GGuest UserStaff were wonderful. They held my luggage as I was very early for check-in and communicated via a handheld translator. The room was very nice and spacious with an absolutely gorgeous view to the city and surrounding areas. The private hot spring tubby on the deck was also wonderful as you do get the scene to the city and providing a wonderful ambiance. The food provided was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Now the caveat is the hotel is on a hill and unless you have transportation like a rental car or taxi, getting up there is a hike and more so with luggage. The staff also provided me with a shuttle to Itō station and some snacks to my next location. Oh and the wonderful picture they took and framed for me was also so thoughtful

XxxbaiThe room was great, very spacious, and exactly my style. It offered a sea view, though unfortunately, it was partially obscured by trees. It's a shame the hot spring was out of order and I couldn't use it. The only minor issue was that even though my check-in information indicated three guests, only two pairs of slippers were provided. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

GGuest UserThe grounds are beautiful, with plenty of spots for atmospheric photos. The room was spacious and aesthetically pleasing, and the soft futon made for a comfortable sleep. No insects were found. The onsens (hot springs) are fantastic; there are many of them and they operate without time limits, so you're sure to find an available one. The traditional breakfast was interesting and delicious. However, dinner wasn't as impressive – it looked nice, but the taste was mediocre. We've had better kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) elsewhere, but perhaps that's just a matter of taste. Also, oddly, we weren't offered a welcome drink or sweet upon check-in, but instead, they gave us a stone to smell!

GGuest UserThis was my mother and daughters' first international trip together, and thanks to this place, we had such a happy and enjoyable time! 🥰 Everyone was incredibly friendly, and both the outdoor private onsen and indoor hot spring bath in our room were clean and beautiful! 👍
My mom had been wanting to go to a hot spring for years, and she was absolutely thrilled and very satisfied. 💜
Dinner and breakfast were also fantastic; you could really feel the effort put into each dish, and we got to try new ingredients, so it was all delicious! 😍
If you're driving from Shizuoka by rental car, I highly recommend taking the toll road! We took the free road and ended up learning to drive in Japan 'Spartan-style' on our first day, thanks to the massive forest roads and fog. Haha. We received the best hospitality during our stay, which helped my mother and daughters make truly wonderful memories. 🧡

BBuhuifeideyanzi115Our trip to Izu was a pleasant surprise! We were incredibly lucky to catch the Tang House private onsen just as it finished construction and opened for guests. Although the new private bath isn't huge, it offers excellent privacy, a quiet atmosphere, and is wonderfully comfortable. After a hot day of sightseeing, filled with heat and exhaustion, a short soak in the onsen washed all the fatigue away – it was incredibly therapeutic.
The host thoughtfully arranged a pick-up from Izu Kogen Station and even dropped me off directly at Mount Omuro.
The house itself is stylishly decorated and has a great ambiance. Before checking in, I was a bit worried about the shared bathroom, but my concerns were completely unfounded. The space was sparkling clean and bright, and even had disinfectant provided – the hygiene details were meticulously handled.
I absolutely *must* praise the host's Biangbiang noodles; the chili oil was incredibly addictive! As someone from Xi'an myself, I found the flavor exceptionally authentic. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the seasoning was spot on. Eating such genuine hometown flavors in a foreign country brought immense happiness.
Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Overall, the stay was impeccable, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Izu. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

It was my first time experiencing a hot spring, and I'd recommend thoroughly reading the pamphlet the front desk gives you and picking out a suitable yukata after checking in. That way, you can go straight to the onsen in your yukata. The outdoor onsen offers a distant view of the sea, which creates a truly unique ambiance at night. It would probably be even more enjoyable when it's colder. The room was spacious, and the TV had NHK 4K – watching a World Cup game in the morning felt absolutely fantastic. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off services to Izu-Kogen station, which you can book in English via Ctrip's internet phone.

GGuest UserIf you're undecided about which hot spring inn to choose in Ito, I highly recommend this one. It's a lovely, cozy inn with excellent hot springs and delicious food.
Both the large public bath and the private baths were incredibly relaxing. The water was wonderful, leaving my skin feeling smooth.
The meals were also exquisitely seasoned and delicious. They even showed creativity by changing the sauce for the abalone. Since it was late March, the menu was spring-like, focusing on fresh shellfish (there was also steak). I don't like large portions of fatty food or excessive amounts of food, so the portion sizes were just right, and the menu balance was perfect.
The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
The lobby had a well-selected collection of games for rent, which the children enjoyed.
If I had to mention one minor concern, it would be:
* The private dining room was very dark even in the morning (the atmosphere was wonderful for dinner, though). It would be nice if they could adjust the lighting in the mornings.
Also, since the smoking area is right next to the inn's main entrance, the view and smell are bothersome. I think it would be better to have a separate smoking area.
Overall, it was a very nice inn! Thank you very much.

RRina_KliuchnikA good, but not new, hotel. It boasts a huge golf course, and indeed, the vast majority of guests are golfers who come for a weekend getaway to play without venturing down the mountain.
If you have your own car, getting there is convenient. However, for exploring the region, the location isn't ideal; this hotel isn't really set up for that. You can, however, reach Ippeki Lake. I actually walked to the Komuroyama lift in 35 minutes through the camellia garden. From there, you can descend to Kawana Dolphin Beach, but the path isn't particularly convenient, and there are no direct buses. The closest bus stops to the hotel are in Yoshida, and from there, it's a 15-20 minute uphill walk along the road. You won't get lost, as there are plenty of signs. But it's not a straightforward or super easy route, especially if you have a lot of luggage.
The rooms are quite standard. They have all the essentials: a kettle with green tea, a fridge, a TV, and various shampoos and gels in the bathroom (yes, there's a bathtub in the room). You can even see Mount Fuji from the window.
The hotel itself has an interesting interior with cool details, such as an aesthetically pleasing lounge area before the dining room.
The breakfast is good. Everything is tasty and varied; it’s definitely a step up from a basic economy hotel. There are fruits, vegetables, drinks, omelets, rice... and various meat and fish dishes, which I don't really pay attention to since I rarely eat them, but they were there.
I didn't get to try the hot springs at the hotel, so I can't comment on them.
Since I had already done a lot of hiking in the mountains over a few days, I requested a transfer for check-out. I was the only passenger! It took 7 minutes to Kawana Station, and a train to Ito/Atami was leaving 10 minutes later.
Overall, it's an excellent hotel if you're not planning to spend a week traveling along the coast from here. For that purpose, it would be better to find something closer to the sea.

44R for KI enjoy the hotel. It’s so simple and it’s comfortable. I’m staying with my three kids and two grandma’s. One of my kids is autistic and he likes the place very much because the rooms are wide. It’s great for a family who on a budget trip😊 the best part is the room is so quiet and you can hear the bird singing early in the morning I guess it’s the best part. My youngest daughter she’s four years old. She said she doesn’t wanna come home yet. She’s not ready to leave the place.
