"The hotel is near Omonia Station. To the old city 20-25 minutes walk. The first room in the morning was changed, as only one of the 4 lamps on the ceiling worked. In the second room there was a coffee machine with capsules to surprise that plus, but the room itself is also not without negatives, in particular from the dock of the leak the soul beat on the floor outside the shower cabin, constantly had to erase the floor, the curtains are not. There was also a bath with jacuzzi elements, but it was not used. In both rooms where we lived, the view from the room was not available, more precisely on the neighbouring naked walls.
The safes are free in all rooms.
Breakfasts are minimal: cheese, sausage, bread, soluble coffee, tea, milk, apples, oranges, biscuits, cakes, chips.
We regret not taking the hotel closer to the old city, as the night-night contingent in the alleys near Omonia is horrible and dangerous, but this does not apply to the hotel anymore. In the hotel itself you feel comfortable and safe. The hostess of the hotel is welcome and knows a little Russian. There is a mini pool and a few cheeslons on the roof."

Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes.
Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.
Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening.
Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

OO.N.AThis is our 2nd stay at Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. Our experience, just like the first time, was not disappointing. All the staff at the hotel are extremely professional, and they didn't disappoint with the high quality of service rendered. We were particularly impressed at the check-in, which was done in less than 1 min. They just pulled up our details on their files, gave us the check-in paper to sign, and away we went to our room.
We asked for the same room 324 that we stayed on our first visit, and they happily obliged us. I love the fact that the hotel pays attention to every little request from its customers.
Thank you so much to everyone at Electra Palace, we will see you again in 2025 by God's Grace!🙏🏿

KKseniia KanarisThe best hostel I've ever stayed in. I can't even call it a hostel, it's definitely a hotel. They even make you an egg dish for breakfast, and everything is delicious. The hostel is comfortable, stylish, modern, and most importantly, very clean. I stayed in another hostel in Athens, which was also good, but Ocupa is the best place for solo travelers. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

NNicoleLocation is nice in close to Athens center and on the beach, not the nicest (Voula, voullagmeni) the road in front of the hotel is very busy. The pool on the roof is perfect, beautifull view from rooftop, breakfast is also excellent, staff is very friendly. The beds room were very clean, the shower good be done cleaner. But in total a very good hotel

GGuest UserUnfortunately this hotel was a complete nightmare, I arrived with serious eye infection and got no understanding or help from the staff. Noone helped me getting to the hospital. Then I even got a horrible room that was noisy, and NO window that could be opened. While complaining to the manager the next day I got even treated worse making up lies that I was yelling to the staff, which is NOT TRUE. I was just in pain asking for a better room or better service. Oh also they recommended the parking space for my super expensive car claiming its SAFE to leave them my car keys. I asked twice if this is really safe as my complete luggage is still in the car. When I went there to get my luggage out, the car was open!!! with the key inside. In the middle of Athens and noone there even from this parking team. like a complete fail on sooo many levels. The heating system is always on in the rooms making huge noise, also the pool downstairs has crazy machines making the whole night sounds. I am so happy I found another beautiful hotel around the corner quiet and excellent service!!!! Just dont stay there, its not good. Even the pool area is a joke and no jacuzzi in winter on the roof, they are not worth any visit!

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI booked a single room and it was larger than expected and the bathroom had a bath. I was on the 9th floor. The room had a city view which was unexpected. There was air conditioning, a kettle a fridge and plenty of space for luggage. There was no coffee available only T. So I bought my own. There was a range of shower wash and body cream. The soap was olive oil soap and very nice. The water in the fridge was not complimentary and I had to pay for it when I checked out. I didn’t book breakfast. It was quite noisy at times on Floor 9 with screaming children and young men congregating chatting and being loud. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well in it. The plug sockets were not near the bed. The pool at the top was brilliant but it was very busy. The views were spectacular and the food in the bar was very good. The staff in the bar were very kind. The hotel is very well situated near train stations but walking is much more interesting! There are some great shops and markets in the area and museums are not far away. It takes about 20 mins to walk into the centre if you enjoy your walk. I recommend junk shops on the walk to the Acropolis.

HHualijingThe 8th and 9th floors of the hotel, as well as the rooftop breakfast area (which is also the top floor), offer direct views of the Parthenon. Plus, the infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos! Probably because there are so many guests (and many rooms), after calling the front desk, service takes a long time to arrive (sometimes I even had to directly ask a housekeeper in the hallway for what I needed). The room facilities are quite old. Around noon, the front desk gets swamped with guests checking out. On another note, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the old town every hour on the dot.
