GGuest UserStarting with the refreshing welcome drink, everything was fantastic~! This is a highly recommended accommodation; it's clean, spacious, and convenient! The bathtub and large bathroom were perfect for our family of six. The air conditioning in the bunk beds was also cool and comfortable for sleeping. The entire building was beautiful and well-maintained, and everyone was friendly~!!

AAnonymous UserIt’s a spontaneous trip that we booked the room before we check google reviews. Yet we are aware of the different way of check in.
Apparently it’s under awanjiwa management of the *air-bnb* style of room which is the same hotel as The pines.
First,
If there is choice i may direct book frm the pines , we tried once under the shore & the swiss garden same thing yet also unforgettable trip 😅
I would say hotel charge the prices will assure give the best services maybe .
We consider lucky that awanjiwa person in charge is nice and responsible. We got some hicups on the check in and got settle to change another room as u can see frm photos the disaster of the first room we got i told the PIC only the bed and the sink is clean others is all dusty 😵💫
We got changed to another better condition rooms also with some stain on the table n cupboard so i had to clean myself before place anything in.
Its not that bad tho, but i would say im not an airbnb guest . 😅 and its feel really weird when u stay in hotel but its like so weird u cant park in the same unit and u just dont feel u are away for a trip as the place u check in like ur neighbor home kind of feel .

WWywyusoffMy stay was perfect as this hotel have all these:
1. ample parking space just infront of the hotel
2. spacious room with ironboard, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee and drinking water
3. big bathroom with toothbrush, body wash, shampoo
towel, face towel and toilet with bidet
4. hotel breakfast if purchased with room was good and compliments to the chef also the service assistant rahman was efficient.
5. checking in and out was fast.

PPS XuI booked 2 deluxe king rooms for 2adults and 2 teens as I don't require a lounge (additional room with sofa) and requested for connecting rooms but was told connecting rooms must booked with 1 family suite (1 room with 1 lounge) and 1 normal room.
Cons:
The rooms are quite old. Doors are not closed properly. Have to ensure the doors are fully closed every time.
The lifts are slow and HOT! There's no ventilation when the lift is full!!!
The walkways have no air con!!!!
The room's air con need to on full blast.
Pros:
Super convenient location. Many nice food around and opposite the hotel. Cottage Spices nonya food, hock kee gift shop, ee ji ban chicken rice, etc...

Nice sea view at the swimming pool.
Super fast room service from the housekeeping team when I requested for more mineral water, toilet paper and shower gels.
Daily housekeeping 👍👍👍 but please knock before entering the room when we are inside as we didn't hang the sign to clean room, the staff still enter 😮😮😮😮

GGuest UserLocation is great, there's ample of parking in the back - except it's not sheltered, you get all the ibis standard stuff you can expect. There r no water bottles as they have a filtered water dispense in the bathroom (odd choice) but it's good. My only grouse is the reception is super avoidant. When I arrived, there were about 7 people and 3 counters but everyone avoided eye contact except for the one person doing check in - creating a queue that should not happen, and this was after 3 pm check in time. So if you don't mind being ignored during check in n be made to wait in a queue, everything else with the hotel is good

YYuanyunizoubiantianyaAPPLE shares a building with a larger hotel, tucked away in a corner of the building's parking garage. The front desk is just a small table, where two polite Malaysian ladies check guests in. Although they don't speak Chinese, communication is possible through smartphone apps. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM. Luggage storage is free, but items are simply placed behind the front desk in a small concrete partition, without any receipts given, only an assurance of CCTV surveillance. Despite some inner apprehension, our luggage was safe and sound when we returned in the evening. The room is split-level: a double bed downstairs, and upstairs, another double bed and a single bed, making it perfect for families of 4-5 or groups of friends traveling together. Malacca isn't very large, and the hotel is about a twenty-minute walk from the Dutch Square, which is quite convenient. The apartment complex has a mini-supermarket, a swimming pool, and a ping-pong table, so the facilities are quite comprehensive. Crucially, the price is incredibly attractive, at only 200+ RMB per night, making it the best value for money hotel of our entire trip. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserRoom is spacious. However furnishings are quite old or outdated. Floors are carpet, felt a little dusty. Quite noisy at night, due to passing traffic, occasionally loud motorcycle or car exhaust.
Didn’t had the chance to utilize the swimming pool.
Breakfast so-so, could improve on food choices or variety.
Parking area could use better lighting and maintenance.

AAnonymous UserDuring my recent trip to Malacca, I stayed at Hotel Sunday Malacca (formerly Tun Fatimah). The accommodation itself may be a little old, but it was clean and offering a comfortable stay.
My room was on 8th floor, the views from the window overlooking the Malacca River was truly amazing. It also featured a cozy king-sized bed that ensured a good night’s rest.
Parking was available on-site, which added convenience. However, it would have been even better if a water dispenser had been provided for guests.
