1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square
2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night
3) thereâs a lift and a laundry area downstairs
4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you
5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. Thereâs minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm itâs quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic
6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (ä¸ć°´é¨ďź gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel
7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward .
Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou

Guest UserI carefully chose a hotel in the ancient town and decided on Floral hotel, and I absolutely loved it. Since many roads in the ancient town have traffic restrictions, the lovely lady at the hotel's front desk drove a small car to pick us up right at the entrance, which was incredibly thoughtful.
We booked a family room, which had two king-sized beds (1.8 meters each). There were also two foot-of-the-bed sofas, perfect for putting things on or sitting, which was very convenient. The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the space was quite generous; even with our luggage spread out, it didn't feel cramped. There was also a small balcony with lounge chairs, but unfortunately, it was too hot to fully enjoy it. When we arrived, the staff had already turned on the air conditioning for us, making the room wonderfully cool, and they even helped carry our luggage to the room. The service was impeccable.
The room we booked this time came with a package that included two tickets to a Chaoshan-style Yingge dance performance, as well as an afternoon tea set and duck-shit-scented lemon tea. The Yingge dance performance was very unique; watching the show while sipping tea felt very local and authentic. The performers were skilled and dedicated. By the time we finished watching the Yingge dance, the afternoon tea had already been delivered to our room. It was incredibly pleasant to escape the heat and enjoy afternoon tea at the hotel! Once the sun set, we went out to find food. The hotel is right next to the main street, so it was a short walk to many dining options.
Overall, the location is convenient, the room is bright and clean, and the service is exceptionally good! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Guest UserWandering through the streets and alleys of Chaozhou Ancient City, you can really feel the unique charm of the old town. The front desk staff were gentle and friendly, happy to share recommendations for authentic local eateries. The room was clean and quiet, making for a pleasant stay. This comfortable experience added a lot of warmth to my Chaozhou trip.

Guest UserThis was my second stay here, both for business trips, and it perfectly met my needs. My main priorities are cleanliness and safety, and I was quite satisfied on both fronts. However, I'd suggest that in the future, delivery drivers shouldn't bring food directly to the room. It should default to being left with a robot or at the front desk, especially for safety reasons.

naprasongStayed here during my trip to the Chaoshan region. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location near both Chaoshan High-speed Railway Station and Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport, making it very convenient for travelers connecting to other destinations.
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport and railway station with advance reservation, which was extremely helpful and convenient.
The room was well-equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was standard and sufficient, while the overall service was satisfactory.
One thing to note is that the hotel is not located in the city center. Traveling to Chaozhou Old Town and other attractions in Chaozhou usually requires a taxi ride of around 40 minutes. There is a convenience store nearby, but for more restaurants and shopping options, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer.
Overall, this is a practical and good-value hotel for travelers who prioritize easy access to the airport and railway station rather than staying in the city center.

Guest UserOur family of four originally booked a Jumu King Room, but the lovely young lady at the front desk kindly upgraded us to an Executive Audio-Visual Room for free, which was a pleasant surprise! The room was larger and had an outdoor play area for kids, making it perfect for families. Our children had plenty of space to play.
Since we have a baby, we also called the front desk to request a bed rail, which helped us feel much more at ease during the night.
Additionally, because our flight was late at night, we specifically requested a late check-out from the front desk, and they were very accommodating.
We ordered a lot of takeout, and our friends, who were staying in another room, also had their takeout delivered to our room. The front desk staff specifically confirmed the name on our room before delivering it to us, ensuring it wouldn't be sent to the wrong room or disturb strangers.
Overall, we are very satisfied with Atour. The service was excellent, and our stay was very comfortable. We will definitely choose Atour again in the future!

Guest UserThe hotel is a bit hard to find, tucked away in the alleyways of the ancient city, but the staff offer pick-up and drop-off service which is very convenient. They are also incredibly warm and attentive. The Nanyang-style decor is beautiful and perfect for photos, and the rooms are quiet and clean. There's even a slide that kids will absolutely love. You can have a fantastic time here without even leaving the hotel!

Facilities: Excellent and very new.
Cleanliness: Spotless! I even told the cleaning staff it was clean enough, but she clearly has incredibly high standards for herself.
Ambiance: Very pleasant, a quiet oasis tucked away in a bustling neighborhood.
Service: I was quite annoyed with the room key issue. We were staying for consecutive nights, and after a tiring evening exploring the night market, we returned to our room on the sixth floor only to find the key card wasn't working. I sent my child to the front desk to get it reactivated. She came back saying it was fixed, but it still didn't work. I then had to go down *with* my child myself to the front desk to ensure it was properly reactivated before making another trek back up. It was genuinely exhausting.
Suggestion: It's quite inconvenient to have to reactivate the room key at the front desk when extending a stay. Most hotels allow guests to simply continue using their existing key without this extra step. I hope this process can be improved, especially given how busy the elevators already are.

This hotel is my top choice for business trips. The facilities are excellent overall, and the spaces are large and bright. The lobby lounge area is quiet and comfortable, and the book bar and floral tea section really elevate the stay experience. There's even a dedicated play area for kids. Breakfast is consistently good, with delicious Chaoshan-style kway teow soup noodles, and a well-balanced mix of Chinese and Western options. The mahjong room on the third floor is clean, and the laundry room on the fifth floor is practical and convenient. The free parking is a great perk, with plenty of space for easy entry and exit. The staff are warm, responsive, and attentive, making the entire stay smooth and pleasant. Definitely worth five stars! Clean and tidy.

Tai'antang Howard Johnson Hot Spring Hotel is indeed well managed and operated in a grand manner. It is located in a quiet area with good air and high forest coverage, making it suitable for hiking, drinking tea and spending time. It has a rich breakfast, a hot spring scenic area, and a Qilin Pavilion.
