"Finally checked into the J Hotel, Shanghai Tower, the world's tallest hotel! The entire experience was perfect, and I especially recommend their newly launched 'Nightfall Ceremony' – it completely exceeded my expectations! My butler invited me to the observation area just in time for the 'blue hour'. The skyline transitioned from soft orange and pink to deep navy as the Nightfall Ceremony gently began, creating an incredibly atmospheric ambiance. Below, the winding Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Bund's historic buildings stretched out before me. Watching the lights along both banks slowly illuminate, as the entire city awakened beneath my feet, was a breathtaking sight that left me speechless. Our room offered stunning views, and the decor was filled with exquisite oriental jade aesthetics. The toiletries and bedding were top-notch, and Eve Xiang's service was both discreet and attentive. This exclusive 'Nightfall Ceremony in the Clouds' perfectly blends Shanghai's romance and luxury. You absolutely can't go wrong coming here; every photo turns out like a masterpiece. It's already been listed as my most unforgettable travel experience of the year!"

"Everyone talks about how great the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai is, so I had to experience it for myself. The hotel is quite upscale, but the facilities weren't amazing. What really stood out, though, was a particular front desk staff member who made me feel quite uncomfortable. While she provided all the necessary information and service, there was just something about her demeanor that was off – I can't quite pinpoint it, but it felt like she wasn't interested in helping me. It's been a while, so I don't remember her name..."

"This hotel is right on my doorstep, and I decided to try it out for my birthday. Before checking in, I wondered if the price was a bit high, but my prejudices were completely shattered after my stay. From the moment you step into the villa's courtyard, it evokes a sense of anticipation and comfort. The indoor temperature was just right, making it very comfortable. The villa is extremely well-maintained, with a decor that exudes an Old Shanghai charm. The cleanliness deserves a perfect score! As someone with mild OCD, this is the only place where I've been completely satisfied with the level of cleanliness. I'd heard some complaints about the shower and hot water timing, but for a villa with such an old-world feel, I found 1-2 minutes for the hot water to kick in perfectly acceptable. The water pressure in the shower was just right. The drain was a little slow, but the water didn't pool above my toes, so it wasn't an issue. All the complimentary amenities (except for the hairdryer) were quite refined. I don't understand why they still use an old-fashioned hairdryer – that's my only query. The bedding was comfortable, and the mattress provided excellent support, allowing me to have a wonderful night's sleep. They even delivered a birthday cake twice, which was a lovely touch. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied, and I'll definitely recommend this hotel as my top choice for friends or family visiting Shanghai in the future."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The reason I love Aman is because it offers more than just a hotel stay. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery of the trees and the profound meaning behind the Yangyun Heritage, which was created by someone a thousand years ago who strived to preserve them. It made me want to stay there indefinitely. ❤️ The outdoor bathtub in the room's courtyard felt charming even in the rainy weather, and the interior was clean and tidy. I especially appreciate the hospitality of Jeremy Wang and the smiles and kindness of the staff whenever we met. It made my stay very comfortable and relaxing! I highly recommend visiting the Le Wu restaurant. While many dishes are spicy, the spice isn't overpowering, making it enjoyable for Koreans. The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch, and the daily Chinese traditional culture and art classes at Nanshufang were fantastic – I particularly enjoyed the calligraphy session! There are also bikes available, which are great for exploring the park outside. I couldn't do all the activities, and 24 hours simply wasn't enough time. ㅠㅠ"

At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Shanghai hotel features parking on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling on business.

"Facilities: You can tell this hotel has some age to it, but it's very well-maintained. It has that old-school luxury feel, and I particularly liked the lobby with its grand crystal chandeliers. The room was incredibly spacious, with a walk-in closet, double sinks, and a bathtub – all the basics met and exceeded expectations. Being on a high floor, the view was fantastic; standing by the window, I felt like I was surveying the world, haha. Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene was very good. The only thing that could be improved is the bathrobes. It would be better if they came in sealed, disposable bags. Firstly, it would prevent dust, and secondly, it would feel much more hygienic; otherwise, I'd be a bit hesitant to wear them. The bathrobe material was also a bit rough. Service: The service is definitely the highlight and deserves the most praise. First, check-in was a comfortable seated experience; no 'standing in line' punishment while waiting, and there were plenty of seats in the waiting area. Also, upon check-in, we were assigned a 24-hour butler who provided free tea and drinks around the clock. That night, after a couple of drinks, I requested a hot milk. After messaging our butler, Rachel, it was delivered to the room very quickly – thumbs up! The next day at ADD for breakfast, the server noticed I had both porridge and noodles and, without me even realizing, brought me a ceramic spoon. That was incredibly thoughtful! I believe luxurious service should subtly permeate every little detail like this. This kind of experience also extended to calling housekeeping and them clearly knowing my surname – many five-star hotels struggle with this now. It truly feels like the SOP standards from an era of economic prosperity. Later that evening, on a whim, we went to the bar. The cocktails were well-made, and the Chinese resident singer was very entertaining, performing Chinese folk songs in a foreign-branded hotel. I had expected the usual, unidentifiable 'oohs and aahs' from foreign singers. The bar also had a magician, Edward, who brought the atmosphere to a climax; his close-up magic was amazing and left everyone gasping in awe. The bar manager, Max, was also very enthusiastic with his service. I'll definitely bring friends here again next time!"

The Fairmont brand consistently delivers standardized service. The concierge staff are well-versed in the hotel's century-old history and proactively share stories about the architecture. For special occasions like anniversaries or honeymoons, guests receive custom desserts and a handwritten card. Turndown service includes a small booklet on local history and culture. 24-hour room service, luggage assistance, and laundry services are all incredibly responsive. The Gold Lounge offers all-day refreshments, afternoon tea, and a light dinner menu for guests on the Gold Floor.

Five-star review! My stay at MGM Cotai this time was absolutely fantastic. The high-altitude river view offered a wide, open vista, and the room was quiet and comfortable with excellent amenities. Cici called me beforehand and learned it was my birthday, so she thoughtfully decorated the room for me. It was elegant and tasteful, not overly showy, just perfect. Her service was professional and attentive; she even reminded me to be careful about the heat before I went out. Communication throughout my stay was efficient and hassle-free. It was a truly memorable experience that combined a sense of occasion with ultimate comfort.

The hotel's location is truly exceptional, nestled by the Suzhou Creek on the North Bund, right next to the historic Waibaidu Bridge. It offers panoramic views of Lujiazui and the iconic Bund skyline. The hotel's understated Baroque luxury seamlessly blends with the neoclassical style of the Bund, exuding sophisticated elegance. The hotel lobby is a grand affair, featuring a massive crystal chandelier, soaring ceilings, and a majestic marble staircase. Adorned with captivating artworks and sculptures, it feels like an immersive art space – a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern sophistication. Every corner speaks of prestige and refinement. Our room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with exquisite design and meticulous attention to detail. Both the room's size and amenities were simply perfect. Breakfast is served on the second floor in the Western restaurant, which boasts expansive views. Every table offers a glimpse of the Suzhou Creek and the Bund, making it wonderfully comfortable and relaxing to enjoy breakfast by the window while watching the river. The only minor drawbacks were the slightly large gap under the shower door, which could lead to water spilling out if the showerhead was pointed incorrectly. Also, the buffet selection at breakfast wasn't particularly extensive, and there were limited bread options. However, the à la carte menu was quite good. Overall, our stay was very satisfying.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the city center, but it's perfect for those who appreciate peace and quality. There are many dining options nearby, offering plenty of choices, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Taikoo Li. The hotel is very new, and I particularly liked the decor in the public areas on each floor; the sunset view from the lounge in the afternoon is beautiful. The infinity pool's opening hours are a bit short; by the time the sun sets and it's no longer scorching, it's almost closing time. I wish it could stay open for an extra hour. Breakfast was a bit chaotic; there was no one to seat us, and the tableware wasn't cleared promptly, so it was hard to find a table at first. I hope they can improve this.

My family and I really loved the room's minimalist Scandinavian/Japanese style, with its natural wood and white tones. It's a welcome change from the 'nightclub' vibe of the W Hotel we stayed at before – I actually prefer this! The pillows are really soft and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent; I especially enjoyed sitting in the 1st-floor restaurant, watching the diverse crowd from all over the world pass by on Nanjing Road. Our room had a side window with a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which is exactly why I booked this room. As for cleanliness, it goes without saying for a hotel of this caliber. The overall atmosphere is fantastic, and the best part is that you can truly relax and be yourself. Lewis, a staff member, was very professional and provided excellent service. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, they offer complimentary valet parking for one car per room, which was quite convenient. When we picked up the car, a few staff members even mentioned they were from my hometown, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

Five-star review! Visited the architectural wonder of the world – the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland. My entire stay far exceeded expectations, with every detail meticulously handled. I have to give a special shout-out to my dedicated one-on-one butler, Alisa! We connected on WeChat, and she was incredibly responsive to every request. She even arranged a complimentary cake and desserts for our anniversary, and decorated the bed, showing such thoughtfulness and care. Coincidentally, she was the very butler my best friend recommended to me – talk about fate! I've already booked my next trip with her for next week, and she's helping me plan everything, even trying to save me some money, haha. Upon arrival this time, I opted for a paid upgrade to the Garnet Executive Scenic Room. Honestly, the price did sting a bit, but the room's view was absolutely unparalleled. The balcony offers direct views of the quarry cliff face and a panoramic view of the waterfall. During the day, you can admire the texture of the mine pit rocks, and at night, without even leaving your room, you can enjoy the breathtaking 'Shan Hai Jing' themed cliffside light show. The viewing angle is superb, and the ambiance is incredible. Every photo I took looked amazing, perfectly showcasing the unique architectural beauty 88 meters below ground.

An absolutely wonderful experience! **Facilities:** Even though it's an older hotel, I was initially worried the facilities might be outdated. But when I arrived, I realized there was no need to worry at all. The overall vibe is one of rich heritage and understated luxury, without feeling old-fashioned. I personally loved it. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent; I didn't notice any issues. **Environment:** Simply fantastic. The hotel boasts an excellent location with breathtaking views of both sides of the Bund right outside the window. You can directly access the North Bund promenade from the hotel's second floor, making it very convenient for a stroll. Breakfast is served until noon, allowing for a leisurely brunch, and the spread is extensive with good quality. The rooftop bar offers panoramic views of the Bund, though it's a bit warm this time of year. The room layout is well-designed and comfortable, but I'm not sure if it's due to the age of the decor, as the floorboards are slightly warped.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, Susanna at reception greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, Amber was incredibly responsive and efficiently handled all our requests. The professional and genuine service from these three housekeepers truly stood out.
