Great
WW. JinHygiene: Very good.
Facilities: A mix of new and old, it's renovated, but just okay. No conditioner or lotion provided.
Service: Since we arrived from Singapore by cruise, we got to the hotel around 9 AM. We dropped off our luggage and went for a walk. It was incredibly hot, so by 12 PM, after sightseeing and eating, we returned to the hotel and asked if we could check in early. They refused... At around 1 PM, our little one really needed a nap, so we asked again and finally got a room. Sigh. Compliant with rules but not very empathetic. The service industry really needs a bit more human touch. The concierge, however, was excellent.
Environment: The swimming pool is clean, but it gets direct afternoon sun and closes exactly at 7 PM. Breakfast is good, but if you absolutely need Chinese food, you might consider skipping it and heading to the tea restaurant about 15 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, which is a better option. One side of the hotel faces the sea, and the other faces the Malacca River bay, both are nice views.

Hhelen_holidaysWe had a truly memorable stay at the Majestic Malacca. The ambiance was absolutely charming, reflecting a beautiful blend of heritage and comfort. Our room offered a serene retreat, and the service provided by the staff was consistently attentive and gracious. Dining at the hotel was a delightful experience, with exquisite flavors and presentation. We wholeheartedly recommend the Majestic Malacca for a wonderful and elegant getaway.

Ffootprints&MemoriesThe hotel is clean and smell really good. The room is spaciou and bed is good. We have good night rest. Shower pressure is good and bathroom size is just nice. The only complaint we have is the shower glass panels is too small and this cause the water splash out. room is well equipped with all emenities. They even provide red wine glasses, and plates in the rooms. What surprise me is they have a big cabinet that is with combination lock. This is a very good facility for whoever have big bag to keep safe.

CcargirlThe room was spacious and right by the Malacca River – opening the window to that view, wow, it was incredible! We could even dine on the balcony, which was so relaxing. The service was excellent; we received a welcome gift with ice balls and fruit upon check-in. It's also super close to all the Malacca attractions. The only thing was that the hotel staff only spoke English, so I had to stumble through my words. Luckily, my private driver and photographer helped me out. I really need to work on my English for next time, haha! We took some beautiful Nyonya costume photos here!

NNurul AlfaMy stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment I arrived, the experience felt seamless and well-curated. The hotel maintains an impressive standard of cleanliness — every corner reflects attention to detail and consistent upkeep, which immediately builds trust and comfort.
The location is highly strategic, making it convenient to access key areas in Melaka while still offering a sense of calm and privacy away from the busy streets.
What truly stood out was the level of service. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — not just trained, but naturally hospitable. It’s the kind of service that elevates a stay from good to memorable.
The amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, catering perfectly to both leisure and business travellers. Everything felt complete, nothing felt lacking.
Overall, this hotel delivers a balanced experience of comfort, quality, and reliability. A place I would confidently return to — and recommend without hesitation.

VVivien TThe hotel looks grand and the room is very spacious and clean. The view is great as I can see the city and sea partially. The bed and pillows are comfortable that helped me to sleep well😴 The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon check in, the staff will provide you with their specially made cookies which tasted delicious😁 The only problem is that walking to Jonker Street is not convenient and you need to drive or Grab there in a few minutes 😅

JJingguliangStaying at Holiday Inn Malacca's sea-view room and falling asleep to the sight of the Malacca Strait was my biggest wish for this trip, and I'm so grateful I finally got to experience my dream Malacca! Malacca's old town is quite small, and every day we took taxis to get around the same few streets. We also visited Ole-Ole Malacca, which is close to the hotel, and the market in front of Dataran Pahlawan. Every day we'd wake up naturally, enjoy the hotel breakfast, and then head out to explore. We tried coconut durian chicken rice and Nyonya cuisine. If we bought something in between, we'd just take a taxi back to the hotel to drop it off before going out again – it was simply delightful! The hotel is actually very close to the Straits Mosque; you can see it from the room, and it's just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The Red Square and Jonker Street are also within walking distance, but it's definitely more convenient to take a taxi if you're with elderly people or children!
We specifically chose to spend Chinese New Year's Eve with my parents in Malacca, and it truly was an unforgettable New Year! The Year of the Horse in Malacca – what an incredible serendipity! We watched the fireworks in Malacca on New Year's Eve, and on New Year's Day, we saw the hotel's high-pole lion dance. We even received a red envelope (lai see) and good wishes for prosperity from the hotel. Thank you, I've kept them as treasures! Malacca is indeed small, but I genuinely felt so much joy here! I will miss you, and thank you, Holiday Inn Malacca, for giving my parents and me such an unforgettable and joyful New Year.

AAprinotAmbience really good, very calming and nice. The room is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax. Iron was provided and everything was well-prepared. Location is convenient too, walking distance to Mahkota Parade (just cross the road) and Dataran Pahlawan with a connecting bridge at Level 3.
Parking per day after validate is RM5, but if have event can validate for RM3.
*Dont have the pic of the room, but here’s is the holding room if you ever want to hold an event at Hatten Hotel.

YyoumeiyouThis hotel just opened two months ago, right by the sea near Portuguese Settlement. I didn't have high expectations initially, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is backed by the ocean, and there's a clean, beautiful pool right in the courtyard. The breakfast was rich and clean – especially the bread, which clearly wasn't pre-made, and the fruit was super fresh. It felt much more genuine than some of the five-star hotels in downtown Kuala Lumpur! Even at 9 or 10 PM, you could still order food from the hotel restaurant, and the quality here was genuinely high compared to outside options. This morning, the hotel even had a lion dance performance, which added to the festive atmosphere. The hotel manager really pays attention to service details, which is absolutely essential for a great hotel. Having a fresh, high-quality breakfast in the morning is a wonderful start to the day, and you can even swim in the pool after coming back at night. A Grab taxi to Jonker Street is only about 8-10 RM away.
It's very quiet at night, with a gentle sea breeze and the pool. It reminded us of beautiful places we'd traveled to before and even brought back memories of my partner's hometown. Because of this, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more nights. Highly recommend everyone to stay here! (The only minor thing to note is that the air conditioning in the rooms can be a bit noisy. Hopefully, they can improve this. It gets quite warm at night, so you need the AC, and it would be great if it didn't blow directly on you.)
1) The room cleanliness and linens were excellent; the towels were tumble-dried, and the sheets were neatly ironed.
2) The staff were warm and friendly.
3) The environment was outstanding, quiet, and beautiful.
4) The breakfast was exquisite and clean. The chicken sausage was the only one with a normal texture among the seven or eight hotels we've stayed at in Malaysia. The à la carte restaurant didn't disappoint either; you could tell the watermelon juice was fresh (many places serve overnight juice).
Thank you to the hotel for their dedication, which made our vacation wonderful. If we ever return to Malacca, The Lisbon Malacca will definitely be our top choice.
