3-Star Hotels in Gothenburg

Frankly, I'd seriously recommend anyone reading this review to steer clear of this hotel for the time being. The hotel's location is good, right across from the city center train station, with many attractions and commercial facilities within walking distance. However, there's a massive transportation hub construction site directly downstairs. The traffic routes and facilities haven't been updated in navigation apps, making the road conditions absolutely chaotic – seriously, don't even attempt to navigate it. Also, I have to complain about the room. I never expected it would be so small that it couldn't even fit a single table, which was extremely inconvenient. Other aspects were quite good, especially the breakfast and service, which were impressive.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Lorensberg in Gothenburg. The location is excellent—central, quiet, and within easy walking distance of Avenyn, shops, and public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a charming, classic feel. Breakfast was good with a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s great value for money and an ideal base for exploring the city.

One of the best places Ive ever stayed in! Super cozy, with great location and polite stuff

Very kind stuff , great breakfast and very good dinner (a small buffet dinner but everything was delicious and tastefull). Location quiet, only 10 min with tram 1 to main railway station and 15 min with tram 5 to Universum and downtown. Not a problem at all. Nice courtyard inside , gym very well equiped, sauna also included. We really liked our stay here and would come again. There is outside pool.

could hear water dripping sound coming from the toilet bowl or wall, can’t locate. toilet door can’t be close tight, one of the switch was not working, was given a room at the first floor facing the road and there was clubbing sound even at 10pm, curtain doesn’t close well cause sleeping direction faces it and light still shines in BUT breakfast buffet was good!

The young lady at the front desk was very warm. I booked a family room. After entering the room, it was really small. There was almost no space to walk in the room. The sofa bed is for the children. After the child sits on it, the sofa collapses and sits on the ground. Simply put the mattress on the floor and slept for two days. All toiletries except bath towels need to be brought. Plus more than 3,000 taxes, no cost-effective compared to domestic hotels 🙀

The little Georgin restaurant which also serves as the breakfast location is amazing! Great food, great service. The rooms are clean and a good size, and location is very good! The bathroom we had was not as functional as I would have liked, lack of shelving within the shower for your own amenities.

On a business trip, it was very cold and it was a weekend. The hotel reception was very enthusiastic and helped us to move our luggage, especially the first floor small bar and the cake after 4 o'clock was very good and intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, will come again next time...

Sweet and cold, very sensitive. I thought for a while we had the window open, for traffic and talk were heard so clearly. The shower room was feeling recently renovated but not completed as there were no shower walls and the heat in the floor did not go on with the reference in the manoeuvre central that the packet in the floor was forced to hard first and it was delay set by 5 days. Otherwise good beds and OK breakfast but tight breakfast spaces and poor service given that breakfast accessories ended and it was not filled up in time. On the plus page can be said the staff was nice and satisfactory. Mvh Peter Johansson
