"I've been using Trip.com to book hotels, both domestically and internationally, for over a decade, and this is the first time I'm writing a serious review, for this hotel. The location is excellent, and there are no issues with cleanliness. However, in the room I stayed in, when it was time to sleep, I could hear a loud 'whooshing' sound, like someone was taking a shower with a powerful faucet. The sound was very distinct and jarring. I thought it would eventually stop, assuming it was a neighbor showering, but it continued until 3 AM. I went to the front desk to ask what the sound was and begged to change rooms, explaining that I had a long drive the next day and not getting sleep would be very dangerous. They replied that the hotel was full and they couldn't move me, stating that the hotel had poor soundproofing. They offered me some foam earplugs, saying to just put them in and it would be fine. But the sound continued without stopping until morning, directly hitting my ears and brain nerves; I simply couldn't sleep. How bad is the soundproofing in this hotel? After 1 AM, when people are usually asleep, things generally quiet down. I don't know what facility in this hotel was making such a loud, continuous noise, but it couldn't even meet the most basic requirement for sleep. It must be specific rooms, and if you're unlucky enough to get one, consider it bad luck. The next day, I quickly checked out to escape the noisy environment. Thankfully, I drove for several hours safely. I'm writing this review to warn others that if you plan to book here, it's best to communicate beforehand and make sure you don't get a noisy room. I also hope the hotel improves its noise issue."

"Our room had a great view of most of Chaozhou, and while it wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate for two adults and one child. The hotel service was excellent; every staff member proactively greeted us, and room service was prompt. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and all the staff there were very enthusiastic. Downstairs, there's a large shopping mall with plenty of shopping and dining options. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay."

"I came here before the Spring Festival, and it's right in the heart of the ancient town, perfect for exploring and dining. Unlimited bottled water is a really generous touch, much appreciated! The owner is very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful tips. Finding a parking spot yourself can be tough, especially on holidays. Whatever you do, don't park illegally – even late at night, you'll get a ticket."

"This hotel is conveniently located directly across from Chaozhou's West Lake. The rooms are well-equipped, with comfortable bedding and a sofa with cushions that have a perfectly angled backrest, making them very comfortable to sit on. The hotel offers daily laundry pick-up and delivery directly to your room. The second floor has full laundry and drying facilities, making the overall amenities very complete and convenient. The front desk staff are friendly and the overall stay was excellent."

"The service was incredibly attentive; they even upgraded my room! The hotel has a unique style and an amazing environment. The location is absolutely perfect, right outside the Paifang Street and Yongji Gate. Amazing!!!"

"The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room's bedding was clean, white, and dry with no strange odors – impeccably clean. The water pressure was excellent, and the shower had a strong, consistent flow, making for a really great showering experience. The air conditioning cooled down the room very quickly and was incredibly effective, yet virtually silent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here!"
