Traveling with a friend, we stayed here. The front desk lady was so thoughtful, picking us up in an electric car right at the entrance of the ancient city. Upon arriving at Qiao Jia, we were offered refreshing drinks to quench our thirst and cool down. We checked in after 2 PM. The room was spotlessly clean, and we received complimentary fruit, biscuits, and snacks. They also provided us with a guide to explore the ancient city. After a tiring day of exploring and eating in the ancient city, we returned to our room for a rest. We were even given free tickets to an Yingge Dance performance and complimentary tea and snacks. The room was very photogenic, and the hotel's rooftop was a great spot for taking pictures. Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel's location is excellent, with Guangji Tower, Guangji Bridge, Zhenhai Tower, and West Lake all within walking distance.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. We received a phone call from the hotel informing us that a laptop was found in the room after we had left Chaoshan. They made arrangements to deliver the laptop to us in our next hotel located in Guangzhou. The front desk staff has been very kind to help us place our laundry into the dryer and kept for us overnight so that we didn’t have to keep going to down to check and collect our laundry. Service is top notch in my opinion. The boutique hotel is conveniently located in the old town and the interior is tastefully decorated. Rooms are huge, clean and very comfortable. Local Breakfast is freshly prepared when we sat down at the dining room. It’s a place I would highly recommend anyone visiting Chaozhou. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My stay here exceeded expectations! The location is convenient, the environment is clean, the facilities are complete, and the service is warm and thoughtful. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it. They even provided a special car service to take me to the high-speed rail station! Our family of four originally booked a Jumu King Room, but the lovely young lady at the front desk kindly upgraded us to an Executive Audio-Visual Room for free, which was a pleasant surprise! The room was larger and had an outdoor play area for kids, making it perfect for families. Our children had plenty of space to play. Since we have a baby, we also called the front desk to request a bed rail, which helped us feel much more at ease during the night. Additionally, because our flight was late at night, we specifically requested a late check-out from the front desk, and they were very accommodating. We ordered a lot of takeout, and our friends, who were staying in another room, also had their takeout delivered to our room. The front desk staff specifically confirmed the name on our room before delivering it to us, ensuring it wouldn't be sent to the wrong room or disturb strangers. Overall, we are very satisfied with Atour. The service was excellent, and our stay was very comfortable. We will definitely choose Atour again in the future!

I was genuinely surprised to find such a great hotel at this price point! The room was exactly as pictured, clean, odor-free, and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was strong, and the air conditioning cooled down the room quickly. There are restaurants downstairs, making dining very convenient. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and check-in was very fast. It's incredibly good value for money; if you're on a budget, you absolutely can't go wrong with this place. Highly recommended! The pictures don't even do it justice; the value for money is just incredible.

Facilities: Excellent and very new. Cleanliness: Spotless! I even told the cleaning staff it was clean enough, but she clearly has incredibly high standards for herself. Ambiance: Very pleasant, a quiet oasis tucked away in a bustling neighborhood. Service: I was quite annoyed with the room key issue. We were staying for consecutive nights, and after a tiring evening exploring the night market, we returned to our room on the sixth floor only to find the key card wasn't working. I sent my child to the front desk to get it reactivated. She came back saying it was fixed, but it still didn't work. I then had to go down *with* my child myself to the front desk to ensure it was properly reactivated before making another trek back up. It was genuinely exhausting. Suggestion: It's quite inconvenient to have to reactivate the room key at the front desk when extending a stay. Most hotels allow guests to simply continue using their existing key without this extra step. I hope this process can be improved, especially given how busy the elevators already are.

Tai'antang Howard Johnson Hot Spring Hotel is indeed well managed and operated in a grand manner. It is located in a quiet area with good air and high forest coverage, making it suitable for hiking, drinking tea and spending time. It has a rich breakfast, a hot spring scenic area, and a Qilin Pavilion.
