- smoking smell inside the room, it did not come from outside the window. Front staff told me I did not specifically state that I wanted a non-smoking room and had to put up with the smell for several hours on our first day. It would be great if the hotel had an ozone machine to rid of smell from a smoking guest to make it better for the next guest.
- the air conditioner is an central system and in spring when the weather was 15-17 degrees it was too warm/hot. The window is too small, but luckily we were able to get 2 fans to help. If it was just a few degrees warmer it would had been very hot and stuffy in the room."

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

XXingzoudeziliaoshoujizheMercure hotels have always been great; they're one of Huazhu's more upscale brands, and quite comfortable. Overall, I think it's pretty good. The room was quiet enough, and the food was decent. Just a lot of foreigners, and their smell was a bit much to handle.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second time staying here. The location is very convenient, and the service is great. Even though it's a shared bathroom, the staff keeps it exceptionally clean! However, being a hostel, it can get a bit noisy; whether you get a good night's sleep really depends on your roommates. I'll definitely be back next time.

KKuailechuxing339This is an established hotel in Lujiazui, well-maintained with excellent service. They called me a day in advance and accommodated my request for an early check-in at 12 PM so my child could nap, which was fantastic! A definite thumbs-up. Our room faced the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui's iconic skyscrapers), and the light show on Shanghai Tower was beautiful.
After check-in, a foreign staff member (I forgot her name, but she was lovely) escorted us to our room and even gave my child crayons and a drawing book, which made her very happy. Before dinner at 5 PM, this wonderful staff member took us to the outdoor viewing deck on the 58th floor to enjoy the scenery. Lujiazui, the Huangpu River, and the Bund opposite, all bathed in the sunset glow, were dreamlike and poetic – truly breathtaking.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, both Chinese and Western, and the taste was superb. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while watching the Oriental Pearl Tower sparkle in the sunlight was such a joy. Even my 3-year-old said the hotel was beautiful and wants to come back again!

MmisstsuiThe weather and air quality were excellent, perfect for a trip to the Bund with my elderly parents. We already have a great impression of Germany, so a German-style hotel in Shanghai was a must-try! The front desk attendant, Miss Liu, was incredibly warm and polite. She even upgraded us to a south-facing family suite, which allowed me to work in the evenings without disturbing my family. The location is incredibly convenient, directly facing the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the City God Temple is within walking distance. The hotel breakfast was also exquisite and delicious; my parents were especially delighted and felt right at home. The hotel amenities and design, true to German style, are understated, high-end, practical, and minimalist – absolutely fantastic!

Rraymond WangI have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund! Special thanks to our dedicated concierge, Aaron Tom Brin. As soon as we stepped out of the car, he immediately helped us with our luggage. He also thoughtfully provided tips on the best photo spots and sightseeing routes along the Bund. When he found out we wanted to try local cuisine, he quickly helped us book a table at a popular old-school Shanghainese restaurant, which is usually incredibly hard to get into. His responses were super fast throughout, and the attention to detail was exceptional. We truly felt the warm and attentive service that a high-end hotel should offer✨

DDalijunchangsunwujiExtremely satisfied! The view goes without saying – a first-class river view. You can directly access the riverside for a run or drive right from the second floor. We extended our stay for another two days, and that was all thanks to the service. Especially one of the cleaning ladies on our floor; my child and family all agreed her cleaning was exceptionally good and very meticulous. When Angel found out we liked almond cookies, she even specially delivered some to our room. Cynthia also kept in touch via WeChat to follow up on my needs. A definite 5-star rating!

Seeing that I was injured, Karina took meticulous care of me throughout my stay, proactively offering help and thoughtful well-wishes, which made me feel incredibly at ease. Not only was the service impeccable, but her attitude was also incredibly gentle and considerate. I truly felt the W Hotel's emphasis and care for its guests. Highly recommend, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The bathroom style is certainly unique, but overall the room was clean and well-maintained. The hotel lobby was always busy, which just goes to show that the Andaz Xintiandi is still a classic and worthwhile place to stay. Special shoutout to Peter for being so responsive and attentive to guests' needs.
