Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately drawn to the stunning flower arrangement at the front desk – so stylish and clearly freshly changed that day, it really brought the whole space to life. The hotel's overall Art Deco style, with its geometric lines and brass accents, was a feast for the eyes everywhere, from the elevators to the hallways, and perfectly suited my taste. The cleaning staff were also incredibly friendly, always greeting me warmly, making me feel as comfortable as if I were staying at a friend's house.

Huaihai Road's Hidden Gem Hotel | Seriously Good, You Guys! Girls! I've found a hidden gem of a hotel, and I just can't help but shout about it! Can you believe it's only around 100+ RMB per person, right in the heart of Shanghai's Xuhui district? The location is absolutely perfect! It's a 2-minute walk from Changshu Road subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the attention to detail. A staff member proactively helped me with my luggage and even took it to my room, which made me feel very secure. The room has a fresh air system, so the air quality is excellent! The bedding is so soft I didn't want to get up, and the disposable toiletries are very complete. I especially want to highlight the bathroom. The automatic smart toilet even had a disinfection seal – a clean freak like me was absolutely thrilled! The shared bathrooms are also disinfected after each guest, sparkling clean. At night, I connected my Bluetooth headphones to watch TV; it was quiet and private, just perfect. There's even a laundry room with both a washing machine and a dryer, which is ideal for travelers! The hotel is called 'Yi Zhi Ning Meng Hotel (Shanghai Huaihai Road Branch),' located on the 18th floor of Yunhai Building, No. 1329 Huaihai Middle Road. Truly a high-value, little slice of happiness. This is my second time at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong, and the facilities are, as expected, top-notch. Since I have a flight to the UK in two days, I decided to spend both days fully enjoying the hotel experience. The concierge team thoughtfully prepared extra bottled water for me in advance, and also gifted me a little lion charm and a personalized room key. The handwritten card was a truly warm and sincere touch, showing they remembered details I had mentioned, and they even helped me with restaurant reservations. I also took the opportunity to experience the Ritz-Carlton spa. While the price might be a bit higher, the quality of service and the staff's attitude are absolutely impeccable.

I stayed at this hotel specifically to attend the international furniture exhibition. The location is excellent, very close to the exhibition hall, and I could walk there, which made attending the show incredibly convenient. A special thanks to the concierge staff for kindly assisting with receiving my deliveries, solving the problem of sending and receiving exhibition materials. The front desk service was attentive and meticulous; they proactively upgraded my room, and the service was thoughtful and spot-on. The room environment was comfortable, and the overall professional and warm service is highly recommended.

This stay was a truly wonderful surprise! ✨ First and foremost, the river view from the room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the curtains, the entire cityscape of Shanghai and the river view unfolded before my eyes. It was so beautiful, words can't even describe it. Meeting such staff during a trip truly leaves a lasting and excellent impression of a hotel. Also, the hotel's rooftop is definitely a must-visit! If you're staying here, don't miss the views from the rooftop. Standing there and looking at Shanghai's cityscape and the river view, the panoramic sight is truly breathtaking. It's beautiful during the day, and when the lights come on at night, it's a completely different atmosphere. The entire splendor of Shanghai is right before your eyes; it's truly, truly gorgeous. From the room view and hotel service to the overall experience, this stay left me extremely satisfied. Especially in a city like Shanghai, being able to have such a beautiful river view room, waking up to such a scene in the morning, and enjoying Shanghai's dazzling night view in the evening, is truly blissful. If you're traveling to Shanghai, I highly recommend staying here once! Whether you're on a romantic trip, traveling with friends, or simply looking for a place to truly enjoy Shanghai's urban scenery, this place is absolutely worth it. 💕

Stepping into this historic old building, walking along its corridors feels like traveling back a hundred years. The black and white marble floors and vintage columns showcase architectural beauty. Our dedicated concierge, Aaron Echole, meticulously explained the building's transformation from the Shanghai Club to the Dongfeng Hotel, making our stay much more than just a photo op. The room exuded a strong vintage vibe; with every breath, you could feel the unique modern charm of old Shanghai.

While the basic accommodation needs are met, there's definitely room for improvement in the details. In the mornings, there was often a loud banging noise from the corridor, which was quite disruptive and woke me up early, preventing a good night's sleep. The in-room facilities felt quite dated, and the bathroom waterproofing was inadequate; water would easily seep out during showers, making the floor slippery – a minor but present hazard. I hope the hotel considers renovating and upgrading the bathroom facilities and improving sound insulation between floors. On the positive side, the hotel's unique scenery and ambiance are big pluses. The lobby frequently features a resident band playing live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the common areas with their melodious tunes. The rooftop bar offers expansive views and an excellent sightseeing experience. The antique Rolls-Royce parked outside is a rare sight and makes for a stylish photo opportunity. Overall, it's a mixed bag of pros and cons.

Anyone booking the W for Qixi Festival is probably looking for that nightclub-style date vibe 🌝, and it definitely didn't disappoint! The room decor and lighting created such a great atmosphere. I asked the front desk for room number 10, and they accommodated my request. The view of the 'Three-Piece Set' (referring to the iconic skyline) at night was absolutely breathtaking – major thumbs up! I'd heard before that W's service wasn't great, but after experiencing it myself, I found it to be quite on point. Communication was smooth, and the staff's attitude was excellent. The restaurant food was delicious! I slept in the next morning and missed breakfast, and honestly, I feel like I lost a million bucks 🌝. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely come back given the chance.

Excellent stay at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed in the Deluxe Business Double Room, and it was huge, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom layout was especially impressive, with two sinks, a separate toilet, and separate shower facilities, which made it very convenient for a couple. My husband was particularly impressed with the room and said he would definitely like to stay at the same hotel again if we return to Shanghai. The hotel location is very convenient, and our room was clean and well maintained. The reception staff were polite, professional and helpful throughout our stay. The bell boys were also very helpful and attentive, always ready to assist us when needed. What impressed me most was the housekeeping team. The housekeepers were exceptionally warm, attentive and friendly. Whenever they saw us returning to our room, they would proactively check if we needed our room cleaned or required anything. They were always smiling and greeted us warmly whenever we met them. Their thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality made us feel very welcome. it is never an easy job to be a housekeeper tho. While the reception team was professional and courteous, the housekeepers added an extra personal warmth that made our stay especially pleasant and memorable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai. Excellent room, excellent service and wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai! My stay here was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located and offers great value for money. Staff members 12 and 16 were particularly excellent – their service attitude was superb, and they were very quick to resolve any issues. The room was spotless, the bathroom was odor-free, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the good soundproofing. The hotel's decor is lovely, and the overall environment is quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it!
