"After reading the reviews, I can confirm that the Hyatt Centric is indeed as good as people say! 😁 The hotel breakfast offers a wide selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, including freshly made Chaoshan-style kway teow soup and fish dumplings – a nutritious start to power you up for the day! 😉 The room has a bright view with excellent natural light and is fully equipped with amenities like a capsule coffee machine and a Dyson hairdryer. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. It's conveniently located just 1km from the Pearl River and 2km from Longyan South Road. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shantou! 🤗"

"Chaozhou Manxin Hotel completely exceeded my expectations and was the most comfortable place I stayed on this trip to Chaoshan. The hotel is right next to Chaozhou Ancient City, allowing you to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the old city up close without being bothered by noise from the bustling streets. The room was spacious and bright, with impeccable cleanliness. All the facilities were new and well-equipped, and the smart lighting and bathroom experience were excellent, making for a particularly quiet night's rest. The staff's service was just right – enthusiastic but not intrusive, and they responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast offered a rich variety, with freshly cooked Chaoshan noodles that were authentic and flavorful, catering to both northern and southern tastes. They also provided convenient amenities like free parking and self-service laundry. With both its hardware and software being top-notch, the overall comfort level was maximized. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chaozhou."

"This hotel may be a bit far from town but it provide a very high level of service consistency in comparative to a local brand chain store. The front desk manager, Kaka was outstanding from the time before we check in (was on trip.com discussing with us on our expectation such as ensuring all our 3 different booking on the same floor and pre arrange early check in upon our arrival (around an hour ahead of normal check in time)), upon arrival (giving advice on where to eat and go), during our stay and met us again personally during our check out. The breakfast selection is reasonable and ends at 10:30am allowing more time to sleep in. They even purposely boiled two hard boil at 10:30am (ends of service) for me to take away during my check out day. Overall, this hotel is comfortable to stay in with really good service. I would highly recommend it if you are looking at consistent level of service from an international brand."

The owner is very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful tips. Finding a parking spot yourself can be tough, especially on holidays. Whatever you do, don't park illegally – even late at night, you'll get a ticket."

The front desk staff saw we had a child and kindly arranged a quiet floor for us. The room was clean and hygienic, perfect for families with kids, and they even provided children's slippers. Service gets full marks. The hotel's location is very close to the scenic area, and there are all sorts of restaurants nearby. I'd love to come back during the holidays!"

I booked in advance, and the driver patiently confirmed the departure time – very attentive and polite. Shantou Station round-trip transfer service for two: Excellent! Late check-out until 3 PM (subject to availability): Yes! They will try their best to arrange late check-out based on the actual situation."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just inside Guangji Gate. We booked a deluxe king room, but after checking in, we found the air conditioning wasn't working. We spoke to the front desk staff, who confirmed that the AC in this particular room wasn't cooling (and explicitly told us he knew about it, had maintenance look at it, but they couldn't fix it). However, since all other rooms of the same type were full, they couldn't move us to another deluxe room. The only option was a standard room, which we declined. The staff then suggested we call his manager. After speaking with the manager, we were immediately upgraded to a suite. The cleanliness, environment, and facilities were all very good. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for frontline staff, and a big thumbs up to the manager for handling the situation so well! 👍"

The check-in was straight forward even with my limited Chinese vocabulary. There was a window in the bedroom so that was nice. The TV worked and allowed for watching local channels. New releases and movie rental was also available at additional cost."
