GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

GGuest UserThe room was spotless and clean, exceeding my expectations. I was worried about the cleanliness and basic amenities since the price was low, but it truly exceeded my expectations. The room even thoughtfully provided a humidifier and a weighing scale. The bathroom amenities were complete. I was initially concerned about the cleanliness of the table, chairs, and bedside table, so I wiped them all down with a wet wipe, but there wasn't a speck of dust. Also, although check-out was originally at 12 noon, I went out and wasn't back by then. I called the owner and said my suitcase was in the room, and the housekeeper could clean it, and I could come back later to retrieve it. The owner readily agreed.

PPiantan.I've stayed in so many hotels, but this one truly amazed me 😍! The room decor was cozy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and odorless. The staff were warm and attentive, and their responses were incredibly prompt. The location is also excellent, making getting around very convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit 👏.

GGuest UserLocated in the city center, the transportation and subway are very convenient, and it has its own small parking lot. The front desk is very enthusiastic and tells you what to do in Harbin. The sanitation is also good. It is convenient to eat. It is a very cost-effective and affordable small hotel.

WWuniansuifengIf you're driving, I'd recommend taking the exit at Songbei (unless you want to photograph the start of G1), even though it's further, it avoids most of the city traffic, reducing the chance of getting stuck. The hotel environment is top-notch, and parking isn't an issue. You check in at the South Gate reception, and the North Gate leads directly to the south entrance/exit of the Harbin Ice and Snow World, about a 10-minute walk depending on your pace. It's very close to the Ferris wheel and the big stage, and I believe it's not far from the subway station either. Cleanliness is a given and was excellent. The room facilities are comprehensive. When ordering takeout, be aware of potential delays; in my case, there were no delivery riders available. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or a common problem. During the Ice and Snow Festival, room prices double, but for convenience, it's an excellent choice.
Harbin Ice and Snow World Adult Ticket - Standard Price: I booked the tickets with my room, and it was significantly cheaper than buying them separately. Important: remember to select your time slot when booking!

Very nice and helpful people working in the hotel.
The room was clean and they are quite big.
The location is not central but it’s easy enough to go to the center, plus in the area there are plenary of restaurants.
They have a common kettle.
Negative:
If you book a room without private toilet, expect no shower and a hole in the ground as a toilet.
We had to upgrade the room for shower and toilet which makes it a little bit overpriced.

Seriously, I have to praise this hotel! The front desk lady was super nice, checked me in incredibly fast, and even proactively reminded me about the elevator's location – amazing attention to detail!
The room was even bigger than it looked in the pictures, and spotlessly clean. No dust on the desk or floor at all, and absolutely no weird smells. The bedding was super soft, and the soundproofing was incredible. I slept like a log; couldn't hear any outside noise.
The location is also super convenient, making getting around a breeze. Definitely not a bad stay at all, excellent value for money! I've already recommended it to my friends!

GGuest UserThe accommodation was very warm. Since it was cold, people just smoked in the common area. The bedding was only neatly made on the first floor, and the second floor was dirty,,, but the second floor was a little less noisy and more cozy. Towels were not provided, so you should bring them with you or buy them at the hostel for 5 yuan. Water is sold at the same price as convenience stores, so you don't have to go far. You can turn on the shower room light, so don't shower in the dark! The location of the accommodation was really great.
