This hotel offers a strategic location and decent accommodation at an excellent price point. Plenty of food places and shop around.
The staff are friendly, and the overall environment feels cozy and welcoming. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest. Water dispenser is provided, and roadside parking is available as well."

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups.
The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient.
Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot.
Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.
One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times.
Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

GGuest UserThe location was fine and the house was historical but we had two major issues with this place.
First, the water from the sink looked orange. So we were too scared to use it for washing let alone drinking. We had to rely on the provided bottled water.
Second, the toilet was outside of the room (we booked a garden room). So we had to sit in heat and mosquitos whenever we used the toilet.
Additionally, we didn't like that they insisted on paying the deposit which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or room information. We also had some communication issues when getting back the deposit after check out as the staff couldn't speak English and had to call another staff to understand what was going on.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent! Melaka isn't very big, and the attractions are all clustered together. It's only a fifteen-minute walk to Jonker Street. The restaurant downstairs at the hotel is also delicious and affordable. The hotel breakfast is quite varied too, the only downside is that you have to wait for a table when it's crowded.

ZZhongyang～NioThe room is small and has few facilities. Fortunately, I made a plan in advance and brought my own washing supplies.
The surrounding environment is indeed very simple. If you want to go to a more lively place, you should consider staying close to the central area. Eating is not convenient.
The rooftop open-air restaurant opens at 7pm and closes at 12pm. It has hamburger-like food and some drinks. The decoration is retro and a little rock. You can enjoy the night view and a moment of peace.
The most regrettable thing is that it is close to the sea, but you can't see the sea.

亚亚历山大1709the room on the 2 or 3 floor is really good. The room is very big and the bathroom as well. There a two superb things about the room: 1) the balcony 2) the location. There is a fridge, kattle, tea and coffee in the room. The desk is especially good if you like to write. Furthermore I like the lightning there, the light is nice and cozy. The Hotel has a really nice atmosphere, with an outside are for drinks and food.
You can get water, beer and a shuttle service for some extra costs. Unfortunately, the cleanes could be better. The sheets weren't very clean and the balcony was dirty. The TV wasn't working properly and there was no Wi-Fi in the room.
If you speak Mandarin you have definitely some advantages because the Hotel is Chinese-Malay ownd.
Overall I definitely recommend this place, because the location is so good and the room and balcony is so big. You can easily stay there a few days.
The staff is so friendly as well, you can sit with them having a talk or just enjoy the time.

GGuest UserI hope they provide a enough amenities like slippers, water bottle. Another thing the aircon is not working properly even though we set temp 16 its still hot as we dont feel like it was turned-on.
The location is great spot for guest as it was accessable and it was safe to go outside as well
The staft are hospitable

The location is great, just a short walk from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the night market, cafes, and famous attractions.
⏩ Great value for money, but cleanliness could have been better especially the towels, shared bathrooms. Just be mindful of slight noise from thin walls.
