Our self-drive trip to Shaoxing was made even better by our stay at the Dingxiang Garden Hotel, which truly exceeded our expectations. It's a hidden gem perfectly tailored for travelers exploring by car. The location is ideal, right next to the Kuaiji Mountain Resort and close to the expressway, making it super convenient to arrive by car. The hotel offers its own free parking with plenty of spaces, even for larger vehicles, saving you the hassle of searching for parking. The overall ambiance is like a secret garden retreat. The Jiangnan-style courtyard, with its white walls and dark tiles, is built alongside a lake. The courtyards are full of lush flowers and plants, with winding paths, and the air is fresh – a truly tranquil and healing escape from the hustle and bustle. The guest rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Driving to all the main attractions takes only about ten minutes, making for a very comfortable pace for sightseeing. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and friends traveling by car. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Shaoxing.

Nestled in a thousand-year-old village at the foot of Kuaiji Mountain, by the Yu River, Shaoxing Dayu Kaiyuan Guantang's two-bedroom garden-view family villa brings the poetic charm of Jiangnan waterside life right into your vacation. ✨ The entire villa is artfully arranged according to the ancient village's layout, with white walls, dark gray tiles, and upturned eaves. The wooden beams and pillars still retain the raw, textural warmth of the old village. The first floor features a bright living room connected to a small courtyard. The courtyard, paved with flagstones in the corner, has clumps of bamboo and banana plants. You can brew a pot of Shaoxing Longjing tea and comfortably relax all afternoon. The breeze blows through, carrying the damp scent of grass and trees, slowing down even your breathing. Following the wooden stairs, the second floor quietly holds two independent bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The solid wood furniture, paired with New Chinese soft furnishings, creates an antique charm without sacrificing modern comfort, ensuring everyone in the family enjoys their stay. The most captivating moment is when you open the window – nearby, you see the lush green of various courtyards, and looking up, you can gaze upon the verdant peaks of Kuaiji Mountain. Morning mist drifts over the dark mountain ridges, and in the evening, returning birds flutter their wings past the treetops. Even the light and shadow carry the unique softness of Jiangnan. After nightfall, the ancient village becomes especially tranquil, with only the low hum of insects circling the window frames. Completely removed from the city's hustle and bustle, you sleep exceptionally soundly. Breakfast was plentiful; the fermented bean curd was simply divine!

Just wonderful: wonderfully designed hotel, wonderful room with a wonderful view, wonderful breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, wonderful staff everywhere, located adjacent to the wonderful Kuaiji Hill Golf Course/Club which makes a stay at this hotel in combination with golf an exceptional experience, wonderful surroundings with a small beach, jogging routes…

The hotel, a beautifully restored Ming and Qing Dynasty Huizhou-style complex, offers a tranquil and elegant atmosphere with picturesque views at every turn. The guest rooms have an antique charm, though the bedding is a bit firm and not very comfortable, and the shower in my room was broken. Service was quite average; despite having butler service, it wasn't very attentive. I had made a reservation for the restaurant in advance, only to be told upon arrival that there was no booking. However, the hotel's shuttle service is very convenient. The breakfast quality was excellent, but the food at the hotel's Shenlu Chinese restaurant was mediocre, with many dishes having a strong fishy taste. The hotel offers many activities, including guided tours of the ancient architecture, hiking trails, and intangible cultural heritage workshops. The travel photography service was excellent, producing great photos. The surrounding environment is lovely, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. Overall, I'd say it's a hotel with average value for money.

The hotel is very close to the Xianglu Peak. There are very few people who go to New Year's Eve. The environment is very good and the air is fresh. The hotel room is clean and tidy, the service is good, the breakfast is many, and the taste is OK. If you rush to Xianglu Peak on the first day of the new year, it is very convenient to stay at the hotel for one night. There are many parking spaces inside the hotel and it is convenient to travel by car. There are not many places to eat around, so you have to drive to nearby shopping malls or streets to eat.

I recently booked the New Century Grand Hotel through Ctrip for my trip to Shaoxing, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The hotel just opened in 2024, so the facilities are brand new. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with even the standard rooms starting at 50 square meters. The new Chinese-style decor feels very high-quality. The location is also super convenient; the Meishan Square subway station is right downstairs, and it's just a few stops to Lu Xun's former residence, making sightseeing a breeze. Plus, it's not in a noisy downtown area, so it's very quiet. The service deserves special praise. Even before check-in, a service manager proactively added me on WeChat to communicate my needs, register my license plate, and help reserve a room. The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth. The housekeeping was spotless and thorough, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast and dining options really highlighted Shaoxing's local flavors. I got to try authentic 'one city, one flavor' dishes, including local snacks like preserved vegetable pancakes and steamed buns. The braised duck and Shaoxing three delicacies also have a great reputation. Jinghu Wetland Park is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which was lovely for a post-dinner stroll. All in all, it's a fantastic value for money choice for a trip to Shaoxing.

The room was spacious and bright with good soundproofing, so I slept very well. The hotel environment is elegant, and the toiletries are complete. A perfect experience! The facilities are comprehensive, offering great value for money, and the service was gentle and meticulous. The hygiene was excellent. I highly recommend it! I originally booked for two days, but due to a typhoon, I had to leave a day early. The Ctrip app was incredibly difficult to use, but the front desk staff patiently helped me modify my order. There's an indoor half-court basketball court and a gym, which you can use freely. I was prepared to play basketball if I couldn't go out – definitely the top choice for any basketball boy!

My stay at Yunhe Yebo far exceeded expectations. The hotel's new Chinese-style decor is simple yet elegant, and the lobby is clean and refined. The room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with stable hot water. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The hotel has many highlights, such as the convenient scheduled shuttle service and the rich variety of options at the breakfast buffet. They also offer thoughtful services like free laundry and robot delivery. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and friendly, with staff who were humble and attentive. We even received complimentary welcome snacks upon arrival, making it a heartwarming experience in every detail. Overall, the value for money is superb, making it suitable for both family trips and short getaways. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel environment is very good. Jinghu Wetland Park is nearby. The room is spacious and well-equipped. It is convenient to use. The front desk service is very thoughtful. Although I arrived at the hotel very late, the reception staff was still very enthusiastic. The lunch I had in the hotel tasted good and the price was reasonable. I will come again when I travel on business in the future.
