GGuest UserLocation: In the center of the ancient city, it is very convenient to go out to eat.
The boss will send breakfast coupons. You can choose three famous local breakfasts.
There is a coffee shop downstairs. It is quiet and hot water is sufficient.
The boss is very enthusiastic and will tell you where to go to play and where to buy things cheap
The first time I came to Lushan to live too far, this time it was just right.
You can drink the coffee of God's blessing when you go out.

DDuoqingnanfangyuI've been to Weishan many times and stayed in quite a few guesthouses, but this was the best experience I've had. Parking is available right in front of the hotel! The hotel's decor is grand and elegant, the rooms are spacious, and there's even a bay window where you can sunbathe, drink tea, or read. The service was attentive. Highly recommended!

HhiinaThank you for your hospitality during my two-night stay. You were incredibly kind and helpful, both when I arrived before check-in time and when I checked in again after exploring the ancient city. The owner patiently listened to my broken Chinese and spoke slowly and clearly using short phrases, so communication was never a problem.
The cleanliness and amenities were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. My room was near the entrance on the first floor, so I wondered if the noise of people coming and going at night might be a concern, but it wasn't a problem at all.
On the day of check-out, when I mentioned I would be leaving early in the morning, they told me to leave my room card at the counter and that the hotel entrance door would be open, so I could just leave.
However, when I left my room at 5 AM the next morning, the lights were on at the entrance and the door was clearly slightly ajar. I think they were being considerate because it was still dark. I left Weishan Ancient City with a warm feeling in my heart. Thank you very much.
I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

We really liked Weishan. It’s a beautiful ancient town — much less commercialized than many other places — with a charming and peaceful atmosphere.

The guesthouse is a traditional courtyard house with wooden buildings, exuding a classic charm. The courtyard is lush with flowers and trees, and there are several tea tables for relaxation, making it a truly pleasant place! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the owner was warm and patient.

GGuest UserThe bathroom was a bit cramped. We arrived at 4:30 PM, and the duvet cover hadn't even been put on yet. On the plus side, it was clean, which at least showed they diligently change and wash the duvet covers and sheets. The hotel has a parking lot, but it was quite full due to the number of guests. Luckily, we still found an empty spot when we arrived. It's also close to the Old Town; we just walked to Sifang Street and then turned the corner into the Old Town, which was very convenient.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

FFlash_MThis time I discovered a treasure B&B. The room layout is warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. The B&B's service is also very attentive. The host is warm and friendly, and any problems can be solved in time. They also provided thoughtful travel suggestions to make our trip smoother and more comfortable. The surrounding transportation is convenient. I will come again next time I have the opportunity! ! !

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
