GGuest UserUnder the Dashi Mountain, the scenery is picturesque. There are slides and swings, which children like.
There is a bonfire at night, iron sign is provided, and marshmallows can be roasted.
It takes a few minutes to walk over by the cable car, which is very convenient. The hotel also provides Oshiyama ticket coupons.
Breakfast sandwiches, dinner buffet barbecue, the amount is large, the ingredients are OK.
My mobile phone was lost in the taxi, and the front desk brother helped to call and solve the problem, thank you very much!

MM301995****Weekend trip to Izu. I made a guide online in advance. In fact, Izu will be more beautiful in spring, during the cherry blossom season. But winter also has a different flavor. So I came here specially from Tokyo without making much preparation, but when I got here I found that Izu didn’t require you to make any preparations. This is a place to relax and purify your soul. There are not many B&Bs and restaurants in the village. I was lucky enough to meet the proprietress of this B&B. She came to greet us as soon as we got off the car. It felt like we were back at home. They also helped with luggage. The schedule of the hot springs was also very reasonable. They used mountain spring water, which was very moist and warm. The room was made of tatami mats with a traditional Japanese style, which was very warm and retro. The village started to get quiet around eight o'clock in the evening. After dinner, I took a walk on the mountain road to catch the wind and returned to the hotel to rest. When I woke up in the morning, I opened the window and breathed in the fresh air. Then I ordered a Shanghai big wonton with fried dough sticks made by my aunt, and listened to my aunt’s entrepreneurial story in Japan for decades. I feel so happy. I am very lucky to have found such a treasure B&B. I hope I can come here again in the summer to experience the summer in Miyazaki's paintings~

Outside the tent, burn a bonfire and look at the stars. When you look up at night, you can see the sky full of stars. It's so beautiful that you can't bear to look away. The campground is very well-equipped, so you basically don’t need to prepare anything extra, which is worry-free and convenient.
The environment is clean and comfortable, and the details are very considerate. For example, the restroom and shower facilities are basic, but the hot shower is pretty good, and there is no inconvenience at all.
Whether it’s your first time camping or an experienced player, you can enjoy a relaxing time here!
For barbecue food, you can buy ingredients from the supermarket 10 minutes' drive from the camp site. (Masked Store Ito Yoshida Store)
The boss and the lady boss are both Chinese, so there is no barrier to Chinese language and communication is smooth.
The surrounding environment is quiet and pleasant, the air is fresh, accompanied by the breeze and the chirping of insects, making it an ideal place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you want to feel the tranquility and beauty in nature, this is definitely the best choice!

GGuest UserA group of eight people stayed at the Dadong Pavilion. It was very clean. It should be said that it is a very old hot spring hotel, and the original facilities are preserved! XXiaomuMUSI”This trip to Izu Kogen was made particularly memorable because of this B&B. As soon as I arrived at the B&B, the owner's warm welcome made me feel like spring breeze. The owner was very considerate. Not only did he introduce us to the surrounding attractions in detail, but he also gave us a lot of practical travel suggestions.
The environment of the B&B is even better. The room is clean and tidy, and the layout is very warm and Japanese, making people feel as comfortable as at home. The public area is also very comfortable, and the hot spring ♨️ is also very suitable for families.
It must be mentioned that this B&B is very close to the Jogasaki Coast, and it is very convenient to travel. You can just walk there, and the scenery along the way is also very beautiful.
When we went back, it rained heavily and the tram stopped running. The owner took the initiative to contact us to help us find a way, and finally sent us to our destination. Thank you very much🥹

VVegan 美味しいI had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰

NNEMINUnderestimate the desolation of Izu Kogen Station. Remember to call ahead to make an appointment to pick up and drop off the hotel. There should be Chinese people who can let Chinese people pick up the phone, but generally there will be no cars at four or five at the latest. If the last bus is more than 6 o'clock I want to call a car in a kiosk. If you can’t speak Japanese, you can only try your luck and wait, especially when there is no car
The room is ok. Although the Japanese bed is a bit harder, it is wide and clean.

CcometdebrisI stayed at Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace for 5 nights booking though Trip.com. Be warned that problems may occur when booking through travel websites such as this one. I booked a standard room with no meals. What I did not know however, was that this reservation did not include any room cleaning services for the entire stay, no taking of garbage or towel replacement, no bed making, nothing at all. When I contacted the travel website to show my disappointment, they immediately contacted the hotel requesting a full refund. I did not expect a full refund for my entire stay. What I did expect, was for someone to acknowledge the fact that this important piece of information should have been indicated someone on the online reservation confirmation. Neither the travel site nor the hotel would acknowledge this.
The travel site replied with a response from the hotel, saying that I was a regular guest and knew about this “regulation”. It’s true, I have visited Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace on several occasions when housekeeping services were not included. However, this was clearly indicated on the reservation, and I stayed during the COVID STATE OF EMERGENCY, when it was standard practice for many hotels to exclude cleaning services. My recent stay was at the beginning of August, WHEN THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND COVID RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED. It is no longer standard practice to exclude cleaning services at hotels in Japan.
The hotel stated that I visited the front desk every day to get towels and never mentioned the need to clean the room. This is untrue. I only came to the front dest 2 times during my stay, and this is because room cleaning staff entered my room on 2 occasions, so I was expecting them to clean or take out the trash, but they did nothing and left. I expected them to return, however, they never did. The bottom line is the hotel is responsible for communicating their services to customers, especially after covid restrictions have been lifted. Blaming guests for their lack of communication is completely unprofessional.
Now in regards to the hotel itself, I have stayed here on several occasions, I find it to be perfect, mainly because of the location and modest room size. The hotel is conveniently located near Lake Ippeki (Ippekiko) and there is plenty of nature and a few trails in the area. You can step out the door and be on a simple hiking trail within minutes. It’s a very quiet area and very good for children and families. Though the hotel is dated, the rooms are all quite large and include a living room, kitchen with cooking supplies and dishes (but no forks or spoons), a large bath, and both Western and Japanese style bedrooms. Some may be discouraged by the age of the hotel (it’s quite old and could use some renovation), but if you don’t mind that, then I would highly recommend staying here. One point that I need to mention is in regards to the bedrooms. The hotel has replaced their blackout curtains with super thin curtains which allow sunlight to easily shine through. We were woken up at 5:00 am every morning because of the bright sunlight in our room. If you’re a light sleeper, please take note. I wish management would consider this. Also, it’s highly recommended that guests come by car, public transportation is very inconvenient in the area.
Overall, Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace is a very convenient place for a reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, but hope that they act with a little more professionalism and consider the fact that the covid state of emergency ended long ago.

NNU-IIIt is a very old-fashioned hot spring hotel. It can be seen that it must have been particularly popular back then, but now there are many guests. It is a very traditional hot spring hotel.
The rooms are large, all with tatami mats, and have hot springs. It should feel better if you live here in winter. The breakfast was very good, rich in content and quality.
The service at both the front desk and the driver who picked up and dropped off was particularly good, and they still maintained their seriousness and enthusiasm. Very memorable. Thanks.
