3-Star Hotels in Fukuyama

Stopped for a night here during our roadtrip and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a traditional ryokan and the lobby is nicely decorated with some really old furniture. Breakfast is delicious with local fish and ingredients, I wish we had order dinner the night before.

It was cold, so I went to sleep with the air conditioner on, but it seems that if you ask for a blanket, they will lend one to you free of charge. There were no problems or issues.

Parking is complete near the station. Convenience stores and restaurants were not nearby, so it was a convenient location. I want to use it again when I go home.

The location was on the 7th floor, so the view was pretty good. The room was spacious, and the staff were very polite and helpful; I really liked it! The only remaining issue is the price, as I was there for business. However, I heard that if you call directly, there might be some slightly cheaper plans available for longer stays, so next time I'll definitely choose the Sun Hotel even if I have to pay out of pocket. It was fantastic!

Absolutely perfect! From the staff, to the room, everything was incredible. The room was super clean, had just enough space for two, and the temperature was nice. The location was very nice, helped me visit Fukuyama easily, since it was near a lot of cool places. Thank you so much!

Easy walking to the hotel from Fukuyama station. The Castle near the station can be easily accessed by walking ( not too tough for me who has a knee issue). I could see Toyoko Inn at the top of the Castle ground.Also the cathedral.

The hotel was clean, and the hair dryer and shower head were RIFA and very comfortable to use. However, from about 6:00 on the day of check-out, children's noise echoed in the hallway and was very loud. This continued for about 30 minutes, so I called the front desk and they warned me, but it was still very loud and unpleasant after that. It's not the hotel's fault, but I was a little disappointed with how slow they were in responding.

The breakfast was delicious. When I stay at a business hotel, I prioritize a hotel with a large public bath and sauna. At Candeo Fukuyama, the sauna was good, but the water temperature in the cold bath was high, estimated at 25 degrees Celsius, and it was disappointing as it wasn't very refreshing. I wish it was at least kept below 20 degrees Celsius. I hope they improve this.
