3-Star Hotels in Helsinki

Excellent facilities....location was outside Helsinki but that was my choice and transport would have been good into Helsinki if HSL hadn't decided to carry out construction works on the line and as a result replace the train with part bus / part train and very poor communication on how this worked...but his was not Noli's fault. The room was a good size and very quiet and all facilities were first class.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with airport buses, trams and the metro right opposite the hotel, making it very convenient to explore Helsinki. Hakaniemi Market Hall is just across the road, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. For Muslim travellers, there’s also a fantastic halal Uyghur noodle restaurant within walking distance, which was one of my favourite meals in Helsinki. There’s also a lovely park and lake nearby, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the breakfast offered a great variety of food. It was also only about a 10–15 minute Uber ride to the Helsinki ferry terminal. The only inconvenience was that the room didn’t provide a kettle, and tea, coffee and even hot water had to be purchased separately. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay and would happily return.

Me and my mom needed an apartment to be able to visit family member who was in hospital. We needed a kitchen and a washing machine. The room had both and no problem with those. I suspected kitchen knife would be dull and it was, but I brought a knife sharpener and got it sharp. Otherwise everything in kitchen was okay but stove wasn't that powerful. The building's main door's lock wasn't functioning and we informed about it and it was fixed but only after about a week. Our apartment's lock worked all the time without problem. Also one lamp was broken. Mom said it was cold there and it wasn't exactly warm there, good enough for me and blankets were really thick. I complained about coldness and a serviceman came there to do something to radiators but it didn't really change anything. We were there in very early spring. It was 0C outside at night and 5-10C at daytime. There was some communication errors but nothing major and I was able to get hold of someone quickly and easily with the online chat. It was quite clean there except if you take bedclothes off you might enjoy the sight on pillow and blanket. All and all I was quite pleased of the room and stay.

When I booked, I fancy this hotel with a good location, right next to the tikkurila train station. It is very convenient to stay in whether it is from the airport or by train from another city. Finnish hotels are not cheap, and this chain is not bad. There are still some tableware and kettles in the room, you can take a light meal, but the range hood really didn't understand it, there is no pipe, and the smoke is directly from the top. The smoke is still in the room. Self-service check-in, no front desk, poor survivability is a bit challenging. The hotel has a shared washing machine, which is good.

There's nothing else to complain about, just that it's a bit far. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and it was a bit tough dragging luggage up the slope. This is an older apartment, but all the facilities are complete. There's a fridge, an iron, a microwave, and a kettle. Overall, it's considered clean, even though it's genuinely old.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-25 minute walk from the central station. It's incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, and Oodi Central Library, all within a 20-25 minute stroll. Large shopping malls such as Stockmann, Citymarket, Forum, and Kamppi are also nearby, making it ideal for shopping. The only downside is that the bathroom's ventilation system needs improvement; the air doesn't circulate well, leading to an odor. Additionally, there's no separate shower area, which leaves the floor wet and slippery after a shower. Due to its ideal location and price, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Helsinki.

Very beautiful hotel and the staff was friendly with a smile. The room I entered was not cleaned and I changed the room immediately when I told him. It was a quick and nice response. The cleaning was kind to call me if I was in trouble. The facility itself is very beautiful! The sauna was also the best Amenities such as toothbrush were not attached. Also, it is high to stay alone, so it is recommended to stay 2 ~ (^^)

I love this place! If i ever come back to Finland i will definitely stay here again. It’s right in the city centre and walking distance to the main city’s attractions . You can even walk to Senate Square!! The place itself is very clean, very complete with kitchen appliances which and also Muslim friendly as it got bidet… it is easy to check in with the code as well!!

Scandic Kallio is a very convenient location as it is walking distance to the tram and bus lines. It also has a nice park in front of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and bed linens and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast offers a nice spread of continental and Finnish foods. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Happy to return in the future. Excellent location and amenities.
