Room is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

We really enjoyed our time here. Awesome beds with all you need. The toilets were really good and really well arranged. Recommended

Take the north exit of Himeji Station and walk for five minutes to get there. However, some rooms are close to the railway and very close to the Sanyo Department Store. Shopping is very convenient and the price/performance ratio is relatively high.

The SigAside from somebody closing the windows in the evening, making it very hot (not the hostel's fault), it well located and has comfortable beds. Side note: I will never understand why some people are afraid of fresh air when sleeping.

The location is very good, the south exit of the Shinkansen, you can see it on the left. Check-in can be operated directly on the machine, and breakfast service is provided every day. Attractions and shopping in the city can be reached on foot, and it is very convenient to take the Shinkansen to the nearby city.

My wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.

It is a little far from Himeji station, so is it inconvenient when the weather is bad? However, there are convenience stores and McDonald's nearby, so it is convenient. The facilities are aging, but other surrounding hotels are similar, and I didn't use the large communal bath or free food and drink this time, but it's a good deal, so I definitely want you to use it. orz

The building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.

The room floor was dirty and I felt a little cigarette smell, but I think it's like this.
