Amazing
FFazar ZamanI stayed at Z Garden Hotel between 28th Nov and 1st Dec. My stay was absolutely amazing. I arrived on an early morning flight, and despite check in being from 3pm, Remy re assured me that they will do their best to accommodate me within a short time. I left my luggage with reception and went to have some breakfast. By the time I returned my room was prepared and I was blown away at the hospitality of the staff as Remy realised upon check in that it was my birthday a few days before and the staff prepared my room with balloons and decor which left me speechless. The staff at the hotel really epitomise the hospitality and kindness of the people of Philippines. Every day my room would be left spotless and as a solo traveller it had everything I could have needed. Modern, stylish room and the bed was so comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep in Hotels but the bed was really comfortable and a warm space to relax. I was greeted by every staff member that passed by from the reception team, to housekeeping to the security guard at night. Any advice I needed or transport arranged, Remy took absolute care of everything as though I was her own guest and it really leaves a beautiful memory of my travels. It is in a brilliant location, in a quiet relaxing space just a short distance away from the lively scene of El Nido. I hope to return to El Nido in future with my family and without hesitation I will choose to stay at Z Garden Hotel again.
Thank you Remy and the entire team for making it a memorable experience and I hope to see you all very soon!
AAnonymous UserHands up to this place. The room was nice, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They will tend to your concern and make you feel their hospitality. They also have free breakfast every morning and all of it are freshly made.
The room has fresh linens, cold AC, hot and cold showers. The only cons during our visit is that there’s no wifi due to aftermath of a recent typhoon but overall this is 10/10 hostel. I’ll stay with them once I go back soon
GGuest UserOn the surface this hotel has all the amenities you need, a great pool, gym, billiards, close to the beach, free breakfast and airport transfer. These were definitely positives. The breakfast was sort of strange - it was a buffet with one fruit choice, rice, meat dishes (chicken yesterday, fish or duck today), bread, waffles, condiments, salad, an egg station where you get egg made to your preference and 2 cereals. The quality was good, and you could certainly be filled on the food, but it was quite random options. We didn’t mind but it wasn’t for everyone.
The main issue with this place is the room. It is wonderfully spacious and comfortable, but as some others have noted, there is EXTREME dampness. To the point on our first evening we had to call housekeeping to change our sheets and mop the floor. The humidity / dampness was running down the walls, building up on the floors and surfaces, made our bags and clothes damp and created a disgusting musty smell. We presume this is not an uncommon issue despite the ‘surprise’ of reception as the room is covered in mould. The only way to really help this (help but not fix entirely) is to have the air conditioning on extremely high and very cold, which we could not do as it was not warm enough and we did not want to get sick.
The pool however was very clean, billiards and table tennis were a welcome benefit, but the beach is not swimmable so bear this in mind too. An okay stay if you have a connecting flight, but definitely not a ‘resort’ quality experience.
GGuest UserNice place. I noted a numerous critical reviews. However, I found all staff to be friendly and helpful, especially Reception . Breakfast was good. Very large room with a view of Corong beach, boats. . About 20 to 25 minute walk to ELNino beach, distance is not a problem, it's the humidity!.. good quality 3 star hotel
에에나 YedraHotel is close to Macdonalds. 15 to 20mins walk to town. It was a good stay but big gecko in the bathroom, so called the front desk.they were pretty good at taking care of it. Not bad for a budget hotel. Heads up no elevators. Overall it a nice stay.
GGuest UserExcellent service we've received. The staff were all polite, friendly & very accommodating esp with my request. Beautiful view of bay & Coron town, ignore the shanty area coz it's the trip we were after & friendliness of people of Coron. Everyday cleaning/making up our room & everyday bottled water provided. Good selection of food for buffet breakfast & freshly cooked when we had a la carte due to low season/less guests which is much better than busy😆
SSaleh_ShoaibI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stunning Republic, and I can't recommend it enough for beach lovers! Located just 20 feet from the sandy shores, this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean.
From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home. The check-in process was quick, and I was immediately captivated by the stunning view from my room. With a private balcony overlooking the beach, I could enjoy the sound of the waves and the salty breeze without even leaving my space.
The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and cozy decor.
One of the highlights of my trip was the easy access to the beach. It was just a short stroll down a charming path, allowing me to spend my days sunbathing, swimming, and exploring.
Breakfast by the ocean was a standout, featuring fresh pastries and local fruits.
Overall, this is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a beach getaway. The convenient location, friendly service, and quality accommodations make it an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation.
EemnjnsnMicrotel was a good place to rest if you traveled outside Puerto Princesa, like Balabac or El Nido. It is far from the noise of the city of Puerto Princesa. Downside currently is that the roads going to Microtel is under renovation and traveling to Microtel is hard. This is during November 2025 hopefully the construction will be done soon.
You will see that in the pictures of Microtel has beach but this beach is very shallow. Alternative as it it has a swimming pool.
AAlexey VerbitskyA nice location, but our room on the ground floor was dark and damp, we constantly caught a cold because of the air conditioner, there is no balcony, only access to the mini pool that resembled a mini paddock, it did not work for heating, there is no breakfast here, it's a pity that there was no room for us on the second floor, which affected the vacation in this place we were not satisfied because he is good in the photo but not very good in reality + all these disadvantages that no one wrote about.
Next time, I'll choose a much more comfortable place to vacation.
GGuest UserThe service staff is very friendly, and the location is very convenient. You can walk to the busiest street in town and the seaside! The twin room we booked is facing the sunset, so it is very convenient to watch the sunset from the room. The room is big, but you just need to pay attention to whether there are mice...
