AAnonymous UserWe checked in on a rainy evening, and Wu, a very kind gentleman from the hotel, specially waited for us at Guangji Gate Tower. He met us under two ancient banyan trees. We had an 88-year-old grandpa and grandma with us, along with a wheelchair and luggage. He truly was a warm-hearted person, calmly guiding the elderly as they walked slowly. During check-in, Xu, a lovely lady at the front desk, thoughtfully made sure the elderly sat down and brought them tea, making for a smooth check-in process. Wu then went back out in the sudden rain to pick up our driver.
The hotel is brand new, with excellent facilities and a superb location. The breakfast features authentic Chaozhou specialties, and the chef, a wonderful lady, was very attentive and enthusiastic.
When we checked out, a kind gentleman and a tall, beautiful lady from the hotel thoughtfully escorted the two elderly guests all the way to their car, which was parked under the banyan trees by Guangji Gate Tower. In my gratitude, I didn't get their names in time, but thankfully, I managed to snap a picture of their backs as they moved, truly touched by their kindness.

MM36396****The location is easy to find, not far past Han Wen Gong Ancestral Temple. It's a small standalone building set back from the road, with its own independent and ample parking lot.
Environment: What you see is what you get. From the rooms to the lobby, it's a monochromatic palette, simple, clean, and spacious.
Service:
1. Feedback was incredibly prompt. When I mentioned the pillows were uncomfortable, they immediately bought two new deep-sleep pillows for me.
2. This is also the most generous hotel I've ever seen when it comes to providing water – they literally brought a whole box! 😁
3. For the safety and privacy of guests, the front desk staff personally deliver all food deliveries to the rooms.
4. Upon check-in, they thoughtfully provided a guide to local attractions and food, which was highly valuable. The restaurants they recommended were all places frequented by locals.
5. The amenities provided in the room, from snacks and drinks to feminine hygiene products, really show the operator's meticulous attention to detail.
When I left, they even thoughtfully gifted me some local souvenirs, which I truly appreciated. The 'Chaozhou Three Treasures' were especially friendly to my sensitive stomach!

GGuest UserFull of old-world charm and elegant surroundings: From the decor to the furnishings, everything has a lovely aesthetic. The Chinese courtyard and wooden attic-style rooms are very relaxing, and you can see the care put into the details – it's a great spot for photos. The owner is wonderful: Very warm and attentive, offering proactive suggestions for sightseeing and helping with itinerary planning. Excellent location, convenient for getting around: Close to all the major attractions, with great transport links nearby, which saves a lot of travel time and lets you focus on enjoying your trip.

GGuest UserOur family came to Chaozhou and booked a stay at Huazhu Dongmen Inn through Trip.com, located in the old town. This inn is incredibly convenient, just over 100 meters from Chaozhou's most famous attractions, Guangji Tower and Guangji Bridge. It's also only a hundred meters away from Paifang Street, Zhenhai Tower, and many renowned restaurants. What's more, it offers the unique experience of taking an elevator straight to the rooftop tea bar to enjoy a tea and watch the Guangji Bridge light show. Despite being so central, it's surprisingly peaceful. The staff at the inn were also incredibly thoughtful, especially Ms. Yingtao. She was so welcoming and not only provided excellent service but also proactively introduced us to Chaozhou, making us feel the warmth and kindness of the local people.

It's in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, not directly on the main road. There are lots of great local eateries nearby; the hotel's recommendations for food stalls were especially reliable and delicious! It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the scenic spots, and ride-sharing services are readily available.
It's a standalone property with convenient parking! The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the room size is good. The breakfast is rich and high-quality, especially the kway teow noodles! 😘

RRianna_hlThe hotel front desk staff were very welcoming. Since we arrived late, they upgraded our room and even shared a Chazhou travel guide with us. The room facilities were excellent, the bed was super big, and there was a nice little balcony. The hotel is right across from Kaiyuan Temple and Paifang Street. A short walk takes you to Guangji Tower, and Guangji Bridge is just across the road. In short, it's very convenient. I forgot to take photos of the room, so I'll share some photos of the attractions instead!

Cleanliness: Spotless! I even told the cleaning staff it was clean enough, but she clearly has incredibly high standards for herself.
Ambiance: Very pleasant, a quiet oasis tucked away in a bustling neighborhood.
Service: I was quite annoyed with the room key issue. We were staying for consecutive nights, and after a tiring evening exploring the night market, we returned to our room on the sixth floor only to find the key card wasn't working. I sent my child to the front desk to get it reactivated. She came back saying it was fixed, but it still didn't work. I then had to go down *with* my child myself to the front desk to ensure it was properly reactivated before making another trek back up. It was genuinely exhausting.
Suggestion: It's quite inconvenient to have to reactivate the room key at the front desk when extending a stay. Most hotels allow guests to simply continue using their existing key without this extra step. I hope this process can be improved, especially given how busy the elevators already are.

GGuest UserStaying at this hotel was a delightful surprise! The spacious and bright environment, along with the free parking, immediately made me feel relaxed and uplifted. The lobby sofas are incredibly soft and comfortable – perfect for unwinding. The book bar offers a rich and diverse collection, ideal for passing the time or diving into a good read. The large round tables in the second-floor breakfast restaurant create a wonderful atmosphere for group meals, making dining with multiple people really enjoyable. And the laundry room on the fifth floor, equipped with both washers and dryers, is an absolute must-have for business travelers – super convenient for wash-and-dry all in one go!

It's a very quiet environment, and parking is easy too. We had a hearty breakfast that tasted pretty good, and the front desk staff were all very helpful. Definitely recommend it.
