2-Star Hotels in Lyon

Hotel Vabec is in a fantastic location, right by the river. It's very close to both bus and metro stations, and the surrounding area is quiet and feels very safe. Getting to various attractions and restaurants from the hotel is also incredibly convenient. The rooms are a bit small, but the overall vibe is very cozy. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and professional. My only minor regret is that there's no mini-fridge in the room, which makes it inconvenient for storing cold food, and there's no kettle either.

The third time in this hotel. It is minimalist in comfort (no teapots, refrigerators in the rooms), but very good location, friendly staff. The room is warm, clean, view from the window to beautiful houses. Around the shops and cafes, the metro is nearby.

The personal space were nice and clean but sometimes the neighbor bed might be disturbing in term of sound and smell. The aie inside were quite warm. Don't know if they open the heater or not. Worth the price but expect the bed when booking it

The youth hostel with excellent facilities, one on each floor of the public washroom, is very large, including the bathroom, the washstand and the toilet, separated by men and women. The kitchen is small but can be cooked and the peak period is expected to be very crowded. The bad place is too noisy! ! The garage is about 200 meter away ,on the same road but with shops in between.You get a code to open it .The garage didnt feel so safe even i f they said they had security cameras in it. Bed for two was tiny.And breakfast could have been a little more. For example no eggs.But location nice and nice service.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. The room is nice and clean. It has everything you need. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the metro.

Amazing view, but a bit of a trek if you walk up the hill on foot. The beds are super comfy, larger, and wider than usual. Had a very good nap after a long trip and before tackling the city by night and on foot: lively and safe. Toitels and shower rooms may benefit from a bit of TLC :) Will be back.
