"The room was large and clean, the air conditioning was very warm, there was a TV, there was a safe, there was a lounge chair from the slippers and a large balcony. The ventilation in the Lin bathroom is not good, and the humidity can't be discharged very quickly. There is a large standing mirror and workbench. There is an elevator on the third floor. There is also free coffee. The uncle and aunt were very nice and kind the day before yesterday. Crossing the road is the coast and the Mediterranean is very nice and clean. It takes an hour to take the bus to the city center. The room was very clean."

SSergioThe hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area although somewhat far from Athens, the Acropolis (40 minutes by bus and metro).
The hotel looks renovated and very nice, the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with everything, they speak several languages so surely a person at the reception speaks your language and it will be easier for you to understand them.
The only drawback is that the avenue that runs right next to the hotel is very wide and at night you can hear the noise of motorcycles passing by at high speed. The insulation of the windows could be improved although we were able to rest perfectly.

HHo Mei MelodyStaff are most helpful for taxi booking n showing areas around. Room with balcony is good for having a coffee n feel the atmosphere around. The only thing is the lift is very small so if your room is in higher floors, you’d better travel light. Location is the best in Plaka with lots of nice restaurants n cafes, also only 5 minutes from airport express bus station at Syntagma Square.

GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be five-star online, but the stars abroad are actually different from those in China, which is the standard of three stars in China. The picture of the swimming pool is seriously faked. In fact, it is a very small swimming pool on the first floor and you can't see the sea at all. It's a bit of false advertising. The hotel is next to the main road, the doors and windows are not soundproofed, and the noise is quite loud. We told the front desk to check out half an hour later, and they agreed. When checking out, they insisted on 150 euros, saying that they only talked about one room and the other room would be charged. Later, after repeated communication, they waived the payment. I don't know if the front desk didn't understand or did it on purpose. These hotels all have kettles,

MMatinaThe hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.
The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The breakfast buffet was varied.
The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.

AAnthonyMore like a motel than a proper hotel. Location is excellent, directly next to the seaside (1 min walk). Very bad experience waiting for 2 hours to check in. Receptionists are not organized and not very welcoming at first, they like to take things slow, they will not help you. Basic room for enough for someone just wanting to sleep and take a shower, spending most of the time outside. No tissues will be provided even if you ask, only toilet paper.
