WWenawenayiUpon arrival, the security guard on the first floor helped me carry my luggage up to the 4th floor. After checking in, the staff member meticulously explained where the laundry room, co-working space, restrooms/showers, and drying area were located. This is my first time staying in a hostel where everything was explained so thoroughly – it was incredibly thoughtful! The room has its own private bathroom for washing up, using the toilet, and showering. The laundry facilities are separate for men and women, include a dryer, and are completely free – another first for me, staying in a hostel with free washing machines! The co-working space is huge, and they even offer free earplugs, drinks, candies, and small cookies. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

AakkljThe room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it. I would choose this place again next time I come to Harbin. It's very close to the attractions, and the bus station is just a two or three-minute walk away.

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

MM760246****Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

You can reach all attractions by subway, except for Harbin Pharmaceutical Group No. 6 Factory. The hygiene is outstanding; dorms are cleaned daily, and the rooms are spacious and warm with enough room for luggage and lockers with keys. The bedding is very comfortable, changed for each guest, and provided upon check-in. Complimentary disposable toiletries and towels are also offered. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about Harbin.

GGuest UserThis family-run guesthouse offers excellent service. The courtyard is beautifully decorated, and you can even see and pet white foxes and sika deer. The owners are incredibly kind and helped us plan our itinerary and book tickets. We managed to do everything we wanted in our three-day, two-night stay. The breakfast was simple, but the food ordered at the guesthouse was delicious. The rooms were lovely and clean, with underfloor heating and a traditional 'kang' bed. The free nightly activities were also a lot of fun, and Uncle Lao's guided tour of Wusong Ridge was absolutely fantastic and definitely worth it.

The price of this hotel is very affordable, but the service and facilities provided are not compromised at all. Although the room is not very big, it is very cozy and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi with a strong signal, allowing me to keep in touch with family and friends at any time. Moreover, the hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and considerate. In general, this hotel is very cost-effective and one of the most cost-effective hotels I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it to everyone!

IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.
