Amazing
GGuest UserWe were so pleased with our stay. The hotel management is exceptional with their hospitality- We definitely recommend this place for couples to families. It is close to many wonderful restaurants and amenities in the historic old town of Rhodes! Yet slightly tucked away for a more quiet escape. Thank you for everything!
EEndrit PanoI stayed for two nights at Lydia Hotel and everything was genuinely enjoyable. The location is perfect — right in the center of Rhodes town, walking distance to the Old Town, shops, cafés, and the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, exactly what you want for a short stay.
The staff were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast had a good variety and the whole atmosphere felt relaxed and pleasant.
Overall, Lydia Hotel is a great choice if you want convenience, comfort, and good value in Rhodes. I’d happily stay here again.
AAnonymous UserIn old town Rhodes near to the ferry port, beautifully built on an existing castle wall with modern design. Love the architecture and vibes around the hotel, although at night can be a little noisy but everyone’s here is for holiday. We have an outdoor terrace facing the street, so can sit and people watch without having to pay for a drink at the restaurants outside. Lena the receptionist gave out good recommendations for restaurants also.
However, the hotel room is a little too minimalist, would love to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and rack in the bath area to put the toiletaries. It would also be nice if there is a clothes rack to hang swim suits. Very nice toiletaries though.
KKarenBreakfast at this hotel was redundant. Hotel is not on the beach and breakfast is quite greasy along with the other food that upset my stomach. Another major problem with this hotel is that they don't have blankets in the room they have one sheet and had I not had my blankets I would have frozen to death. I don't like the fact that they charge you to use the safe and they charge you €5 per state to use a towel which is ridiculous. The people are friendly enough but I would not stay here again.
TTengku ZahasmanGreat location inside the walls of old town, and very close distance to walk to the main square. Plenty of free roadside parking outside of red gate after 4pm. Service was a bit hit and miss. We were only able to check in 30 mins later than the official check in time, and they forgot that we had free breakfast. The lady who looks after the place was a bit temperamental - sometimes happy and friendly, other times a bit moody. If you can get past that character, the place is pretty nice, with the best rooftop view overlooking all the main sights and harbour. Food at the rooftop cafe was also nice and generous
GGuest UserPrice performance top! I liked the rest in the hotel. There is little animation, not inevitably very sympathetic and courtesy are the two boys of animation.
The kitchen is good for the price we have paid.
The rooms are clean.
Wi-Fi in the rooms should be improved.
I would book again.
Thanks for the great week
GGuest UserI booked this hotel since it looked more modern, had a decent location + had a pool. Wasn’t sure about what their breakfast was gonna look like but it was a 12/10 they had a lot of options & we loved it. Over all have a really good experience. All the employees were nice & really helpful. Definitely would recommend! 👌
GGuest UserThe staff, more specifically Ilias, Sofia, the gentleman with long hair that received us at the reception and the lady that serves breakfast, were really nice and this is was without a doubt the best of it. The breakfast was good, on the other hand lunch and dinner was someday's better and someday's worse but the staff was really slow, everyday there was lack of food and we had to ask for more and we had to clean our own tables before we sat down. The cleaning was the worse, the linens were no changed at all, the towels were meant to be changed every two days but this did not happen either. The floor was dirty with sand, hairs and anything else that fell in it because it was never cleaned.
It is quite far from any of the sandy beach's of from the capital, 30 min driving for Rhodes and Faliraki or if you want to go to Lindos 1 hour.
The pool was good, but the surroundings were dirty.
Nonetheless, considering that it was all inclusive, even that not all drinks were included, but there was beer, 4 different cocktails and Greek vodka, gin, tequila, the price was good.
GGuest UserVery happy with our stay for the price we paid it was excellent value. Sure it's a very basic accommodation and bit tired.. Beds bit old and shower didn't stay on hook, one plug socket in room didn't work.. But so what. The place was clean and fine for place to shower and crash. Small balcony but also fine for a couple. Nice view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fridge in room and WiFi that is available everywhere for no additional charge. (Unlike many other Greek hotels). They also gave me a kettle to use when I asked. Breakfast included was very basic and same every day. And only available for 2hours each morning. But again for the price we paid such amazing value compared to other hotels.
Pool was nice size and location good.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend and stay again..
If this place comes up as cheapest on your search and you're on a budget don't be put off... It's fine. You will have a great time and made to feel welcome.
