LLui de PaulaExcellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning.
After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place.
The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well.
Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

TTravelAloneGoFastThe hostel is clean and quiet. I saw the owner and his family clean the place, even the stairs so I trust the cleanliness. There is a spacious common area with tables and chairs. The owner doesn’t speak English but we had no problem communicating through WeChat. The owner helped me with finding stores in town for supplies and trekking information about Gongga shan. He even texted some drivers to help me find a ride to the trail head. The location is quite close to the intercity bus stop so after your bus ride you can easily walk here. It’s a bit far from the city center but that allows you to walk the entire city to see the scenery. Overall highly recommended.

GGuest UserEveryone should stay at my homestay. It is definitely a good choice. Parking is also very convenient. In addition to the great attitude of the two little sisters at the front desk, they helped me carry my things as soon as I entered the door. I felt like a soldier returning home. I met the boss before checking out today and went home. It was very good. It snowed in Kangding last night. It was so cold that he helped me remove ice and snow from my car. I chatted with the boss for a long time and learned a lot of interesting things. It was very worthwhile. When I returned from the mountain yesterday, my child had a little altitude sickness. He gave us Coke and didn't want to go out. The homestay can also order dishes for dinner. I was afraid that we would not be full. The portion was very large and the taste was great. In a word, it was really very good. I recommend everyone to stay at their home. In the future, I will definitely stay at their home in Kangding when I travel to western Sichuan.

AAnqilailaThe room was nice, with a view of the Dadu River from the window, and it had underfloor heating. The receptionist was very helpful; she knew I was experiencing altitude sickness and recommended I buy Coke. I stayed for five or six days in a row. The cleaning staff was a bit frustrating; they knocked on my door precisely at midnight every day. Sometimes they weren't even fully awake, and communication was difficult.

XXiaokeaidemiaoyaI was specifically looking for a place that wasn't a B&B. When I saw the name, I thought it wasn't a B&B, but it happened to be. Go through a small alley and climb to the third floor. Their home is on this floor. The room was small but ”complete with everything”. I thought about staying there for one night, but then the sheets were dirty and I asked the boss to change them. However, the mattress underneath was also dirty and the pillow core was also dirty, but the boss said they would change it. A pillowcase would be nice…speechless! ...The only advantage is that it's close to Love Song Plaza... It's too late and I can't change places, so I have to make do with it!

GGuest UserAs soon as I stepped into this hotel in Kangding, I felt warm. The room is warmly decorated and has sufficient heating, which drives away the chill of the plateau. The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. The hotel also provides considerate measures to deal with altitude sickness, and the service is excellent. There are many dining options nearby and travel is convenient. Highly recommended to friends who come to Kangding!!!

GGuest UserIt's a garden hotel with its own huge parking lot. Behind it is Tagong Grassland. The hotel is located right in the middle of the street in Tagong Grassland town. There are many dining options and supermarkets at the door. It's simply the C position of Tagong Town. It takes five minutes to get to Tagong Temple and Tagong Grassland, and fifteen minutes by car to the popular Gunong Village and Muya Temple. In fact, you don't have to check in at Tagong Grassland. As long as you go out, there are grasslands and horseback riding everywhere. The weather in Yuzixi and Gediram is good to watch the sunset. But you have to resist the wind. If the wind blows, you have to bring painkillers. Be sure to bring a hat. Don't overestimate yourself. The wind on the plateau is very strong. Fortunately, the hotel provides oxygen machines and headache medicine, which is so loving.

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

GGuest UserSuch a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
