CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

Right after checking in, the front desk staff, with a smile, handed me a welcome snack – fragrant popcorn, and even two extra bottles of drinks. This feeling of being valued was especially nice. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable and soft, and you could see the care in every detail. When you're traveling, the last thing you want is to be hungry or thirsty, and I never expected the hotel to have thought of these little things ahead of time. Although they were just small complimentary items, they perfectly reflect the warmth of their service. Next time I'm in this city, this will definitely still be my first choice!

GGuest UserWe booked for airport transfer from the hotel via we chat. They response very quickly. However the shuttle got problem on the way and could not make it to the airport but they informed us quickly and try to help in every way. The service and their responsibility are impressive. During our stay, the front and the bell are very helpful. They try to help for every request we ask. They cannot speak English but that was not the problem, with translation equipment, the communication is no more the problem.
The facilities are superb. Shower with good water flow, easily adjusted. I really love their shampoo with Sandalwood fragrance, good quality. We stay in zootopia room. The room was designed with nice details. The mattress and blanket are good quality. They even have massage chair at the lobby, very thoughtful for the long day at Disneyland.
The food are mostly Chinese way, but they have some selection for kids and foreigner. The fried vegetables are tasty, freshly from the family garden in front of the hotel. Our family enjoy the breakfast.
The location is good for the ones who would like to have a touch with local not the city. Many local restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. Easily access to Disneyland. Their Disney shuttle system via we chat is very effective. I picked this hotel because they provide many rounds of Disney transfers. And even we pick other time, taxi is just 18-20 yuan, 10 min away. The hotel is quite far away from Shanghai city 1+ hours by taxi. But it is in the middle between city and Shanghai astronomy museum, which suits us well.

LLorène LabordeI stayed at the Dayin International Hostel during two trips to Shanghai, and I truly loved my experience both times. The staff is welcoming (Lu, Qi, Zhang), and I met wonderful travelers from all around the world. The rooms are spacious enough, comfortable, and equipped with lockers. There’s also the option to buy drinks, and excellent films are shown in the evenings.
The bathrooms are always clean, and despite its central location, the hostel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere - I slept very well. It’s also conveniently located near the subway and several supermarkets.
I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Shanghai.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and beautiful, very clean, and well-equipped. The washing machine, especially its wash and dry function, was incredibly practical. The breakfast was outstanding, with five or six different noodle options, plus prawns, yogurt, tofu pudding, and so much more – the variety was truly impressive. The front desk service was also excellent; both the young men and women at the reception and the security guards were very welcoming.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even the cleaning aunties were welcoming. As soon as I checked in, they told me to let them know if I needed anything.
The room itself was great. Even though our room didn't have a window, they had the AC running to air it out, so we didn't detect any smoke or other unpleasant smells upon arrival.
All the complimentary toiletries were provided and were of very good quality. The bathroom had a proper wet/dry separation, and the showerhead looked almost new. The water temperature and pressure were excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. The pillows on the bed were fantastic; I found them to be just the right firmness. I usually take a while to fall asleep, but these pillows made for a really comfortable night's rest.
Before I checked out, the front desk even gave me tissues and water! The service here is truly impressive.
I don't typically book very expensive hotels when I travel, usually sticking to around 300 RMB. For that price, I'd say this place offers value comparable to Vienna Hotels.
It's definitely close to the Bund, about a kilometer away, and there's a bus stop and subway station around 400 meters from the hotel.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the staff's warmth. From actively helping with luggage and patiently explaining check-in procedures to promptly responding to any requests during my stay, everyone was always smiling and friendly. There was no hint of perfunctoriness; it felt genuinely warm and attentive. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly professional, and their attention to detail was exceptional.
The room's cleanliness was particularly surprising. The floors and surfaces were spotless, the bed was neatly made, toiletries were arranged perfectly, and the bathroom had no water stains or odors—every corner was impeccably clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, which immediately put my mind at ease; I had no worries about hygiene at all and felt completely secure during my stay.
Most importantly, the value for money is outstanding. With such excellent service and cleanliness, the price was incredibly affordable. Compared to other hotels in the same category, whether it's the room type, facilities, or amenities, this place far surpasses them for the price. It's the perfect choice for travel and accommodation. To enjoy such a great stay experience for so little money is truly a bargain.
Overall, my entire stay was comfortable and hassle-free. It's suitable for both short trips and longer stays. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first next time I'm in the area. I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

LlzywldGot a free upgrade to a family room, and the window faced directly opposite the China Christian Council. For Shanghai, where every inch is gold, the room wasn't huge but it was practical. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. Nanjing Road, the Bund, and the subway station are all very close, and it's practically on your doorstep if you want to get up early and explore the historic Bund buildings.

The hotel's location is simply unbeatable—it's incredibly close to many downtown Shanghai attractions, including the Bund, ***, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. I loved this area so much that I extended my stay by another five days!
