My stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful. I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge. The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day. The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night. The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre. In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language. I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

If you're visiting Huangshan and looking for a hostel, this is a great choice. You can see Huangshan Mountain from the backyard. Head out the door, and a short walk straight ahead will take you to the South Gate of Huangshan and the Xiaoyaoyou transfer station, where you can queue directly for the buses to Yuping or Yunguxi Cableways. They also have printed Huangshan maps available. The hostess is lovely and provides excellent service. You can also arrange car rides through her. I stayed here for two nights and met a British guy and an Italian girl. It was a joy to use my broken English to tell them about ways to explore Huangshan and answer their questions.

This hostel is perfectly located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The cleanliness is top-notch; the room was spotless and well-equipped, and the bed was so comfortable and quiet, I slept like a log. They even provide complimentary disposable towels and toiletries. The owner is amazing – so friendly and warm, just like a friend! They patiently answered all my questions, helped me plan my itinerary to avoid common tourist traps, and even recommended fantastic restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

The room was very clean and bright. The two staff members (a brother and sister) were also very kind. The hotel's environment is excellent, and you can even have meals and take pictures there – it's absolutely fantastic! If I get the chance to visit Huangshan again, I'll definitely stay here.

First, the room was very clean, with excellent hygiene. Second, the owner's smiling face greeted my arrival the moment my friend and I arrived. From the time we went out to play until we checked out, he remained smiling, a truly welcoming experience. Third, the service was incredibly thoughtful. I drive a new energy electric vehicle, and when I went to look for a charging station that evening, the only one left was broken. Even though the owner's shop was still full of customers that evening, he still rode his electric scooter to find us. Fourth, the view from the window was much better than inside the scenic area. I personally prefer a wide-open view. The view from the owner's room was unparalleled. Excellent! Excellent! It was a fantastic experience. Thank you, everyone.

The staff were very kind and courteous throughout our stay. They even gave us a small snack as we were leaving, helped us with our suitcases, and really made the place feel welcoming and homey. One of the highlights was how helpful they were with transportation; they drove us to the bus station that takes you up to the mountains and when we were leaving the hotel to return home they arranged a taxi service for us at 35¥ per person, which was extremely convenient. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room warm during the cold weather. That said, there are a few things worth noting. If you’re particular about towels, it’s best to bring your own, as only disposable towels are provided. We were initially given the wrong room, but this was corrected quickly. The room itself looked much older than what’s shown on the website. Hot water takes a while to come through, and the bathroom tends to clog easily. The bedroom slippers provided are very thin paper ones, though they do also offer plastic open-toe slippers if you prefer those. Essentially, if you're on a budget here is great for you. There are a few other details I would have mentioned, but I didn’t take photos and I try to stay fact-based when writing reviews. Overall, the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff stood out the most during our stay.

The room was clean and tidy, and the owner and their family were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Huangshan. They even offer a valuable shuttle service, and the location is quite close to the North Station. The owner also provided helpful hiking tips!

N'hésitez pas à demander aux propriétaires pour organiser votre retour à la gare avec un taxi local. Cela vous coûtera moins cher que n'importe quel Didi. Le reste est classique et efficace. Grands lits, prises internationales, salle de bain avec tout le nécessaire. Et propriétaire joignable en cas de pépin. N'hésitez pas à prévenir si vous arrivez tardivement ! ENGLISH A family business, and it shows. The whole family is involved. Just a few minutes from the mountain buses, don't hesitate to chat with the managers to get all the information. Magnificent view of the mountains. I recommend the in-house restaurant for breakfast and a hot meal at the end of the day. Small grocery store on site, ideal for water before climbing the mountain. Don't hesitate to ask the owners to organize your return to the station by local taxi. It will cost you less than any Didi. The rest is classic and efficient. Large beds, international sockets, bathroom with everything you need. And owner reachable in case of a problem. Do not hesitate to let them know if you are arriving late !

I really liked the location of this hotel — it’s right in the center, with several tourist streets and direct access to the riverside promenade nearby! It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re only in the city for a couple of days and don’t want to waste time getting to the main attractions

It's a little far from Namdaemun, about ten minutes' drive, but the owner of the B&B is very nice, pick up and drop off. I arrived a day in advance and wanted to store my luggage up the mountain. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it
