"Hotel itself is decent, i expected a bit more for the price. It is fairly clean and cozy, but very basic. Shower has no sliding door or curtain, so the floor is covered in water after every shower. One morning there was no hot water. Also, there noise coming from the pipes is extremely loud. Everytime the upstairs floors flushed the toilet, it sounded like a bunch of rocks being dropped down the pipes, and it woke me up in the mornings. Service was okay, friendly and extremely fast check-in/out. The main issue is the location. Although it is near a central spot, and good walking distance from many attractions, but the street itself is a disaster. There are homeless ************ outside directly in front of the hotel, ***** ***** all night. It is definitely not safe to walk alone at night. If safety is a concern, i cannot recommend staying at this hotel. Besides that, the stay itself is fairly comfortable."

GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

PPorco RActually we couldn’t stay this hotel.. With the terms and conditions we have reserved. and no refund or no reduction has provided… Even though we have truly expected to stay Acropolis view room of A for Athens again on the last night in Athens, but due to the electric device disorder, the front desk explained, the reservation has changed to the room of another cheaper sister hotel, 360 pop art, without no refund. In addition to that, the number of guests has not been correctly communicated to the 360 pop art and we had been kept waiting for more than 30 mins, even including arguing by pop art receptionist, when so tired after long trip from islands in late evening. They explained they change to very good room with Acropolis view but it only has partial view. But it was completely different from the view from Acropolis view room at A for Athens, in which we had stayed a few redays ago with the same price. Very disappointed memory.

YYee11We stayed one night at Alekos Apartments 2 and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The apartment was modern, very clean, and well-equipped — it even had a small kitchenette for simple cooking and Netflix for a relaxing night in. Although there’s a front desk, the office hours are limited, but not to worry — the owner is super responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. He even helped us arrange transport from the airport to the property at a reasonable fee, which made arrival really convenient. The self check-in process was smooth and well explained. The apartment felt safe, cozy, and had everything we needed for a short stay. Location-wise, it’s within walking distance to metro stations, making it easy to get to the city centre. Overall, a great value stay in Athens — clean, modern, and hosted by someone who truly cares about guests’ comfort. Would happily stay again!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Ermass Modern Living Apartments in Athens and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is in a very good and central location, with bus and metro connections nearby, making it easy to get around the city. It was also easy to find, which is a big plus for first-time visitors. The room was comfortable and practical, equipped with a mini-kitchen and utensils, which was convenient for light cooking. There is also a nice rooftop garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. The apartment is close to the famous Stani Greek restaurant, as well as several mini-markets for groceries and daily needs. An AC is provided, which made the stay comfortable during warmer days. A special mention and thanks to Thanos and Konstantina for their warm hospitality and constant support throughout the stay. They were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide useful information about places to visit, travel tips, and other local details. However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. The back side and nearby streets are not very clean, and the area does not feel very safe late at night. After around 10 PM, it’s better to avoid walking around, as we noticed several homeless individuals and people associated with ***** in the vicinity during nighttime. Overall, Ermass Modern Living Apartments offers great value, a central location, and helpful staff, but guests should be cautious about the surrounding area at night.

GGuest User+ Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to Syntagma Square (X95 bus stop) and a 2-minute walk to the main shopping street. There's an amazing bakery next door, Ergon Bakehouse, which has delicious breakfast and a constant queue for its baked goods. They even packed us a breakfast box to take to the airport for our early flight. - Cons: The soundproofing isn't great. Our room was opposite the linen closet, and the constant coming and going was quite noisy.

ZZaleeEverything is perfect. Clean / good reception/ quiet. The only inconvenience is that the bathroom layout / size will have you squeezing in and out. And I stayed in the 4 beds room. That would be a challenge if you have 4 people in there trying to use the bathroom.

집이최고Good location, simple and clean. The front desk is friendly and the breakfast is average. Hot water comes out well and the room is not cold. Please note that the single room is full of beds. The bed is not uncomfortable, but the blanket is only a sheet and a blanket, so it may be a little unfamiliar to Koreans.

GGuest UserNear train station of Central Athens, for 15 minutes walk (btw the announce from train only saying ”Athina”, some mess). Connect easily to metro Larissa Station. You can walk to the central of Athens, including attractions like Ancient Agora and Roman Agora. If you walk further south into the area, the famous Acropolis and the museum can be reached. Although some comments mentioned the locating area of hotel is a little bit not safe, this is just basic living area of locals (though some root level). Just keep yourself alerts, and they are not willing to border you. Once you reach the door of hotel, you will find feeling of good safety, there are always securities in front of door of hotel. Staffs are nice, greeting with you; breakfast provided, same types of choices everyday (I stayed 4 nights), good enough of Western Greek styles. Rooms are slightly old but tidy, anyway just remember basic facilities are provided e.g. no bottled water, toothbrush, slippers. In conclude, just a good 3-stars standard hotel, near city center, for budget! Lastly, just no worry on foods, some 24hr restaurants, maybe that Bread Factory hah

PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
