Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location—well-appointed, refined, and quiet, facing a park. You can catch a bus right outside, making it very convenient to reach the train station and the city center.
The front desk and concierge services are very attentive and thoughtful. The hotel has a more classical style, and even the public restrooms are very clean. The room includes a separate kitchen, which is very convenient.
However, there are a few drawbacks:
1. The air conditioning is not in operation recently, so the room feels rather stuffy.
2. The size and comfort of the pillows may vary from person to person, but I personally didn’t find them very comfortable.
3. The large shower head has some water stains, hence slightly clogged, causing the water flow to be less smooth.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe same as other Tribes I have stayed at but a bit less good vibes. I was feeling unwell for the majority of my stay but I can still pick up on care and attention from staff when I am unwell in fact their probably ought to have been more. More function that funk! Likely not to stay again when in Lyon and to add, bad reviews are rare from me as you will see from my passed reviews. I didn't even feel like saying thank you. Very unlike me.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the new train station, and diagonally opposite is a large shopping mall with a Carrefour, which we found very convenient and safe. The only downside was that on the day we left, part of the airport express line was out of service, so we ended up paying for the airport express but taking a different transfer that took over an hour to get to the airport. However, this is not the hotel's fault. Overall, I highly recommend it; it offers great value for money. The snacks on the hotel's first floor were also quite good.

Great
AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient, right next to the train station with a direct airport express line. You can reach a large shopping mall just by crossing through the train station, and the biggest market is only about a fifteen-minute walk away.
The room was very clean, and a great feature was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, which made it easy for two people to get ready at the same time. However, the sofa bed was just a sofa and couldn't actually be used as a single bed for sleeping.
The bathroom had two small capsules, like coffee pods, that you could attach to the showerhead for different scents, which was pretty cool and unique.

Great
GGuest UserThis was my first time in Lyon. I had options between the 2nd and 5th arrondissements, but ultimately, I found the Fourviere Hotel to be a unique hotel. Having traveled extensively in Europe and been impressed by the quality of converted monasteries, I chose it.
Staying here was absolutely the right choice. It's conveniently located for visiting major attractions—just a tram ride away, or almost anything else is within walking distance. The hotel is also thoughtfully decorated, clean, and the bedding and toiletries are high-quality, reminiscent of a Harry Potter school.
The front desk staff were also very friendly and provided all the necessary information. We'd definitely stay here again if we were to visit Lyon again, and we highly recommend it to anyone who's struggling to decide!

CCecilia FrenchThis hôtel is over rated. The reception area is minuscule, the overall layout is complicated with multiple small corridors and more doors than I have ever seen! The cleanliness was ok but it was very dated in the room. I had to cover The bedside table with a towel iPad the wood was chipped. The cushions also do not seem to be changed between customers. The shower was ok but not amazing as the water temperature kept changing on its own (most likely when someone in another room was using hit water). The soap dispenser in the shower contained a good quality soap, but it was almost empty so I couldn’t use it on day 2. I wouldn’t stay there again.
The staff were however super helpful and friendly.

GGuest UserReally nice studio with get really excellent quality room, good spaces, enough essential facilities for cooking and drink. Nice location close to both metro station and kind staff. Be careful for their POS machine, you can just allowed to pay city tax in cash.

TThôleThe check-in process. I arrived at 10 PM and discovered it was impossible to access the property without first completing an online registration to get an access code. The most frustrating part was having to pay the city tax separately online before receiving this crucial code. Why isn't this tax included directly in the total price when booking online? It would avoid cumbersome steps on a smartphone in front of the door late at night, especially when the room is already paid for. Automation should simplify the customer's life, not add administrative hurdles in the middle of the night. I do not recommend this establishment if you're looking for a smooth experience.
