Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

I did a lot of research online before coming to Chongzuo, and it turns out choosing Mingshi Courtyard was an incredibly smart decision! First, the facilities are excellent. The room is huge, with a split-level design. Downstairs is the living room and bathroom, and a balcony with views of the garden and pool. Upstairs is the bedroom, a very reasonable separation of living and sleeping areas. Crucially, there's almost no light pollution or noise, which is truly rare and wonderful. Secondly, the service is outstanding. Many hotels offer butler service groups, but the Mingshi Courtyard's butler was the most responsive I've encountered. From golf cart transfers and addressing requests to providing directions and more – during my four-day stay, every single staff member I met was smiling, warm, attentive, and patient. It felt like they all owned the place themselves. The management is truly impressive! Finally, and the biggest perk, is how convenient it is to stay at Mingshi Courtyard for exploring Chongzuo, given its proximity to Mingshi Scenic Area. It's actually located *inside* the Mingshi Scenic Area, allowing for an immersive experience of the pastoral scenery. It's also super convenient for visiting Dao Na Li Cafe, Detian Waterfall, and Dongna Yuwan. You can even borrow bicycles from the hotel and cycle through the fields, which is incredibly relaxing! They even gave us organic rice and other souvenirs when we left. I really wanted to write them a good review, hoping more people will discover this high-quality hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jinhua Kokusai Hotel, and I must say it was a truly comfortable and convenient experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great city view. The amenities provided—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, bottled water, toiletries, and a work desk—made my business trip both productive and relaxing. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. It offered a wide selection of both local Chinese dishes and international options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area was always tidy. The location of the hotel is also ideal, with easy access to nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and transportation. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the hotel’s surroundings are lively and convenient. Overall, I highly recommend Jinhua Kokusai Hotel for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great value. I would definitely return on my next visit to Jinhua.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We traveled here by private car from Baise, and the entrance is quite small – truly a hidden gem, just as other online reviews described! The natural environment of the hotel is quite impressive. But what surprised me even more was the service. From check-in, seeing that there were three of us, they upgraded us to a triple room with a panoramic corner view, so we could wake up with the sunrise. Since we didn't have a car and were planning how to get to Detian Scenic Area (even though it's only 2 kilometers away), the front desk offered a shuttle service. So, the round-trip transfers to Detian from the hotel on our second day were all arranged by the hotel staff. During our 1+ day stay, every single staff member we encountered greeted us warmly with a smile, and offered helpful advice on routes and precautions for exploring the scenic area. Their genuine kindness was the most delightful aspect of our trip. Additionally, the hotel's own restaurant offers all-day dining. We had a late breakfast, then headed to Detian, and after Detian, we went to the Blue Grotto. We didn't want to eat at those scenic area restaurants, as the ambiance and food safety are definitely not as good as the hotel's. So, after finishing our activities, we chose to dine at the hotel around 3 PM. We just needed to inform the front desk what we wanted to eat about half an hour in advance. The pineapple rice is a must-try!

The hotel has a fantastic location, just a few minutes' walk from the food street. We had dinner there as soon as we arrived, and it was the first time I'd ever seen round avocados. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable. We booked a triple room, and while I thought a family room would just have multiple beds, it turned out to be a suite. The children's room also had a large bed and tatami mats, which exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, with an open-plan sink area, so showering, using the toilet, and washing hands didn't bother each other. A special compliment was that the hotel even provided makeup remover and facial cleanser – so thoughtful! The minibar was complimentary 😋 The receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, with a lovely smile, and she answered all our questions and requests. My friend later left her documents, including her visa for Vietnam the next day, at the front desk, and they proactively contacted her and delivered them to her room. The very same kind lady who checked us in the previous night checked us out the next morning; we learned she had finished her shift last night and was working the early shift that day – hotel staff really have it tough! The hotel has its own parking lot and a large, comfortable courtyard. All three of us were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it.

I booked this hotel without hesitation solely for the bunk beds with a slide, despite seeing many negative or mixed reviews on Xiaohongshu. To be honest, this phenomenon of villages being densely packed with guesthouses is common in places like Zhoushan too, and as long as there's no noise, I'm perfectly fine with it. The hotel breakfast is very generous; usually, sharing just two portions is enough for an entire family. They also offer different snacks every evening. Renting an electric scooter from the entrance is convenient, and the bicycles provided by the hotel are free. I contacted the concierge in advance to mention my child's birthday, and they kindly provided a complimentary 4-inch cake on the day. So sweet! 🎂

Overall, it was a really good stay. In this area, it's definitely one of the hotels with a great location and excellent facilities. The room design is well-thought-out, and there's a beautiful view from the window, making for a very comfortable stay. The room comes with a washer-dryer combo, and parking is convenient right next to the hotel, which is perfect for those traveling by car. As for breakfast, it's a set menu and quite tasty. (I do want to mention the auntie who cooks the rice noodles at breakfast. When I asked her to add some blanched greens, she gave me a very sour look and said some rather unpleasant things. The day before, the owner was there and kindly added them. This auntie I encountered on the second day really left a bad taste in my mouth.)

The location is excellent, right inside the scenic area, and the environment is lovely, much prettier than outside, like something out of a painting. I'd read reviews beforehand and knew the facilities were a bit old, so I had managed expectations. Compared to guesthouses, I'd personally recommend this hotel more. The breakfast is significantly better than what guesthouses offer, and they even included tickets to the Torch Festival. Overall, I'd still recommend it.

Facilities: There weren't enough charging outlets, and the toilet seat was a bit too low. The blankets were too damp. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Mountain views are visible from the windows. The location is opposite the People's Hospital. There are parking spaces in front, many restaurants downstairs, and a supermarket. The location is excellent. Service: The hotel lobby staff weren't very friendly. I heard I booked through Ctrip online; their attitude was unenthusiastic and cold.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
