MM35434****The hotel's location on West Sandao Street, right next to Central Avenue, is incredibly convenient. You can step out and stroll directly along Central Avenue to reach Saint Sophia Cathedral and the Flood Control Monument. The hotel itself is clean, with a sophisticated and elegant design.
The room facilities are very new. After walking around in the freezing cold of Harbin, it was wonderful to come back to the room and take a hot shower with great water pressure – I warmed up instantly.
The hotel service was also excellent. Our booking originally included one breakfast, but the friendly front desk staff kindly gave us an extra one. They even had grilled cold noodles for breakfast, haha! When we left, they gave us a Harbin fridge magnet. Full marks for the service!

TTravellingmaudeSeine House was a warm and comfortable place to stay, especially after being out in the cold. The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly, and they went out of their way to prepare a vegetarian breakfast for us, which was much appreciated.
The rooms have a European Russian style decor with solid wooden furniture, giving the space a classic and cosy feel. The rooms were very clean with no noticeable dust, which made the stay even more comfortable. They are spacious, well heated, and felt like a real relief after long days outdoors. The bed was comfortable, there was a bathtub, and a humidifier was provided, which really helped with Harbin’s dry winter air.
The overall atmosphere is homey rather than hotel like. The location is very convenient, close to Central Street (Zhongyang Street) and Zhongshan Street, and also near the cable car that crosses the Songhua River to Sun Island.
It is worth noting that the hotel is officially non smoking throughout, but some guests did not follow the rules, and the smell occasionally drifted into the corridors and rooms. This was not due to the hotel’s policy, but rather guest behaviour.
Overall, Seine House offers spacious, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and a warm, character filled stay in a good Harbin location, with only minor discomfort caused by guests not observing the non smoking rules.

MM52655****This was my second stay at Orange Crystal during my Lesser Khingan Mountains road trip over the National Day holiday! I arrived quite late this time, and they thoughtfully upgraded my room!
The experience was great, breakfast was plentiful (the cabbage and pan-fried dumplings were delicious), and parking was convenient.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin.

MM57253****The absolute highlight of this hotel is its incredibly convenient location! The subway and direct shuttle buses are all nearby, and getting a taxi is quick and easy. It was especially great to take a direct shuttle from the Ice and Snow World back to Central Street, and then it was just a short walk back to the hotel.
Seriously, don't sacrifice convenience for a slightly larger room or subway access when choosing a hotel. In the freezing cold of Harbin, even a 10-minute walk can feel impossible. At least the roads around Central Street are cleared of snow and not slippery.
Next up, the service at this hotel is truly outstanding. The front desk staff are all super enthusiastic and always provide attentive service. There are also various snacks and fruits available 24/7 for guests to help themselves to.
Regarding soundproofing, the room type I stayed in was very quiet, with no noise at all. Although it was a bit small, it was perfectly sufficient for one person.

RremindofThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a one-minute walk to the subway entrance. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the mattress is very comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes and tastes great. There are many Northeastern specialties at breakfast, like Stir-fried Pork with Gravy (Liuroudun), Crispy Pork in Sweet and Sour Sauce (Guobaorou), Iron Pot Stew (Tieguaodun), and 'Killing Pig' Cuisine (Shazhucai), which saved us the hassle of finding a restaurant separately. Highly recommended! (The pictures don't match the review; I'm sharing some travel photos taken in Harbin.)

RRace: ChineseVery good experience. There's complimentary afternoon tea 2pm-4pm with cake and supper 9pm-10:30pm have porridge. I was given a free upgrade to deluxe twin room as I needed a room near to washer room and lift. The staff helps guest to carry luggage up to room and down the stairs when checking out. Staff also helps to carry luggage to taxi. It's just 5 mins walk (300m) away from 中央大街 and also 15 mins walk (1.1km). Breakfast is delicious and suitable for those who do not eat pork. I will come back here stay again next time when visiting harbin.

NNAI GAIThis hotel's location is truly excellent, right next to the high-speed train station! It couldn't be more convenient for getting to Yabuli. It's also near Central Street and popular photo spots like the church. The hotel staff are all very kind and patient! The hotel is incredibly clean! MM312603****We stayed here for a ski trip. Our butler contacted us a day in advance and picked us up as soon as we got off the high-speed train. We were able to check in around 10 AM, which I thought would be much later.
We had lunch on the hotel's first basement floor, and the food was exceptionally delicious and perfectly suited my Cantonese palate.
After skiing, we returned around 4 PM, and the butler brought us a humidifier and some fruit.
Any service we requested in the evening was delivered immediately after a phone call; the response time was incredible.
If it weren't for my teammate getting sick and needing to return to Harbin for treatment, we would have definitely stayed another night, especially since we still had a day trip to Snow Village planned.
When we left for the station, the butler even rode with us to see us off. They were so thoughtful and enthusiastic. Although the weather was cold, it warmed our hearts.

CCandou_This time in Harbin, I chose this hotel primarily for its location and reputation. My two-night stay was quite a 'rollercoaster' – some pleasant surprises, but also some frustrating moments.
There were many highlights that deserve praise:
1. **Thoughtful Room Design**: The decor was warm and stylish, a refreshing change from the usual cookie-cutter business hotels. The bathroom's wet/dry separation was excellent, and the Laifen hairdryer along with the wall-mounted handheld showerhead were definite plusses. It really showcased the hotel's taste and attention to detail.
2. **Breakfast was a pleasant surprise!**: The variety was abundant, and the coffee was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning. The restaurant service was also fantastic; staff were quick to clear plates, and the whole environment was very clean.
3. **Excellent Service in Public Areas**: The lobby offered complimentary hot water, tea, and coffee, plus shared washer/dryer machines, which was incredibly convenient for families with children.
However, the first day was quite a 'headache':
Upon arrival, we were immediately informed that the elevator was out of order. First, we were directed to find an elevator in a nearby mall, which we couldn't locate. Then, we were told to use a staircase. That staircase was dark and dilapidated. Carrying elderly family members, a child, and a pile of luggage, I grew increasingly anxious, especially since my phone had no signal and I couldn't reach the hotel by phone. Finally, after reaching the first floor, I managed to contact the hotel. Although the front desk promptly sent someone to assist and offered a gift as an apology, the whole process was incredibly stressful. Later that evening, we discovered the elevator was broken again...
In summary:
The hotel has excellent hardware; the breakfast and room details were impeccable. However, encountering continuous elevator malfunctions and misguidance on the first day significantly dampened our initial experience. I hope the hotel can prioritize equipment maintenance and optimize its emergency response procedures. If these issues can be addressed, it would undoubtedly be a five-star hotel that I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
