ZZhengchenzhixinHygiene: The room was very clean.
Ambiance: The decor was lovely and cozy. There was some street noise from cars at night, but they thoughtfully provided two pairs of earplugs. We're good sleepers so we didn't need them, but it's great for those who aren't – the host really thought of everything.
Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, with both a bathtub and a shower. In addition to earplugs, they also provided sanitary pads, hair clips, hair ties, disposable toilet seat covers, and bathtub liners, so no need to worry about hygiene. These small details really show how much the host cares.
Service: The front desk service was excellent. If we had any questions, we just messaged them on WeChat, and they provided very detailed answers. When we arrived, they helped with our luggage and gave us a guide to local food and attractions. We wanted authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot, and they recommended Pan Ji Beef, which was indeed very authentic. On our first day, it rained heavily, and they even messaged us proactively to be careful.
Location: It's a five or six-minute walk to Han Wen Gong Temple, and Guangji Bridge is directly opposite the temple. We specifically chose a place close to Guangji Bridge to easily watch the light show at night. During the day, you can walk from Guangji Bridge into the ancient city. It's better value than staying inside the ancient city. When we checked out, the host even gave us a small gift box of Chaozhou San Bao. Overall, we were very satisfied; it was a pleasant two days.

GGuest UserThis courtyard-style hotel really captures the essence of traditional local dwellings, truly befitting a grand family estate. It's located right within the ancient city scenic area, making it incredibly convenient to visit attractions like Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple – just a few hundred meters' walk away. The facilities are modern and well-equipped, and the environment is clean and hygienic. Our butler, a lovely young lady, provided attentive service and even offered tips for sightseeing and local food, which was a big plus! 👍
The only minor drawback is that since the hotel is inside the scenic area, traffic control means cars can't drive directly to the hotel. We had to park at the nearby helicopter base parking lot and walk a few hundred meters. But honestly, strolling through the ancient city's alleys on the way was quite enjoyable. I particularly loved having a private courtyard; it felt like our own little sanctuary, and the kids could play without disturbing anyone. A pleasant surprise was receiving a souvenir gift upon check-out! ❤️ Highly recommended! 👈👍

GGuest UserArrived at the hotel at 3 AM and the front desk guy was asleep. Initially, there were no rooms available, but both the platform and the staff member helped us sort out the accommodation. We even got a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise! For the next two days, Ms. Orange was at the front desk, and she was super sweet and had a great attitude. The guesthouse's location is absolutely fantastic, right by Paifang Street, and you can see Hanjiang Guangji Bridge from the fourth floor. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! Highly recommended!

It's in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, not directly on the main road. There are lots of great local eateries nearby; the hotel's recommendations for food stalls were especially reliable and delicious! It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the scenic spots, and ride-sharing services are readily available.
It's a standalone property with convenient parking! The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the room size is good. The breakfast is rich and high-quality, especially the kway teow noodles! 😘

GGuest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, right by the ancient city. Turn left out of the hotel and you're on Kaiyuan Road, which is lined with tons of restaurants offering a fantastic variety of delicious food. It's also very close to Kaiyuan Temple and other ancient city attractions. The hotel itself is very clean, and there's free coffee available in the lobby. The service was also great; a friend in our group left their phone on a sofa in the hotel when we checked out, and the staff were kind enough to mail it back to Shanghai for us. It was a wonderful trip!

SShellylingThe location is excellent, right by the Han River, with the ancient city just across. It's about a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel to Han Wengong Temple and the start of Guangji Bridge. It's very quiet at night, perfect for a good rest. The hotel is right on the Han River bank, and walking along the greenway is very pleasant. The photos were taken by the river in front of the hotel after dinner on the day we checked in. The breakfast was quite varied; the only issue was the lack of coffee in the restaurant, though there were instant coffee packets in the room.
Facilities: The heated toilet seat was great; the bed was very comfortable. The night light was a bit too sensitive; sometimes it would turn on even when I hadn't gotten out of bed at night, perhaps sensing the comforter falling when I turned over. The room door was heavy and felt secure, but it made a loud noise when closing.
Service: The front desk staff were helpful and attentive.
Cleanliness: Average. There were stains on the room sofa that looked like they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned from a previous incident. While it didn't affect usability, it did make me a bit concerned about hygiene.

GGuest UserThe location is really good. When you walk out, there is Xima Road on the left and Kaiyuan Road on the right, which are all snack streets. It takes only six or seven minutes to walk to Chaozhou Ancient City. The inn is in an inconspicuous alley. The lobby is quite antique. The room can barely accommodate 4 people with double beds.

GGuest UserThe location right next to the main street of the city with a little park for our room was fantastic. We had a family room with a double bed and two large bunk beds. The bunk beds were a bit hard for the west. The room had a nice balcony with view on the backyard, right next to the buddhist temple.
Highly recommended.
