Let me start with the bad parts. The facilities are too old. The bamboo room is not soundproof. The sea view is not vast and there are mountains around. There are many mosquitoes. The swimming pool is very small. There are many colorful lights installed in a very âmedievalâ style. The attitude of the waiters is also a little inferior.
The good places are affordable! The food is not bad. The semi-buffet breakfast is delicious (the picture shows breakfast). There are many choices of international styles for dinner! At night, you can see flocks of birds returning to their nests at the sunset at the pier bar, which is very romantic!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation.
A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant â he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal.
The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we canât wait to come back again soon!

I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special.
One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand barâa slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical.
The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Domeâthe atmosphere is unmatched.
What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals.
We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbarâyour professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no.

MmiabuchananI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged.
The highlight of the property is definitely the pool and the customer service . The infinity pool overlooking the water and surrounding landscape was absolutely stunning â a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It truly felt like a luxury experience.
The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
The food was very good, with a great selection and quality, and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even better.
Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great amenities, and excellent service. I would happily return!

The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlightâabsolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. Thereâs no TV, so if youâre traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

GGuest UserThe Underwater Garden Resort has a unique location on the Baquit Island only 10 minutes boat trip to Coron .Foots in the water! Boatshuttle in hotelrate includet.
Very quiet at night and dayover only some boats passing at a good distance.
The restaurant is OK with place for improvement.
Fishh-Sinigang and grilled fish are delicious. The personell is very gentle, kiind and attentive. They are trying to improve and learn everyday.

AAngelicaFrom the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free.
Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they donât sell alcohol on-site.
Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

TThat girl abroadI had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, check-in was seamless, and my bags were taken straight to my room which made the arrival feel extra special.
The room itself was spacious and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with welcome chocolates and brownies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was fully equipped with everything youâd need: bottled water, a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee station, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. It felt comfortable and well-prepared for guests.
One thing that really impressed me was the laundry service. They had my clothes washed and returned within three hours, which was incredibly convenient and efficient.
The pool area is absolutely stunning and very clean. They have three restaurants on site, which gives great variety. I ordered poolside nachos with a carrot and apple drink and it was delicious. Breakfast is a proper buffet, leaning toward a full English-style spread with plenty of options.
That said, I do think the bathroom could use a bit of attention. Water leaked through the shower door when showering, the shower head could benefit from a deep clean, and I noticed a few drain flies. It didnât ruin my stay, but itâs an area that could definitely be improved.
I also experienced a small issue at checkout. They were unable to provide change when I was settling my bill, which delayed things. There were only two staff members assisting with checkout, and although I was scheduled to leave at 6:00am with a breakfast pack, I only managed to leave at 6:30am and unfortunately without the breakfast.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. With a little more attention to bathroom maintenance and smoother early-morning checkout coordination, it would be close to perfect. I would still happily return.

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit far from town but always had tuktuks outside available to take you in. The pool was picturesque but the water a bit dirty as it's not a filter system. Still really fun to hang out by the pool! They had a Christmas Eve feast including a lechon roast and all of the food was amazing. The pool bar is cool, but they had run out of a lot of items during the Christmas holidays. They also had no scooters or motorbikes available to rent (again, holidays). I'd recommend!

GGuest UserOur stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was very large, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean.
The service was incredible especially Kris, who took great care of us and helped with everything we needed. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the location is great, with many nice restaurants around the hotel. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing.
The only downside is that thereâs no gym and no spa, so if youâre looking for those facilities, you might prefer another place. But overall, this hotel is a solid 10/10. Highly recommended!
