy soaking in the bathtub after a long day walk. The laundry self-service is available.
The staff was great, friendly, polite, attentive and interact with all guests. Thanks to the front desk staff to let us check-in early when the room is available. We also got a complimentary fruits and drinks after checking-in.
You must try their homemade loving breakfast both oriental and western breakfast are delicious. We love the supper red bean soup (sometimes with little tangyuan). Thanks to Ah Yi
The metro Line 9 (xiao nan meng) is about 10-15mins walk to Yushe hotel. Hotel is close to attractions like Yuyuan Garden, shanghai old street and shanghai chenghuan temple is about 10mins walk. Along the way, don’t miss the wall art paintings. The Bund is about 15mins walk. We went shopping at nanjinglu, head towards the bund direction. In the evening, we enjoy the illuminated skyline and the breeze. We try walking to Yuyuan Garden and shanghai old street. (Don’t miss the colourful lanterns and light-up) and back to the hotel. Recommendation to walk around the neighbourhood near YuShe hotel to experience their culture and local food.
Overall, excellent value for money and would stay again.

LLingmuxiThis time, I went on vacation to Chongming with a few friends and chose the Colorful Garden Terrace room at Dasu Holiday Villa (Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park)! It was truly amazing! I had to share it with everyone!
- Ambience: The spacious and bright space immediately puts you in a good mood. The decor is simple yet warm, with every detail perfectly thought out. The furniture is strategically arranged, creating a comfortable, non-crowded feel. But the most captivating aspect is the Colorful Garden. It's large and beautifully decorated, with a charming pavilion where you can soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy tea, and barbecue with friends. It's a truly relaxing experience. The garden is filled with a vibrant variety of flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels like living here year-round. In this picturesque setting, I felt completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. And this place is pet-friendly! Really pet-friendly! Our four dogs had a blast running around in the grass, chasing each other as if all our worries were forgotten.
- Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything, from the comfortable beds to the complete appliances. The hotel's thoughtful care was evident. Of course, my biggest favorite was the complete set of tableware and cookware, ensuring families with children could enjoy healthy meals during their stay! The beds were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the toiletries were high-quality. The room also featured smart technology, including a smart toilet, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable (haha). The large garden terrace has a dedicated barbecue, perfect for hosting a barbecue party with friends. The hotel also offers free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring worry-free transportation and internet access. Another point worth mentioning: Although the hotel is a villa, I was particularly pleased that there was only one parking space in the front yard, but it was enough for two SUVs! This was a very satisfying aspect for us.
- Service: From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt response to all my requests throughout my stay, I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to recommend nearby attractions and help with minor issues. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really enriched our vacation.
- Nearby attractions: The villa is located near the Dongtan Wetland Park, a migratory bird sanctuary, where you can admire a variety of rare birds and experience the wonders of nature. A bicycle park and an ecological park are also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Basketball enthusiasts can also enjoy the Yao Ming training base. The Smart Island Park and the Lanhai Golf Course are also nearby, catering to diverse leisure and entertainment needs.
This stay at Dasu Hotel was a near-perfect experience. 💯 The pups had a blast playing with their best friends all day! The environment, facilities, and service are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone. Definitely visit if you have the chance!

SSC-starting from check in it was already problematic
The officer asked for a deposit of RMB 500, we gave it in cash, she should have given us a receipt straight away, but she didn't, she insisted there was no receipt for the deposit, how stupid this hotel officer is, she never got an administration lesson, she was given money but didn't want to give a receipt, maybe the manager is also stupid and never gave an administration lesson
Secondly, the hotel staff is very unoriented towards customers, ignoring the customer's request for a room far from the elevator, instead she chose a room directly in front of the elevator, we had gone up and then had to go down again to ask for a change, I know that the request is based on availability, but this hotel is clearly not full at all, this is clearly the negligence of the hotel staff who lack education
Thirdly, the dust in this hotel is extraordinary, from the bed to the bathroom, even the air conditioning vents are spewing out dust.
The above incident erased all the advantages of this hotel, the service of hotels that cost more than half of this hotel is much better

We chose this hotel based on photos because we really wanted a place in authentic Chinese style. And this is exactly the one. It is incredibly beautiful both during the day and at night.
Check-in was quick and easy. Jamie Shen helped us with early check-in, told us about the hotel, and escorted us to our room. It was very nice that Jamie speaks excellent English — it made us feel calm and safe. Thank you so much to him.
The room was spacious, with both a shower and a bathtub, plus a small private balcony. The bed was the most comfortable one we’ve had — after long walks around the city, sleeping in it was pure pleasure.
In the bathroom there was bath salt, a dental kit, a hairbrush, and a hairdryer that worked very well and quickly. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and hot water was always available. One funny detail: the toilet makes a sound when you sit on it :)
The room also had bathrobes, slippers, an iron, and an ironing board. The blackout curtains block out light completely, so you can sleep peacefully even during the day — very convenient if you arrive in Shanghai during the daytime and need to recover from jet lag.
In the evening they brought us a special soup to help us fall asleep faster. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and amenities.
The hotel offers a free photoshoot in traditional Chinese dresses. They photographed us in the hotel’s beautiful locations using a professional camera. The photographer helped with poses and provided props. There are dresses of different styles and sizes, but the shoes are only up to European size 39 (one pair). My mom and I both tried it and really enjoyed it. We received the photos on the same day.
Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. There’s both Chinese cuisine (noodles, dumplings, various pickled vegetables) and Western options — omelettes made to order, pancakes, many desserts. On Saturday they served delicious ham. Fresh fruits were also available (from mango to pineapple), along with different types of tea and coffee. Everything was very tasty!
The hotel territory is beautiful, with very photogenic gardens. Just look at the hotel photos — words can’t describe it.
There is also an indoor pool and a gym. We didn’t use them, but took a quick look. For the pool you need a swimming cap (a regular shower cap won’t work). You can bring your own or buy one at the pool reception. Towels are provided, but no pool slippers.
The hotel is located 30–40 minutes by taxi from The Bund, but it didn’t bother us at all.

GGuest UserIt was a bit smaller than I expected. It was also in an alley, so it was a bit scary at night. However, the interior was clean, and the two air conditioners kept us cool. And most of all, the owner was so kind. 😭 I arrived early, but he let me check in and delayed my checkout by an hour.
I ordered fruit delivery early in the morning, and he contacted me about the wrong delivery and made sure it arrived correctly. Even though we were foreigners and couldn't communicate, he patiently guided us for over 10 minutes. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy some delicious fruit. 🥰🥰🥰
There's even a cat in front of the property. This is a place I'd love to stay again next time I'm in Shanghai. 😘

MM592134****Great stay! It's a 2km walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The owner was super friendly and even gave us cherry tomatoes every day. The cleaning staff tidied up daily, and food deliveries came right to our door, which was really convenient.
