"The biggest surprise of my Weishan trip was the 'Xishe' guesthouse! The entire courtyard is charmingly antique, with a truly unique design where every step reveals a new beautiful view. Sunbathing on the wooden veranda upstairs was incredibly therapeutic. Not only is the environment stunning, but the hospitality is also exceptional. The landlady is warm, generous, and incredibly elegant. During our stay, she helped us with many small daily issues, making us feel like we were visiting old friends – so warm and thoughtful. Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady: while relaxing at the guesthouse, I heard her playing songs by Chang Chen-yue and Stefanie Sun! They're all my favorite artists, her taste is simply divine! Listening to my favorite tunes in such a beautiful courtyard truly set the perfect ambiance. Full recommendation, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Weishan!"

"If you have any questions during check-in, you can contact the guesthouse owner directly; they respond quite promptly. The room has disposable towels and bath towels, as well as a place to dry clothes. There's also a small potted plant. The location is near the city gate. When booking, be aware of SMS blocking; the guesthouse's phone number was blocked when I booked."

The boss is very good, he treated us to Weishan Three Teas and gave us grilled bait to eat"

"The overall feeling is good, but some small details show that the hotel is still far from star management. For example, the tissue paper used is very small, the kind used in cheap restaurants, and the paper provided in the bathroom comes in a small roll. Bottles for body wash and shampoo are very laborious to press. But drinking bottled water is free. The charging pile equipped in the hotel cannot be used and is just a decoration."

"Weishan is very nice, with few people, quiet and beautiful. This hotel is my "home" here. Everyone goes shopping, cooking and cleaning together like a university dormitory. Today you have hometown food, tomorrow he has hometown food! It's really great! And the room is very clean. If you need to put on the sheets, the boss can also do it. The female bathroom is also very clean. Many friends choose to stay here again when they come to Weishan for the second time. The location is excellent, and it is very convenient to go to the ancient city in a few minutes."

The beds in the room were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The windows were very soundproof, making it very quiet, and the fully automated voice control system was fantastic. Parking was right outside, making it great value for money. I'll definitely come back! Highly recommended!!!"

"The room is exactly the same as the picture. The wooden room is quite distinctive, but the soundproofing is extremely poor. There were cars coming and going all night, and I could hear the conversations next door. I didn't sleep well the whole night, but the hostess was very enthusiastic and actively coordinated various issues that needed to be resolved. The room was relatively clean, and there was no dirt in any corner. It didn't matter if I had a deep sleep. After all, the price was quite suitable."

"I've been to Yunnan four times, and Weishan is definitely a must-visit! It's so much better than Dali Old Town! This hotel is amazing! I'm extremely satisfied! Absolutely fantastic! The best value for money! Cheap, clean! Large parking lot with its own fast charging stations! Newly renovated, no odor, and the bedding was very clean! The garden on the first floor is also nice! It's 400 meters from the bookstore! You can have breakfast in the Old Town! Some of the must-eat dishes are also eaten by locals!"
