"The hotel was very accommodating. The reception was well organized, and the staff were professional and well behaved. I stayed on the seventh floor, and my window faced the main street, offering an amazing view. I really liked the color combinations and the overall layout of the hotel.
The bathroom was simple yet very well maintained. The shower was equipped with a water-saving system, which I appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a wonderful experience overall.
On the day of my departure, I paid €93 for transportation from the hotel to the airport. I recommend checking alternative transportation options in advance."

"Excellent hotel. The day cost $82. Booked less than a week.
The location is not central , but it is the final and the bus is holly.
Our windows were with a beautiful view on the river - thank you very much reception that went to the meeting and gave us a room with the view as we asked.
The number is small, but for one night the most.
Everything is clean and stylish. I liked hooks with hangers.
The transparent toilet is certainly scary !
In general - all well , all questions to designers.

"It is a not bad hotel, they provide welcome drinks and water fountain are very useful, the location is close to most of the tourist attractions. "Oda aşırı ufaktı. Dolap yoktu öyle açıkta 2 askı vardı. Fön makinesi, kettle, cam bardak vs… yoktu. Tekrar yazıyorum oda o kadar ufaktı ki bavul koyacak yer yoktu. Kahvaltıda minimum çeşit vardı.
Personnel sıcak ve ilgili idi. Resepsiyonun oraya sıcak su ve kahve poşetleri koymuşlardı. İsteyen bedava içebiliyordu. Semt kötü,tehlikeli değildi ama çok sakin, hiç kimsenin olmadığı bir yerdi.
Bir daha kalır mıyım? Hayır üç gece ufak odadan daraldım. Odada kettle ve fön makinası da önemli benim için.

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Charlemagne By HappyCulture in Lyon! Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with spacious rooms and a peaceful atmosphere — a real plus in the city center. The location is perfect: just steps away from the Perrache station, tram and metro stops, and within easy walking distance to the old town and the riverside. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they kindly allowed us to check in early at no extra cost. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a perfect base for exploring Lyon. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit!"

EEri_0113The hotel is very close to the station, so the access is excellent.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities, and I was very satisfied.
The staff at the reception were kind, and when they realized we were tourists, they kindly showed us recommended sightseeing spots and explained how to get around using a railway map.
The next day, a staff member who spoke Japanese assisted us, which made me very happy.
Thanks to this hotel, we truly enjoyed our stay in Lyon.
I would love to stay here again when I visit Lyon next time.

GGuest UserThis hotel is weird. The room is stayed in had a first and a second door. The first door looked like a service cupboard door. The room was tiny and while there was a nice big windows i guess it used to be a servant's room adjoining a master suite? Not sure, but it was definitely something else before. Anyway the room worked as a bedroom but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there long term other than for the breakfast that was excellent and in a gorgeous room. They also had these nice freshwater dispensers on each floor. The lifts are not coordinated but the art on the stairs made up for having to climb them. In all I would say it was like they had a lovely old building and didn't want to mess with its bones too much. However, in order to make it into a modern functioning hotel they had to make some changes, which then they did a bit sporadically and on the cheap.

GGuest UserThere is nothing in the room. You need to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels. The location is a bit strange. I left early the next morning and wanted to ask the hotel if they could pack bread. The attitude of the guy at the front desk was rather perfunctory. It was not my business and I had no idea. The advance payment was forcibly deducted and has not been returned yet. I am so scared!

GGuest UserWhat I like most about the hotel is that the towels are soft and the toiletries are also good! And the view at 6 o'clock in the morning! Because I don't know how to use the blackout curtains, I need to adjust them, and the curtains can't block out the light. I think the carpet is a bit old. Although there is no odor in the room, the corridor, door and carpet are all old styles. I didn't live very comfortably. Although the quilt and bed are very comfortable, I always feel a little gloomy. The waiter is very good! The minibar is free to use, and there is a 14-hour room service. It is not suitable for long-term stay.

GGuest UserNot a very easily accessible location, you need to climb uphill and there’s no shop/supermarket nearby, only one single convenience store. Twenty minute walk down slope to reach the more busier area that has shops and some tourist attractions. The bed was ok, pod with curtains so more privacy. Locker provided but need to self prepare lock and key. Toilets and bathrooms are separated, no queue. Shared kitchen has fridge, stove and cutleries but no coffee or tea provided. Common area is connected to kitchen, tatami style that requires you to take off your shoe. Paid washer, dryer and locker room available. The locker room was full when I checked out so the receptionist helped me keep my luggage at the front desk. First floor of the hotel is a restaurant, we couldn’t sit downstairs at night. Breakfast buffet was decent, but you need to go early.

It is a bit inconvenient to climb with a large suitcase, but you can see a good view in front of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the White Apple Square, and you can see interesting graffiti on the way. There is also a small kitchen in the single room, there are cooking tools, but I have not used it. There are several types of cheese for breakfast, and there are two types of presidential cards. If I go to Lyon again, I will choose to live here.
