Gothenburg Hotels with Gym

Well everything besides our check out experience was great. Really great! Then when checking out, we had 3 interactions with the reception about checking out prior to checking out. and only the one at 12:30 (when checking out with luggage and all), we were told to pay a 200SEK late-fee, which I was then told could’ve been even higher and that I should be thankful they didn’t charge me double… Not nice - and we had 3 interactions prior to this for this exact reason. I wanted to work out first and then shower in the room before leaving. If we were told the first time about the late check out fee; we would’ve checked out then and there. I complained about this practice, to deaf ears. Not coming back despite it being very nice and perfect for a Liseberg weekend with the family

My stay at the Scandinavian Crown Hotel was a wonderful experience! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the central station, a godsend for travelers with luggage. Whether you're taking the train to the airport or visiting the city's main attractions, everything is easily within walking distance. The lobby is designed in a minimalist Scandinavian style, spacious and bright, with a very chic social space. Our room, while not particularly large, was impeccably clean, and the bed was the perfect firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep. The windows were also well-insulated, so despite being near the station, it wasn't noisy at all. If you're looking for a hotel that's conveniently located, offers great value, and is comfortable, the Scandinavian Crown Hotel is definitely a great choice!

The hotel was exceptionally clean and organized. They have several great amenities like a sauna & luggage storage for the day (even after you check out). Not far from anything and in a great location. The staff all speak great English and were incredibly friendly! Breakfast was traditionally Swedish with lots to choose from and easy for anyone to find something enjoyable.

Very good hotel, we booked a deluxe double room, the room is facing the street, very big and beautiful. The room rate includes breakfast and dinner and Fika cake in the afternoon. It is very cost-effective. The breakfast is very rich. The dinner is relatively simple. There is a meat dish (change every day) and a fixed salad, but the taste is good. Don't worry about eating every day. The location of the hotel is 6～ 8 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. There are many cars at the tram station opposite the train station to go to various attractions. The bus station next to the train station can take the airport bus to the airport, which is more convenient to travel. There is a Coop next door to the hotel for easy purchasing daily necessities. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, helping us solve the shower use problem, and on the last day, we also helped pack breakfast in advance due to our early check-out. In short, it is highly recommended to live here.

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable in every detail. The service was excellent and the staff were very professional and friendly. I truly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant experience. I would definitely visit again!

Overall a pleasant stay, conveniently located near to Gothenburg Central Station and right next to Nordstan shopping mall and tram / bus links. Easy walking distance to Haga and elsewhere too.  Hotel rooms are well appointed, though proper AC would be beneficial, there with comfy beds and the bathroom is comfortable too. The gym while not large, it's better equiped that majority of hotel gyms around and enough for a workout. Never tried the pool / sauna, you have to book a time slot which just made things a little awkward to fit into our day but it's a good concept.  Only downside is the wooden floors in the hotel rooms. You can hear people walking / moving furniture easily from several rooms / floors away. While not the hotels fault, guests are so unaware with how loud they are and need to take responsibility on this. Make noise late into the evening and from 6am everyday disturbed our sleep. That would be the only negative of our stay.

The air conditioning was too loud and wouldn't completely turn off for a break. I felt a bit claustrophobic in this room, and the window was too small. The furniture was too dark. The sink wasn't ergonomic; everything always got wet because the rim was so wide that you had to lean over, and then water would splash out. My wife didn't perceive everything the same way I did. The breakfast area was very nice, open, and pleasant. Overall, it's a mixed bag, unfortunately, I can't stay in this cramped room again, not willingly.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we got a room “upgrade”. The room was small so we really wondered what the “original” room looked like. The bed had stains on the cover that was laid under the mattress which didn’t look good. We went down to the lobby and found nobody present. We moved on to the restaurant, it was 8 pm. Half full and we were met with the wonderful advise that they were closed for service. This was Friday May 16th and the menu board was still at the entrance door to the restaurant. We went back to the reception and queried why the restaurant was not serving dinner at 8 pm on a Friday. The receptionist looked dumbfounded and told us it usually serves dinner at least until 9 pm but she took no action to assist us except to say we could walk fir 15 minutes to the Aveny, a street with lots of restaurants but could not suggest any close by. We ended up going to, as it happened, a fantastic restaurant right around the corner called Le Pigalle on the top floor of, we guess, a competing hotel. Fabulous meal in a restaurant that knew how to treat their guests. In short we have regretfully no positive things to say about the ProfilHotels Opera in Gothenburg. Gothenburg was fantastic but when we return we will definitely not book at the Opera which is overpriced for the standard and service they offer. Total waste of money at this venue. Regretfully we did not bother to take any pictures of the place as it is nothing we wish to remember about it.

Love the location which is at the heart of the city. Located directly next to a tram/bus station made travelling so much easier too! Bonus: It’s next to a pier which means great views to start the day and end the night!

Very kind stuff , great breakfast and very good dinner (a small buffet dinner but everything was delicious and tastefull). Location quiet, only 10 min with tram 1 to main railway station and 15 min with tram 5 to Universum and downtown. Not a problem at all. Nice courtyard inside , gym very well equiped, sauna also included. We really liked our stay here and would come again. There is outside pool.
