Perfect
GGuest UserThis guesthouse, nestled in an old Republic-era mansion within Chaozhou's ancient city, absolutely blew me away during my short Chaoshan trip. I stayed in the front courtyard, which was full of antique charm! There are also two more courtyards in the back, featuring Republic-era Western-style buildings. Staying here, it felt like time itself slowed down, as if the years were quietly flowing by.

AAnonymous User1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square
2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night
3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs
4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you
5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic
6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门) gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel
7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward .
Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou

ZZhengchenzhixinHygiene: The room was very clean.
Ambiance: The decor was lovely and cozy. There was some street noise from cars at night, but they thoughtfully provided two pairs of earplugs. We're good sleepers so we didn't need them, but it's great for those who aren't – the host really thought of everything.
Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, with both a bathtub and a shower. In addition to earplugs, they also provided sanitary pads, hair clips, hair ties, disposable toilet seat covers, and bathtub liners, so no need to worry about hygiene. These small details really show how much the host cares.
Service: The front desk service was excellent. If we had any questions, we just messaged them on WeChat, and they provided very detailed answers. When we arrived, they helped with our luggage and gave us a guide to local food and attractions. We wanted authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot, and they recommended Pan Ji Beef, which was indeed very authentic. On our first day, it rained heavily, and they even messaged us proactively to be careful.
Location: It's a five or six-minute walk to Han Wen Gong Temple, and Guangji Bridge is directly opposite the temple. We specifically chose a place close to Guangji Bridge to easily watch the light show at night. During the day, you can walk from Guangji Bridge into the ancient city. It's better value than staying inside the ancient city. When we checked out, the host even gave us a small gift box of Chaozhou San Bao. Overall, we were very satisfied; it was a pleasant two days.
SshirleylalaNo wonder this B&B was a filming location for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala; it truly lives up to its perfect reviews! The experience was fantastic. It's centrally located in Chaozhou Ancient City, making both transportation and parking incredibly convenient. We parked at the Kaiyuan parking lot, and it was just a one-minute walk to the inn. The owner was exceptionally thoughtful, offering tips and recommendations for food, drinks, and activities throughout our stay – all of their local suggestions were spot-on. The old courtyard house has a charming, ancient vibe, and our room was clean and refreshing with complete amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The 'Qingmei Pavilion' duplex room was spacious with plenty of beds and excellent audio-visual facilities, offering incredible value for money. This B&B is a ancestral home from the Ming Dynasty, with attention to detail evident everywhere. It's also a benchmark for fire safety, making us feel very secure during our stay. The surrounding alleys are bustling with local life, and you can stumble upon delicious specialty foods around every corner. Strolling through the ancient courtyard dressed in Nyonya attire made for beautiful, atmospheric photos.

GGuest UserMy best friend and I spontaneously decided to visit Chaozhou, and we booked this guesthouse on the same day. It's right in the heart of the ancient city's Paifang Street, making it super convenient to get everywhere. Parking was easy too, just a few minutes' walk from a lot about 500 meters away. The guesthouse itself has excellent facilities, and everything is very tastefully done. The staff were warm and attentive, and the place was spotless. Honestly, the whole experience was even better than a five-star hotel. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserArrived at the hotel at 3 AM and the front desk guy was asleep. Initially, there were no rooms available, but both the platform and the staff member helped us sort out the accommodation. We even got a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise! For the next two days, Ms. Orange was at the front desk, and she was super sweet and had a great attitude. The guesthouse's location is absolutely fantastic, right by Paifang Street, and you can see Hanjiang Guangji Bridge from the fourth floor. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! Highly recommended!

YYouranyishuxiaA hidden gem of a hotel!!!
It's in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, not directly on the main road. There are lots of great local eateries nearby; the hotel's recommendations for food stalls were especially reliable and delicious! It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the scenic spots, and ride-sharing services are readily available.
It's a standalone property with convenient parking! The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the room size is good. The breakfast is rich and high-quality, especially the kway teow noodles! 😘

Very Good
GGuest UserFacilities: Excellent and very new.
Cleanliness: Spotless! I even told the cleaning staff it was clean enough, but she clearly has incredibly high standards for herself.
Ambiance: Very pleasant, a quiet oasis tucked away in a bustling neighborhood.
Service: I was quite annoyed with the room key issue. We were staying for consecutive nights, and after a tiring evening exploring the night market, we returned to our room on the sixth floor only to find the key card wasn't working. I sent my child to the front desk to get it reactivated. She came back saying it was fixed, but it still didn't work. I then had to go down *with* my child myself to the front desk to ensure it was properly reactivated before making another trek back up. It was genuinely exhausting.
Suggestion: It's quite inconvenient to have to reactivate the room key at the front desk when extending a stay. Most hotels allow guests to simply continue using their existing key without this extra step. I hope this process can be improved, especially given how busy the elevators already are.
DDaizhuofagudalaohuI fell in love with this hotel after just one stay! The front desk staff, especially the gentlemen, were so gentle and patient, and check-in was seamless. The free tea in the lobby smelled amazing, and it was so relaxing to sit and enjoy a cup. The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities you could need. The bedding felt like something from a five-star hotel – I fell asleep instantly and woke up feeling refreshed. The sink had great water pressure, the drain worked perfectly, and the hairdryer was powerful yet quiet, making it incredibly easy to use. The rice noodle soup in the second-floor breakfast restaurant was delicious and flavorful. The washing machines and dryers on the fifth floor were a lifesaver, and the free luggage storage made my trip completely hassle-free. Even the cleaning staff in the elevator would greet me with a smile. Five stars!

__WeChat281177****The hotpot downstairs was delicious and very affordable. Two adults and two kids ate for less than 200 yuan. Breakfast was just okay, and the staff seemed a bit unfriendly and unwelcoming. The room had a very old-fashioned feel, suitable for parents.
Service: There's a shuttle service to and from the station, but if you miss the 9 AM shuttle, you have to wait until 10 AM. The hotel only has one vehicle. It's best to book your departure shuttle in advance.
