"The hotel consists of detached or semi-detached three-story villas, each with a balcony perfect for drying clothes. There's an outdoor swimming pool (closed in winter). The amenities provided are of good quality. Breakfast is served in a large conference hall, offering a wide variety of options and plenty of seating. The hotel's location is also excellent, right next to the Zhuang Museum and a 'Stone Forest' where we explored many caves, which the kids absolutely loved."

"Just checked out of Zuojiang Hermit Hotel and I’m impressed. The name “Hermit/薄云” fits perfectly - the hotel sits tucked in the hills with the Zuo River right out front. My river-view room had floor-to-ceiling windows. Sunset + morning mist over the river = postcard view. Service was warm and proactive. Front desk is very helpful. Breakfast is good, lots of varieties. If you want quiet, nature, and real Guangxi vibes instead of a generic chain hotel, this is it. Will stay again next trip to Chongzuo."

"Overall I was pleased with my stay at the Kaixuan hotel. Great large room with a very comfy bed, good air conditioning system, nice bathroom and a small fridge (not cool enough to my taste though). Large indoor swimming pool (head/hair covering required). Good gym/fitness. Nice helpful staff at the reception (no English spoken except for one young lady). Though it is technically downtown I suppose if feels a bit remote. A quiet area facing the river. Public transportation is available via one single route (no 8). It is almost a 2 Km walk to the central railway station for the local trains (not the high speed ones). Not many eating opportunities immediately around so eating out requires to walk 1 to 1.5 Km."

"On my trip to Chongzuo, I stayed at the Mushroom House just in time for my wedding anniversary. I informed the hotel in advance, and they went above and beyond, decorating the room beautifully and even gifting us a lovely little cake. It was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel's environment is stunning. Even though it's out in nature, it's incredibly well-maintained and spotless. The room was fully equipped, with attention paid to every little detail. What surprised me most for a place in Guangxi was that I didn't see a single mosquito in the room! I participated in various hotel activities, and the butler consistently sent timely SMS reminders, so I never had to worry about missing anything."

Sweet souvenirs: rock sugar and dried longan, super good Welcome fruit: The fruit is very fresh, a very good B&B hotel, the feeling is not enough, the housekeeper is very considerate, the service is good, the room is large, the price is really worth it, the room is very photogenic, the refrigerator is prepared with Starbucks and apple juice, and two cans of potato chips, recommended!"

"This village is a bit far from Chongzuo City, so it's best to drive there. The environment is quite nice, with a swimming pool and well-maintained landscaping. Breakfast was so-so: rice noodles, eggs, sweet potatoes, and corn. The rooms are quite large and well-equipped. However, there was a major problem: the drain smelled bad. I told the front desk, and they had a cleaning lady come and put in some disinfectant tablets, but it didn't help."

"I booked a garden view terrace suite, but the balcony overlooked a construction site to the left and directly faced the plaza, offering virtually no view. I paid an extra 1k to upgrade to a lake view suite, which finally had a better view, but the bathroom still had a lingering odor. The service rating is for the front desk and coffee shop staff; their service was excellent."

It felt as comfortable and relaxing as being at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

Upon entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, which made it easy to move around without feeling cramped. The furniture was well-arranged, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The cleanliness was also reassuring, with the sheets and bathroom spotless, demonstrating the hotel's attentiveness. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They patiently answered my questions. Housekeeping was responsive and promptly addressed any requests. The service was excellent. The hotel's self-service laundry and drying service was very useful in this damp, cold weather, and the free parking was also very convenient. Overall, the Sheung Shui Gui Long Hotel performed well in all aspects and offered excellent value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again when I visit the area next time."
