"The hotel room itself is good and comfortable. The location is a big plus — there are plenty of food options just outside the hotel, and it’s very close to Yu Garden, which makes it great for walking around and exploring the area at night. One thing to note is that the reception is located on the 4th floor, which can be a bit confusing to find at first. It would be helpful to have a small reception or guidance desk on the ground floor. Additionally, the downstairs and lift areas don’t give a very welcoming vibe, which slightly affects the first impression. Overall, a decent stay with a very convenient location."

MM863179****From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were impressed by the staff's genuine warmth. They immediately offered to help with our luggage and kindly provided hot towels and tea. During check-in, they patiently answered all our questions with a constant smile, making us feel incredibly welcome.
The most delightful surprise was the fusion buffet breakfast – such a wide and tempting variety! They had everything from Chinese congee, noodles, buns, and fried dough sticks, to Western bread, bacon, and salads. Even the cartoon-shaped mini cakes, a hit with the kids, were thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and delicious. We were fueled up and ready for a full day at the theme park.
The hotel's kids' club is an absolute lifesaver for parents, packed with slides, building blocks, and picture books. After a fun-filled time, it was great to return to the room and enjoy a comfortable shower in the separate wet and dry bathroom. The complimentary bottled water in the room was also a nice touch. Overall, our experience was fantastic: excellent service, great food, and well-equipped facilities. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next Disneyland trip!
SSuoFlareI've never willingly given a hotel a perfect five-star rating, but this one deserves it. The location is absolutely fantastic, right above IFC and surrounded by major shopping malls. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Disney Store, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Bund.
Even though it's a 10-year-old hotel, you really have to stay here to understand just how incredibly well-maintained it is. The service is practically on-demand; they respond to almost any request incredibly quickly. While they don't automatically deliver takeout to your room, you can call concierge and they'll bring it up.
The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and everything tastes delicious. 'Variety' is relative, of course – it can't compare to places that specialize solely in breakfast, but it's very good nonetheless.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any family or friends who need a place to stay in Shanghai.

AAnonymous UserThe check-in process at this hotel took an exceptionally long time. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice an array of 'influencers' taking photos in the lobby cafe. To my surprise, when I went to the restroom, there was a pair of influencer bloggers squatting inside, aggressively taking pictures. I wondered if this was some kind of marketing strategy orchestrated by the hotel. It really left a bad impression.
The hotel lobby design, however, is elegantly chic. The room faced the main road, and the amenities were compact and refined, with a French-inspired decor. The regular prices are acceptable, but the year-end prices felt a bit overpriced. To top it off, there was a mistake with the final bill. Hotel staff called to inform me that their machine was faulty and my deposit was incorrectly charged as a consumption expense.

OOmoshiRokunThis hotel boasts a superb location in North Bund, offering unbeatable views of Lujiazui right outside the window. It's hard to believe the room facilities are ten years old, they're in such excellent condition. The round bathtub, in particular, easily accommodates an adult. Before arrival, the butler contacted me and informed me of the check-in time, yet I still had to wait over half an hour to check in, finally getting into the room around 4 PM. This isn't what I'd expect from a Banyan Tree property. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and you can order snacks at your table. What's fantastic is that it's served until 12 PM, making it perfect for a city vacation vibe!

XXiaoyang29Five-star recommendation! A perfect stay at Pullman Shanghai Jing An.
Choosing Pullman Jing An for my trip to Shanghai completely exceeded my expectations – it's truly a hidden gem! The location is absolutely unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk to Exit 5 of Shanghai Railway Station Metro, making it incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains or exploring the city. Getting to the Bund or Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street takes only about ten minutes by taxi, so transportation is a breeze.
The room was a genuine sanctuary of comfort. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning city views, and the bedding was so comfortable I never wanted to get up. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a rain shower, which was wonderfully refreshing after a long day.
The hotel facilities were impressive. The 20-meter heated pool on the 6th floor has fantastic natural light, and the fitness center is equipped with state-of-the-art machines. After a workout, a relaxing spa session melted away all my travel fatigue.
I have to commend the dining and service! The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with Chinese dim sum, Western pastries, hot dishes, and cold dishes all replenished promptly and fresh. The staff were consistently warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, the concierge proactively helped with luggage, and any requests were handled super quickly. It felt as comfortable as being at home. I highly recommend this hotel for both business travelers and tourists. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Shanghai!

AAnonymous UserEvery time I come for a staycation, the hotel lobby feels bright and comfortable, and the service is excellent. I'd especially like to commend a lovely lady from Malaysia named ”Evelyn.” She's not only beautiful but also very professional and well-mannered! As soon as I arrived, she had already reserved a room for me on the 19th floor. The room was comfortable and tidy, and the housekeeping staff was also fantastic. Every time they saw me return, they knew my preferences and would specially prepare extra items I needed in the room. It truly felt like home, very warm and inviting. The coffee and tea used in the room and lounge are also imported. As for the hotel's breakfast, its quality hasn't declined over the years; in fact, it's gone up a level! The variety is richer, and the taste is superb! The hotel also has many other facilities, including a Shanghai cuisine restaurant, a Western restaurant, and a Cantonese Chinese restaurant. There's also a gym. The hotel also has a very comfortable terrace, perfect for chatting and relaxing~ I highly recommend everyone come and experience it; you definitely won't be disappointed!
MM352091****The hotel is ideally located on the Shanghai Bund, offering excellent proximity to famous landmarks and stunning scenery. It's just a short walk to places like Waibaidu Bridge and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the Bund and the 'Pudong Three-Piece Suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers) from their windows, a truly breathtaking sight. Whether it's day or night, the hotel's prime location makes exploring and admiring Shanghai's beauty incredibly easy and convenient. The service quality is generally highly praised, with special recognition for the exclusive concierges, Coco, Kaly, and Eva, who are exceptional, professional, and enthusiastic.

FFEIFISHYThis was my first time staying at the Andaz, and Peter checked me in. He seemed like a real food enthusiast and confidently told me their breakfast was excellent, urging me to try it on my first visit. He was absolutely right! The breakfast quality was very high, with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. If you went a bit later, there was even a queue. I was very satisfied with my stay overall. Thanks for everything, Peter!

BBaishuimuThe hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation. The rooms are clean, and the lounge team provides excellent service. It was a very pleasant stay.
I booked this stay because my child had an exam and we needed a hotel close to the test center. I also specifically requested a quiet room, and the hotel was very accommodating. During our stay, the room was cleaned promptly, and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs.
The hotel's 38th-floor lounge is definitely worth a visit. It offers great views and timely, attentive service. The afternoon tea selection was also very good. The ambiance is elegant, making it perfect for a casual drink or a business meeting.
