Excellent boutique hotel. Room was incredible, bright & airy, clean & brand new with comfortable bed & thick soft towels. Great staff, special thank you to the woman at check in, so very kind & helpful. Located at quiet leafy new neighborhood at edge of town. There were a few restaurants & stores nearby. Old town about 15 minutes walk away. A nice park right behind the hotel (down the steps) Do note that breakfast is at an outside eatery, their offerings were minimal.

Location: In the heart of the ancient city, restaurants are right outside, very convenient to get around. The owner gives you breakfast vouchers, allowing you to choose from three famous local breakfast spots. There's a quiet coffee shop downstairs with plenty of hot water. The owner is very welcoming and will tell you where to go and where to buy things cheaply. The first time I visited Weishan, I stayed too far away, but this time it was perfect. I can get a cup of Tian Guan Ci Fu coffee right outside my door. See you in June! 👋 Amenities: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV are all great. Newly renovated.

The luckiest thing about this trip was to book this homestay! The door is instantly relieved of the fatigue of the road, the decoration is warm and stylish, and the real shots are better than the net map. Hygiene is the biggest plus item. The bathroom is dry, the bedding has a sunny smell, the floor is barefoot, and the toiletries are all available. The landlord was very caring throughout the whole process, sent detailed positioning in advance, waited patiently late, and actively recommended niche attractions and authentic restaurants. If you have any questions, you will be responsive in seconds. The surrounding travel is convenient, the environment is quiet and not noisy, the rest quality is very good, and the parking is convenient. The overall price is super high, no matter how couples travel, friends are very suitable, have collected the store, come back to the local must live, I really recommend it to everyone!

To escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel. The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV! Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market! Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan. We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries. The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

Recommended by family, it was indeed excellent. The guesthouse is right next to the ancient town, making it very convenient for exploring. The guesthouse is a traditional courtyard house with wooden buildings, exuding a classic charm. The courtyard is lush with flowers and trees, and there are several tea tables for relaxation, making it a truly pleasant place! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the owner was warm and patient.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; the overall value for money was outstanding, completely exceeding my expectations! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was very pleasant. I genuinely recommend it to everyone. Firstly, the hotel's service was impeccable. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, making the check-in process quick and straightforward. Whenever I had questions, the staff answered them meticulously, demonstrating excellent service awareness that made me feel very welcome and warm. The room had great natural light and excellent ventilation, so it never felt stuffy. The room was meticulously cleaned; the bed was soft and spotless, the bedding was dry and odor-free, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, was thoroughly cleaned, and came with complete and clean toiletries, which I felt very comfortable using. The room facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained, and the internet speed was stable and fast, perfect for streaming shows, working, or browsing videos without any lag. The lighting was well-arranged and moderately bright, with an overall minimalist yet elegant design, making for a very comfortable living experience. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, making for a very quiet stay. Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, making travel very convenient. The surrounding amenities are complete, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly easy. The overall value for money is definitely among the best in its price range, making it highly suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The entire stay was a perfect score; the attention to detail was exceptional, showing the hotel's dedicated management and quality service. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and will recommend it to my friends. It's truly worth staying!

I really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

The small courtyard is cozy and you can enjoy the sun all day long. The smell of sun-drenched sheets, and the most important thing is that the bathroom cannot be faulted. The hot water is big and hot, and the boss’s enthusiastic tips are helpful. When traveling in the off-season, choosing Courtyard No. 16 is unbeatable for less than 100 yuan.

I was hesitant to book this guesthouse when it opened at the end of September because there were no reviews and no pictures. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The courtyard was beautiful and clean. The owners seemed to be a family of three. The house was very well maintained, and the courtyard was cozy. I especially enjoyed watching TV on the balcony at night; it was incredibly relaxing. I stayed for two days, and on the second day, when I asked the owners to take out the trash, they cleaned and tidied the entire room. Breakfast was free at a noodle shop next door. Everything was excellent. The guesthouse also has loft suites, which are large and spacious. The other rooms I looked at each had their own unique charm. The price was cheap, especially considering it's located in the old town.

No toilet paper. Just thin tissues. The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service. You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.
