"#Hygiene: The guesthouse was very clean, including the courtyard; you can tell the owner takes good care of it. #Service: The owner was very welcoming and attentive, providing us with a map of the ancient city and recommending places to visit. #Location & Transportation: The guesthouse is located within the ancient city, near the Vanguard Bookstore, just a few minutes away. GGuest UserStaying four times in a row for three consecutive years, you can see the absolute affirmation of Minyue Xiaozhu! The location is excellent, one step away from the bustling ancient city; if you don't want to be too noisy, it is also very comfortable to bask in the sun, drink tea and chat in the yard. I want to move it, there is a table tennis table on the first floor, and the whole family likes it very much. By the way, the beautiful boss and family are very friendly, and the sugar water and rice cakes on the first day of the new year are very amazing!

GGuest UserThis is absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and bright. I booked two rooms for one night. The rooms have a smart home system and great hot and cold water pressure. Each room has a complimentary minibar and many thoughtful amenities. The hotel is located in the old town, in a superb location. The owners are warm and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

îŹîŹzhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous! The courtyard was so cozy; it was so relaxing to just sit there and daydream when I didn't have to go out. It's located in the old town, but not too close to the main road, so it was very quiet. I slept soundly every night for three nights! It's also very close to the main road of the old town â just a one-minute walk to the right after you leave. It's also very close to the popular Fan Ji Spicy Restaurant. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and they provided disposable toiletries. Since it's a guesthouse, the soundproofing isn't the best, but the manager thoughtfully provided earplugs. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

NNibbler IYou don't usually expect much from a hotel near a railway station, but this one's actually pretty decent and the owners are super welcoming. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a mahjong table and spent a good chunk of time playing card games. The room comes with TV, AC, hairdryer, few bottles of water, some tea, and toiletries. Keep in mind: all rooms have squat toilets. Still, for the price, I'm really happy with this stay

GGuest UserStayed in Xianyun Courtyard for a few days and liked the atmosphere here. The small courtyard is not big, but it is very carefully arranged, and every corner is full of life. There are flowers, tea, chatting people, and silent people in the yard. The rhythm is just right. It's not the kind of place where commercialization is very strong, it's more like a slow and quiet place to live. I chatted with a few guests, everyone was interesting and respected each other's space. In short, it was a place for me to relax, thank you for meeting.

The old house is as old as the old, the wooden floor is stepped on with a gentle sound, the continuous wood carving and brick carving are exquisite, and every detail is the charm of time precipitation. The homestay is simple and elegant, there is no extra decoration, there is no need to catch the itinerary here, no need to do a strategy, you need to enjoy the slow time, this healing and comfortable experience, let me stay for two nights and still reluctant to leave, I will definitely come again next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city landmark, Gongchen Gate. The pedestrian street at the entrance leads directly into the ancient city. The location is excellent. From the public area to the interior of the room, it is full of design sense and pleasing to the eye, which is very rare. The staff has a good service attitude and actively changed the view room when checking in.

GGuest UserNo toilet paper. Just thin tissues.
The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
